Love watching the kids on their sleds. Awesome. Cant wait to gets some for our boys.
I love seeing the little guy's out there. Great videos.
Those tracks are crazy and great video of how they perform in spring snow conditions! Nice to see the kids out playing, No place like the outdoors!
Yeti is a bad ass and to watch the other people watch and talk about it and how well it goes is insane. Plus the lil ones play is great
it`s always great to see kids having fun , looks like an awesome place to ride !
What a beautiful place to ride! Love the black and orange those are my favorite colors.
Those tracks are impressive. Way to get out with the kids too!
Thanks. We had a blast
“My pants are so tight right now” LoL...yet another quote to remember.
hahahaha
Thanks for the gorgeous mountain views. They inspired me to sing "Oh Canada". Oops... maybe I shouldn't have woken the family at 1:38 AM.
Haha Awesome
Next video title should be “no half sends only full sends” haha

hahaha exactly. thanks for watching dude
@@ostacruiser How far do those tracks stick out past the back of the quad?
@@bencreske2560 Not sure of the exact measurement. But a ways for sure
Congrats ostacruiser u just built the first ever skidoo capable quad unbelievable
This was an amazing vid i see myself coming back to this one just because of the view u showed, and then the show u gave with the quad!!nice work, sounds like the air is a little thin though?ha ha ha
Thank you for the high resolution HD quality and thank you for the time and editing put into your videos hope you have a good night
Thank you for watching dude!!
No problem
that ending was cute!
Even tho I'm a Polaris guy I gotta say Osta you seem like a real good person
Thanks dude, I started out on Polaris :)

Thanks dude!
Love it when you make it up to Golden, she is turning out beautiful , nice work , next time with the sherp?
Deadly!!!!
Looks like the kind to get all right
will project Summit have some jet turbines on it Dave ? hehehe
edit : "my pants are so tight right now" lmfao what an ingenious euphemism .
I'm really impressed. I might get a set of these instead of a sled
Awesome
good stuff.
Sick!!
think the only thing i would add to that is some better snow/dirt guards at the front arches. Because it looks like you will get very wet on a warm day or if you take it in to the mud
that looks like the ticket!
nice quad i wish i had it
Nice, these guys got more money than they know what to do with
I'm so glad I found ostacrusier
Darren, it's never a bad decision
Wow, congrats on the awesome build!I wonder how those 2 inch lugs would stack up against ur 34.5’s in the skeg? Better play it safe and find out for sure.
You need to take that thing to Revy and try turbo hill !
I WANT ONE!!
magnifique
I have one of those 200s
That things a beast, I wonder if would do better with just rear tracks and front skis?
Nah. Wheelers with tracks in 2wd usually dig in. 4wd is key
So..... time to throw tracks on the RS1! That would be epic to see it hill climbing
Definitely!!
Couldn't quite tell if you were having any fun or not....!! Great video and nice to see the kids having fun and learning at the same time! Would appreciate your thoughts on the enclosed trailer in the video? We're in WA State and looking at a new Outlander 1000 with the Backcountry tracks and possibly an enclosed trailer! Might need room for two of the Outlanders though. Been enjoying your more recent videos too! Thanks very much for your thoughts! Stay safe...
Thanks. That trailer is nice but all steel so its heavy lol. Hope to get out west to the hills again this winter
@@ostacruiser Thanks very much for your reply! Hope you get back out west! Your videos are so fun to watch! Think you were in Revelstoke before....great area! Thanks again!
Hey Osta, do you ride in L or H gear with tracks ?
Mostly high gear. The tracks gear you down 40%
Sweet! But try snowbikes!
Can we see a vid on the r1 and you should get a dirtbike. They are really fun maybe like a yz 250f or yz 125
Some serious boondocking carving some bowls, damn I wish I was there. Poor Freeride 146 sit's idle till late fall sumabitch.
Trudeau must go!
That blows my mind. About how deep is this snow and how deep is the deepest spot you've ridden over? Just watching you plane out on top blows me away! BTW, that joker makes you look much younger because your *Am-Can* is so darn tall!
The one year I lived in Chicago, it was an Indian Summer! I never got to enjoy it... Just froze and went sledding on an actual sled for the first time in my life in the hills. Never a snowmobile because the snow wasn't there for it yet.
The snow pack was still somewhere around 10 to 12 feet
ostacruiser how fast will the quad go in snow
Aint1S
My Lord, that put exactly what you're doing into some kind of perspective for my Texas mindset. You know that simple logic where the ground stays the same year round and deep is a measure of how much you're sinking... If it's deep, you sink and vice versa.
Sufficed to say that to even head up North, most Southerners who have never seen real snow would lose more than their ride.
That's crazy to know you're riding over snow that looks no more than 2' deep to my eyes, but in reality it's 5 to 6 times the depth! That's scary and impressive!
VERY impressive Hill Climbing ability from the can am! A question though - how do you brake going downhill (and in these conditions are you not in danger of setting off an avalanche?
