    That blows my mind. About how deep is this snow and how deep is the deepest spot you've ridden over? Just watching you plane out on top blows me away! BTW, that joker makes you look much younger because your *Am-Can* is so darn tall!
    The one year I lived in Chicago, it was an Indian Summer! I never got to enjoy it... Just froze and went sledding on an actual sled for the first time in my life in the hills. Never a snowmobile because the snow wasn't there for it yet.

      @Aint1S 6 років тому +1

      My Lord, that put exactly what you're doing into some kind of perspective for my Texas mindset. You know that simple logic where the ground stays the same year round and deep is a measure of how much you're sinking... If it's deep, you sink and vice versa.
      Sufficed to say that to even head up North, most Southerners who have never seen real snow would lose more than their ride.
      That's crazy to know you're riding over snow that looks no more than 2' deep to my eyes, but in reality it's 5 to 6 times the depth! That's scary and impressive!

  • @ronleitch7788

    Man. The views up there are ASTONISHING. Everything looks so crisp and clear. Your friend was funny. “Coming down is probably even more scary”. Does he not realize who he’s talking about thats riding the quad? And where you’ve had quads before. This was probably like a Sunday stroll through town on a sidewalk for you. Haha. Looks like the quad did phenomenal though. That snow looked so fun! Thanks for the vids! Now. Time to get back to the ‘skeg. Will you be pulling the tracks off and taking this one out too or is this relegated to snow use and just gonna run the Rene? Because you did just build up the Rene and threw the bottle on it, right?

    • @ostacruiser

    Been riding tracked quads since 2007 and yes they will blow your mind where they will take you,and the stability with them on can get you into trouble when you take them off because you will try hills, that with tracks is nothing, but is way too steep for just tires.P.S. just an fyi on the video you say it feels bad on side hill, well I've only ever rode 1 can am with tracks and it was the 800 renegade, so I can't say what your 1000 is actually like, but my 700 grizzly is about impossible to roll with the track kit on it, I mean yes you could obviouslly roll but lets just say I've had mine on side hill bad enough that it was hard to even stay on the seat of the darn thing, when you think about it you are putting something like 60 (I believe it's closer to 70 actually ) pounds below the center line of the axle on all 4 corners, so you are putting nearly 300 pounds below that axle centerline, and you are making the machine about 6 inch wider on each side, so nearly a foot wider than normal overall, and you are making it much longer also, believe me it is way more stable than you think, I just have rode them long enough to know what they can do, but once you actually get use to them for a while I think you will find that your early observations about stability will change, it just takes some getting use to, because in your mind you will think no way a four wheeler will roll over on this, but you find that more like no way she will take way more than this, I'm just being a chicken LOL, just be carefull man don't want to hear that you got hurt so proceed with caution my friend, take care and happy riding.
