One thing i really love about this performance is how she is able to keep it in this tight little 'zone' from start to finish. Many artists (even adults, but especially children) would have felt the need to step off the plarform halfway through and take the song someplace 'big'. With some strutting around the stage and some loud finishing notes. Angelina (at 8) understood exactly how this song should be done, and she did it perfectly. Her artistry (even at 8) is something really special.
It's funny you should mention that. Every time I hear this, I feel myself almost trying to rush it for her and she keeps holding me back. It's amazing in that it feels almost like a physical thing and she takes control and brings me along in the way it should be. That's really hard to explain.
@@ShanLiB yes, I can just imagine how many producers and stage coaches would try to get her to do the cliche performance I described.... but she knows exactly how it should be. Another really good example of this is her live "my funny valentine" when she was 9... she draws this song out for 5 minutes and the result is just a thing of beauty IMO. I love how slowly she does this one... ua-cam.com/video/EFu4_cpY858/v-deo.html
As a lot of us have said in the past, she has been sent to us from who knows where, in a time in this world that we need this across world ( Music/Song/Love) Great reaction! Keep it up. One of her own SHIELD at 12 😍
Just a note on her next performance “summertime “. There is a video of her rehearsal where she takes charge and shows the trumpet player how she wants him to perform. He picks up his trumpet and starts to play. You see her pointing up telling him to go higher. Consider that she had just turned eight. She at this age knows how she wants to sing and how she wants it to sound. A wonderment and a musical genius.
I am happy for that there are so many young artist with great talent. This You Tube reactions is great to show the world singers they othervice would not heard about. This video is a reaction to one of Angelinas song but also an opertunity to inform about other singers, like others singers videos are an opertunity to inform about our angel.
Angelina once said when she sings she goes to a beautiful indescribable world. She has the talent to give us a glimpse at that world by hypnotizing you with her voice. You can’t help but want to be there in that world of emotion with her.
I absolutely love your reactions to Angelina’s music. She is amazing and truly an angel. Your reactions encapsulate the true essence of her music and she gives us a gift each time she sings. I love her rendition of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” and “Welcome to My World” (my choice of songs give away my age lol). I’m glad her family surrounds her with love and the very best of intentions by letting her be a child first 💕.
Hi Adam, I really love your reaction with Angelina Jordan. I fell in love and am always in awe and mesmerize of her voice since the first time I've heard her audition in Norway Got Talent. Till such time, she sang in AGT. I just love her old soul. A gift from heaven and a real treasure in music. Literally, I like all all her covers because of her voice. One of my favorites are Moon River and The Show Must Go On. By the way, I am from the Philippines and I would appreciate if you can also react to one of my ultime favorite singer,s our beloved own fellow Filipino, Leah Salonga singing On My Own of Les Miserables of its 10th Year Anniversary. Thank you and more power! 😊❤️😘
👩🏻🎤🎵🌎⭐️🇳🇴❤️ This remains my favorite performance by Angelina from Norway's Got Talent in 2014. I love her understated delivery, and the beautiful tone of her voice which is so perfectly suited for this song. When she sang, "I was five and he was six" I think she was referring to the previous week.😊 Since you've gone back to her time on Norway's Got Talent, you might take a look next at her final performance on that show, when she sang George Gershwin's Summertime. It is remarkable.
This song was written by Sonny Bono (l966) for his then wife Cher. She had a hit with it. Later that same year Nancy Sinatra released a version that was slower than the original, and she had an even bigger hit. Of course, Angelina is covering Nancy's version. Angelina was always the favorite in this competition after her audition with "Gloomy Sunday" went viral overnight. She ended up winning the show by a landslide, garnering almost half of all the votes, which left all the other contestants to divvy up the other half. The only thing wrong with this performance is that it was too short. I loved it and wanted more. While you're here Adam, you might as well react to the performance she won NGT with---Gershwin's "Summertime". Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/rfqcv_aqDnk/v-deo.html Her control in this song, and especially her vibrato, is amazing. I love your Angelina reactions, Adam. Looking forward to many more. 😊💕
Hi Adam, glad your staying with my ( favorite ) A J, she is just so special, isn't it great that she is so well brought up, loved and cared for. Thanks for carrying on with A J's tracks. Loads to look forward to.
Again, a super reaction to my favorite singer. Thank you so much for your time, yours is a clear channel and I enjoy so much coming here for any Angelina performance. I always give you a thumbs up because you deserve it Adam.