I used the engine braking, we chose safe terrain and wore all our mountain safety gear
Man. The views up there are ASTONISHING. Everything looks so crisp and clear. Your friend was funny. “Coming down is probably even more scary”. Does he not realize who he’s talking about thats riding the quad? And where you’ve had quads before. This was probably like a Sunday stroll through town on a sidewalk for you. Haha. Looks like the quad did phenomenal though. That snow looked so fun! Thanks for the vids! Now. Time to get back to the ‘skeg. Will you be pulling the tracks off and taking this one out too or is this relegated to snow use and just gonna run the Rene? Because you did just build up the Rene and threw the bottle on it, right?
She is getting some Outlaw 3"s to shred some skeg also, but the Renegade will be the main skeg machine still
ostacruiser I figured the Rene would still be #1, but thought I would go ahead and ask anyway. 👍🏻
Heyyyy your ripping quartz. Never thought a quad would make it up where you got it on that ridge
Man I was so impressed! Can't wait to go back lol
Seems thèm long tracks like to eat
Are you going to wrap this bike?
Awesome rig man what have you done to the clutch
I am running full 3p stm clutches
Awesome! I want one. Whats the gas mileage?
Been riding tracked quads since 2007 and yes they will blow your mind where they will take you,and the stability with them on can get you into trouble when you take them off because you will try hills, that with tracks is nothing, but is way too steep for just tires.P.S. just an fyi on the video you say it feels bad on side hill, well I've only ever rode 1 can am with tracks and it was the 800 renegade, so I can't say what your 1000 is actually like, but my 700 grizzly is about impossible to roll with the track kit on it, I mean yes you could obviouslly roll but lets just say I've had mine on side hill bad enough that it was hard to even stay on the seat of the darn thing, when you think about it you are putting something like 60 (I believe it's closer to 70 actually ) pounds below the center line of the axle on all 4 corners, so you are putting nearly 300 pounds below that axle centerline, and you are making the machine about 6 inch wider on each side, so nearly a foot wider than normal overall, and you are making it much longer also, believe me it is way more stable than you think, I just have rode them long enough to know what they can do, but once you actually get use to them for a while I think you will find that your early observations about stability will change, it just takes some getting use to, because in your mind you will think no way a four wheeler will roll over on this, but you find that more like no way she will take way more than this, I'm just being a chicken LOL, just be carefull man don't want to hear that you got hurt so proceed with caution my friend, take care and happy riding.
Man I fricken love that Yeti!!
Anyone know...can you get away with riding an ATV on snowmobile trails if it has tracks??? Never really thought about that but something i need to look into!
Midwest ATV like snowmoblie trails? Or bike trails? Or dirt trail?
In new york state the only ones that are allowed to run tracked atvs arethe clubs for grooming and trail maintenance
Snowmobile trails...I mean it has tracks after all!
Thats a bummer!
Midwest ATV in mn they are not allowed on public trails you can easly look it up under you areas trail laws booklet thing
Wicked! How did your belt fair?
Great, no issues when running full aftermarket 3p stm clutches
what would be good tire in mud should also take asphalt driving in the 500cc atv (27-9-11-14 or 28 inch)?
Look at some Maxxis Zillas
View
Could you do a video tour of your dodge flat bed?
Look up Ostacruiser Dually Update
ostacruiser thanks
You should turbo it
Osta Hello, what is the length and width of the Outlander MAX with these tracks?
How do you get your stuff over seas lol
Hi! How much is the Cam Am been modified?
Looks like fender extensions could be in order. No?
Have them sitting in the shop, never got installed lol
How high is this
Do you think this kit it hard to build on to a 2020 scrambler 1000s?
A bit of work and she'd fit I bet
Sounds like your Canadian . French
Aaay
How fast is the quad in snow
I did 52mph so far haha
What made you get a summit over a freeride?
850 wasn't available in the Freeride in 2017, 2018 and 2019 the Freeride in 154" isn't any different then the summit x besides shocks, they changed to a kyb pro 36 from kyb pro 40"s, not near as good, no extra bracing either
It's Farley quick
Do a project yeti against the six by six to see witch is better
These new tracks would leave the 6x6 in the snow dust lol
ostacruiser you right
where are you?
What is that narrating?
It just climbs
Does it really weigh 1500+lbs??
With a few hundred pounds of slush and snow on it I bet its close lol
What kind of catterpillar you have? Name of producer please
Can am Apache back country tracks
Search for Sasquatch
Do you still have that
Yes sir. Just put the tracks back on
ostacruiser can’t wait for some videos of it
The abominable snowman ??? Oh its just osta haha
haha
economics 101: Pick up - $50-75K, Trailer-$15k, Bike- $15-20k, tracks-$3-4k, GAs/food/clothing-$500-800.
total: $84-115k. Pretty expensive keeping up with the Joneses.
Loving every single second of it 🤣🤣🤟🤟
No point taking it with ya, enjoy
The instagram video of the sherp was sketchy
1
that thing is slow ,i thought he was gonna do like 80 mph
And then you woke up from your dream? LOL JK