First I want to say that I you are becoming one of my favorite favorite reactors. I have heard this video numerous times and it still amazes me. Great Reaction Stay Safe
Good reaction, as usual. She is so good! She displays such confidence and is in total control. Angelina becomes a little girl again when the after performance interview occurs. The next/last song on Norway's Got Talent, Summertime, is even better, for me. There are so many others. I really like I'd Rather Go Blind, and California Dreamin' and Someone You Loved, and Always On My Mind and..and..it doesn't stop. I like what you do. If you react to Angelina, I'll be there.
You probably saw here how shy and humble she is when speaking. She is just as humble and polite now at 14. We saw that in AGTtC as well. Such a wonderful personality. However, when she is performing in front of people she isn't nervous at all. That is where she wants to be. She gets so much positive energy from being on the stage and channels that energy into her performances. I have never ever seen Angelina perform below the high expectations we have of her. She said once that singing is as important and natural for her as breathing.
I love this performance, and your great reaction did of cource not take anything away from it. Hoping for a reaction even to her other performances at the NGT. Her Billie Holiday covers "Gloomy Sunday" for her first audition, and "I`m a Fool To Want You" for her second audition. Her final performance of "Summertime" is an absolute Must See, as I see it. Just stunning. Thanks for your greate reactions.
I think you have say "her voice are just perfect for that song" more times than you would think as you goes through her music. That's a good thing. Thank you for this reaction.
“Wicked Game” from Angelina is one of my absolute favorites. And the song she wrote “shield” I believe was written for her family and inner circle people that protect her. I enjoy watching your reactions. 😊.
Adam always look forward to your reactions cause u know her so well now and appreciate her gift...love her lower register too...so rich dark and velvety ♡
I love when Angelina sings from her "other world", because to me, those are always the most special performances. As many artists across the spectrum... singers, dancers, painters, sculptors... do, Angelina really does go into a trance and go elsewhere. (I am a hypnotherapist, so I recognize the signs.) The thing that always makes me a little sad, is that the hosts try to get Angelina to speak, before she's quite back. If you need to see it really clearly, the best example I saw was at the end of her, "I Put a Spell on You". If you go back and watch it again, watch her eyes. Her whole bearing changes, and it's so cute after she finishes, as she blink, blink, blink, makes her way back. She looks forward to her singing and her special world, so we never see any indication of nervousness. I love Angelina. Our little barefoot princess. Thank you for your amazing reactions. I can tell she is stealing your heart, as she has the hearts of so many. I just noticed how late I am, and don't know if you'll see this, Adam, but I love your reactions, and always look for them. Thank you so much!
Fantastic, fantastic! and at such a young age. Can't wait for you to hear Angelina's cover tribute to Whitney's " I have nothing..." Do it soon! it won;t disappoint!
I left you a comment already about "Bang Bang" and as soon as i did, i went to hear "Gloomy Sunday" .. the first time singing on Norway's Got Talent .. i dont know how much time before it and Bang Bang (finale) but on Gloomy Sunday you'll see her total newness and its amazing the growth from then to only weeks last for Bang Bang. I so look forward to hearing your reaction to Gloomy Sunday.
Thanks for another excellent reaction. I smile that you are still talking about something suiting Angelina's vocal style or her voice. In time I predict you will join the rest of us who understand that she does not have a vocal style or a particular voice. While it is always possible to recognize that it is her singing, she morphs her style hugely to suit the particular song she is singing, for every song. You are only a tiny way in to her vast repertoire, so when you have experienced some of her versatility masterpieces, I am sure you will begin to see the Angelina chameleon as well. Enjoy.
Adam, thank you for such an insightful review :) What can I say about Angelina's performance here? Pure artistry, professionalism and confidence, even at such young age. I loved how she connected one word with another almost making them one sound. Beautiful! Another important thing is was the judge said and you highlighted that even until this day, Angelina's family takes very good care of her, allowing her to pursue her career but at a slow pace, leaving space for school and just being a young girl. They have turned down many, many contracts over the years to protect her freedom to express herself her way. This is why one of her original songs is called "Shield" in honour of her mother, grandma and family who have been her shield against the industry's sharks. I enjoy your reactions very much so I hope to watch another one soon. I'm currently kind of obsessed with her performance of "Every Time We Say Goodbye", so that's my recommendation for today ua-cam.com/video/KRSI8HmTHJA/v-deo.html
Adam, you should take some time to watch Gloomy Sunday with the english subtitles again and watch it until the video ends. The comment of the judges after Angelina has left the stage are worth to hear. And please also react to her Summertime from this Competition. The best version ever - from a 7 year old. Worth to listen.
With 'Bang Bang' as with all other songs, Angelina has the talent of connecting to her own higher self and be able to feel and therefore express various emotions. Hearing her sing 'Bang Bang' is just as if she is narrating a story, she herself was witness to and indeed a part of. It's a level of empathy which is highly spiritual and amazing
Here’s the problem: as great as Bang Bang is, Summertime (her next performance here) is equally great, but completely different. I’ve decided that it’s probably impossible to say that I have a favorite Angelina song. I can’t even say that Bang, Bang is my favorite eight-year-old Angelina performance. And I’m stumped on my favorite bluesy Angelina, or my favorite acoustic Angelina, or my favorite pop Angelina, or my favorite soul Angelina. Her many vocal personalities are all so strong that each one seems to be her natural voice and style. But with all that being true, watch Summertime. If you close your eyes, you’re hearing an experienced, nuanced jazz singer just killing a classic bluesy, jazzy song-with the vocal texture and timing most singers would give their right arm for.
Hard to argue with anything you said. She's sang some songs that i don't particularly like, but her performance of those song are still amazing. But when she sings a song i already love she takes it to a level that is beyond what anybody else can do.
My favororite song of hers is when she sings just after she won NGT. She sang "What a Difference a Day Makes". Also quite stunning. ua-cam.com/video/ZSfgCIGd7k4/v-deo.html
@@Ekinnajay It's as if that song was made for her. If you haven't heard the mash up by pa1989j of Angelina and Dinah Washington on this song, here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/BM87RyQQWcQ/v-deo.html At 35, Dinah was at the top of her game, just coming off a Grammy for this song; Angelina is 8. Close your eyes and just listen for the tone and phrasing; it amazing how similar they are. Did I mention that AJ is 8. ???
Hi Adam & thank you. That was an awesome reaction & I'm glad you liked. I fell in love with NS version of the song back then & now Angie's too. This is BEST one! I love also AJ's voice and that guitar together. If i must be Robinson Crusoe and spend next 30 years alone emty island, and i have 3 wishes. This song will be one of those.
Thank you for this new wonderful reaction Angelina's, Adam, this is another splendid interpretation of that fantastic little girl. Angelina, at 8 years old, sings a slowed down and so emotional version, that the judges and the audience had been kidnapped by her voice, as her teeth grew, her confidence with the microphone also increased and her voice gained confidence. She is always incredible in the choice of songs and in the way she wants to sing them and this already from these first participations in public, it seems impossible for a child to be able to have such musical knowledge and such mature opinions. ❤️ In another performance, 2 years later, I think she herself asked the orchestra to slow down the music and she applies modulations and bass tones in a different way. He has some bodily attitudes that he has not normally used in other versions and her voice is also very clear because the instruments of the orchestra remain in the background and are absolutely not invasive. ua-cam.com/video/9tIjM3RG6EA/v-deo.html
As always love how you love and appreciate Angelina. Artist like her always start the debate about being gifted. Was she born this way or did her environment create and nurture it? I believe people can be gifted from birth and environment can certainly influence a gift. If everyone could do what she does it wouldn’t be special.
Probably my favorite AJ clip......maybe because it was the first I'd ever heard of her, when I saw it a couple of years ago on Facebook. And a shout-out to the dude on the guitar.
For a taste of a couple more voices from Angelina Jordan, I would love to hear your impressions of Chirs Isaak's "Wicked Game" (ua-cam.com/video/5IAMF4FDfw4/v-deo.html) and "A Song for A" (ua-cam.com/video/4_vBAP2_2A0/v-deo.html). A note about that last one: it is from a Robert Burns poem put to music composed by Nico Cartosio for his recent album (Melting) specifically for Angelina's voice.
In some sense it is a maybe small thing, but considering she was in her first competition and very young, it is fascinating that she chose to start the song while at the curtain and (fearlessly as we have come to appreciate in all her performances) to step up onto the platform and arrive at the microphone just in time to sing into it. Stylistically, I'm not sure why she did that but it was impressive nevertheless.
She said in an interview singing on stage for a large audience felt totally naturally for her from the very beginning. Although I'm just a recent addition to her bunch of "Angels" I understand that fear of her beeing wracked by money hungry music managers was and is always there. I think anyone is very greatful her mum is so protective of her. This performance always catpults me directly back into Tarantinos Kill Bill. But Angelina added much more depth and is sounding much more darker than the original. Which you only realize in direct comparison. For everyone knowing her a bit we can cut that much shorter- it's typical Angelina. Nuff said. The funny thing with these NGT videos, I'm always itching to vote for her when watching the performances. Totally hilarious ;-)
One of Angelina's finest performances! Thanks for another fine reaction Adam as your channel is now one of the best on UA-cam. No phony balony BS in sight. You probably have noticed that early on, Angelina sang with a lot of vocal fry. She's tempered that as she has aged, but occasionally comes back with it like she did with Etta James' "I'd Rather Go Blind" It's one of my favorite Angelina jazz "voices." BTW, have you ever considered flipping the screens. In that I mean give the performer the major portion, with you as the inset. Yes, I know we are watching your reaction, but to me at least, the performance is paramount. Thanks again, and looking forward to more Angelina reactions
That should keep you busy for a while ;) When that channel showed up out of nowhere last summer it was a dream for all us angina fans. Video after video of all her backstage stuff, rehearsals, songs we had never heard from her.... That channel is a goldmine! There hasn't been much posted on it this year, but there is nearly 500 videos.... in fact, there are so many videos on that channel that there are some I have only seen 5-6 times ;)
She has an ear for the subtleties of jazz expression which would be impressive in an adult. It's astonishing in a 7 year old. and yes, her family is very involved and very protective. And while I know nothing of what kind of training/coaching she's getting, I have to believe it's there because in the past seven years she has developed remarkably.
This is in my opinion her best performance from NGT. The others are of course amazing and may have been be more technically challenging. But every note of this song wasn’t just technically perfect but contributed to both the musicality and the mood of the overall song. The subtle vocal fry (e.g. “...that awful sound...”) and beautifully nuanced vibrato, among others, set the darkly beautiful mood and give her voice that genuine Nancy (ie. not forced) Sinatara-esque quality.
Only a few weeks before this she sang "Gloomy Sunday". She was missing teeth with some crooked .. she looked so young .. by the time"Bang Bang" (finale) happened they'd fixed her teeth .. she'd become such a sensation all over Europe. I agree with the Judge about her strong family unit .. it still is to this day .. they hold her with great care.
Watching Angelina Jordan from a small child to the age of 13 and her performances on AGT we see her play with styles and the tone of her voice like other little girls play with dolls. By her AGT performance we know every choice is deliberate even if her second song choice wasn't. she has gradually created her own musical lexicon of tone texture and emotion. I remain and will always be a fan of someone whos singing can make me cry.
She says she doesn’t get nervous. If you look up her visit on Scavlan when she debuted Shield she made a touching statement. In answer to does she get nervous she said, heavily paraphrased, ‘When she sings she goes to another world. It is beautiful.’ It’s worth the time to look it up and listen and watch when she describes it. This is why Carl Jung would say she goes to the Collective Unconscious and finds what she wants/needs.
What I also find amazing about Angelina, besides her stunning talent, are her song choices. How many seven or eight year olds would pick Jazz, or Blues tunes? On these competitions they always go for big, belty numbers, not Angelina, she chooses, and arranges the songs that she feels deeply. Bang Bang is a brave choice, she is fearless.
What I love about Angelina is her ability to sing with nuance. She pays attention to the little things that make the song more special. For instance, when she goes from "Bang, Bang..." into the next phrase "...you shot me down", she holds the note on Bang and runs it into the "you shot me down". She does it each time and it just sets the mood and emotion of the song. Thanks for another great reaction. I am still waiting for you to do her live James Brown cover of "This is a man's world". It will give you a completely different side of her voice - ua-cam.com/video/HEm7tGrjIKk/v-deo.html
Thank you for your observation of Angelina Jordan singing "Bang Bang" and thoughts on the career, love your sensitive openness or English gentleman ...
I’m enjoying your journey with AJ. Even though I’ve heard everything she has performed, I love to watch someone hearing one of her performances for the first time. Your comments are always interesting, and it’s always a pleasure to spend a few Internet moments with you. I’ve tried to become a fan of Dimash and Aurora, but they haven’t hooked me yet. If you want to try another young female singer, look into Lucy Thomas.
Angelina is by far my favorite artist, the night I heard her for the first time (bohemian rhapsody) I spent hours and hours just searching for her content on YT and have been listening to her every day since. I have only heard one or two songs from Aurora, didn't get hooked immediately but may give her more chances. I was also really excited when I first heard Dimash SOS, his incredible range and technique really goes well with that song. Unfortunately when I heard a few more songs I was very disappointed how he belted out high notes when they seemed totally misplaced for my ears. There is a saying that when you have a hammer everything looks like a nail, and he seems to suffer from that. Only heard a couple of songs from Lucy Thomas, but I've liked what I've heard. Not mind-blowing, but pleasant to listen to. I've also stumbled across Beth Hart in my search for Angelina reactions. Haven't heard many songs from her yet, but she seems like an amazing artist too. Makes me wonder why I've never heard of her before.
@@geirtoresimonsen8729 I agree on Dimash. I can't understand what people see in him. So many high notes. At times it sounds like he is giving bird calls. No soul.
I watch as many videos of people reacting to Angelina as I can. First, because I want to share that moment of them discovering what a wonderful talent she is, and secondly, because I just love listening to her sing. There are a few songs that I'm not fond of, and this isn't to be mistaken as I don't like the way she sings them, I'm just not fond of the songs. Those are very few, and this is not one of them. Almost every time I hear her sing, I get a huge smile, and my eyes tear up a little. That's what happened with this one as soon as I saw what you were reacting to. It's almost like being so proud of one of your children for doing something really special. Even after hearing almost all her songs dozens of times, it's still the same reaction.
This performance and her a cappella "I'm a Fool to Want You" in the previous round of the same competition are continually vying in my mind for the title of The Most Impressive Thing I've Ever Seen on a TV Talent Show (with her other two performances on the show being not too far behind). Not much more to say, really. [grin]
One of Angelina's original songs titled "Shield" was writen to her mother on the very topic of her watching over her. Here are the lyrics- www.lyrics.com/sublyric/54129/Angelina+Jordan/Shield
She turned eight during the show. “just for me the church bells rang” If the sound of “chu” was continued I believe I would die of bliss. It was brilliant to dress her in white.
one of the Judges Omer Bhatti who later has become a family friend with the Jordans told in a interview earlier this year that he sometimes help out driving to events and stuff and if Angelina starts singing in the car he just have to pull over and listen
Tom Bredesen , please tell where this interview whith Omar Bhatti is, I would love to read it, if possible. I want to know everything about Angelina, and that was a fun little part!
You are very on point with your comments. And yes, «a match made in heaven» indeed. But with Angelina Jordan, there are many such matches... I see a lot of recommendations for «Summertime», and very much agree. But I am not sure the NGT performance at age 7 is the best version for you. Sure, it is absolutely incredible for her age, but that is basically true for everything she sings. Still, for me it is one of her «time pieces», quite stylised and very heavy on the vibrato. It shows her mastering a specific (and difficult!) style at a tender age, and I like it very much myself. But it is before she really started to be creative with all that she has learnt, which is where her real genius lies. It sounds ridiculous, of course, but the proof is readily available: Angelina Jordan was a great singer at 7 or 8, but had developed to a musician who happens to sing at 10 or 11. So only a few years after NGT, she did «Summertime» quite differently - and in my opinion, even better. In the way of her best performances, it is not «brilliant for her age», it is simply brilliant. It is also interesting to see her performing with a large orchestra (of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation), without being overwhelmed in the slightest and clearly enjoying herself very much. I am talking about this performance: ua-cam.com/video/stwF4ti1tbc/v-deo.html Some «Angels» will disagree, for sure. So here is a suggestion of something I haven’t seen from any reactor, but would very much LIKE to see: A double take of Angelina Jordan’s NGT and live orchestra versions of «Summertime». Whichever one prefers, I think this will be quite both interesting and enlightening!
Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" is the second single by American singer-actress Cher from her second album, The Sonny Side of Chér. Written by her then-husband Sonny Bono and released in 1966, the song reached No. 3 in the UK Singles Chart and No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a single week (behind "(You're My) Soul and Inspiration" by The Righteous Brothers),
Thank you for another grand reaction to Angelina. There are many comments below suggesting which of her performances you should react to next. As this is you first reaction to the younger Angelina , I think you should keep in this age group. In fact, I will go further and suggest you first listen to her at the age of 6. If you react to the videos listed below in the order I have listed them, it would increase your knowledge of how talented she was at ages 6 - 8. age 6 - Early visit to a Recording Studio:I who have nothing: ua-cam.com/video/RjQZKBpVaes/v-deo.html age 7 - Norway's Got Talent - First Audition:Gloomy Sunday: ua-cam.com/video/d3gSho9yf88/v-deo.html age 7 - Norway’s Got Talent - Judges' Cut-Off:I’m a fool to want you ua-cam.com/video/LXknLZDoRVQ/v-deo.html age 8 - Norway's Got Talent - Final: Summertime: ua-cam.com/video/443pBSpx5B4/v-deo.html age 8 - Charity Concert in Sweden- "I'll be there": ua-cam.com/video/VJIwvWdoO3o/v-deo.html age 8 - Charity Concert: At last: ua-cam.com/video/819bQ9I-T-g/v-deo.html

When she was interviewed on Skavlan she said when she sings she goes to another world, it is endless. She sings Shield on this show. You also get a snippit of a capella "Diamonds are Forever."
She was 7/8 here. Everybody has been amazed at what a natural performer she is-never nervous.

Angelina Jordan sings PERFECT!!! Her voice is beautiful & wonderfoul!
Yes! Brilliant musical direction from Angelina to the trumpet player...she is a musically gifted genius : )
She hears the music inside and knows the sound it should too. She does the same with a pianist.

By the way, I am from the Philippines and I would appreciate if you can also react to one of my ultime favorite singer,s our beloved own fellow Filipino, Leah Salonga singing On My Own of Les Miserables of its 10th Year Anniversary. Thank you and more power! 😊❤️😘
She is just amazing! Great reaction and analyse. 😎🇸🇪👍
It is remarkable.
i remember this very well, i watched the show and voted like crazy for her, and of course the little angel won
That's awesome! Now you can say you had a hand in her success!
Thx everyone who supported her! Without her winning NGT we may have never heard of her.
linda mari. Yeah,i did too.She was my favorite from the start😊
Yes Cher very Nancy Sinatra is not my favorite singer all
I am eight months ahead of him I can’t read see them
I’m a Fool To Want You is a must to listen too!
Hi Adam, glad your staying with my ( favorite ) A J, she is just so special, isn't it great that she is so well brought up, loved and cared for.
Thanks for carrying on with A J's tracks.
Loads to look forward to.
A real treat to listen to (for the umpteenth time). Mesmerising, even at this age.
Thank you for your kind words! I love her Bang Bang rendition. Have heard it 100s of times over the years.
Oh wow that’s amazing to read! Thank you for the insight!
Thank you for the awesome reaction and putting the judges comments in also.
If i could hit the like button a 1000 times I would. Wish I could live in that world....incredible.
Enjoy.
Adam, thank you for such an insightful review :)
What can I say about Angelina's performance here?
Great reaction. Remember seing that performance live on tv back then. It felt truly unreal.
When it comes to jazz songs, Angelina has no one who can do them better than her.
How about Norah Jones?
Summertime on NGT is a real killer. That performance in my opinion can still hold its own even against later ones. Her vibrato is just so amazing.
Hard to argue with anything you said. She's sang some songs that i don't particularly like, but her performance of those song are still amazing. But when she sings a song i already love she takes it to a level that is beyond what anybody else can do.
johnvasi oh not me, I have a clear favorite. It’s the song she happens to be singing at that particular moment. :)
Listening to Angelina is my daily trip into space!!!
Prodigy Angelina takes me to my Happy Place . . . She's a Phenomenon
In another performance, 2 years later, I think she herself asked the orchestra to slow down the music and she applies modulations and bass tones in a different way. He has some bodily attitudes that he has not normally used in other versions and her voice is also very clear because the instruments of the orchestra remain in the background and are absolutely not invasive.
ua-cam.com/video/9tIjM3RG6EA/v-deo.html
She is very humble and shy and so beautiful .
As always love how you love and appreciate Angelina. Artist like her always start the debate about being gifted. Was she born this way or did her environment create and nurture it? I believe people can be gifted from birth and environment can certainly influence a gift. If everyone could do what she does it wouldn’t be special.
With the lyrics and her age - it is just so heart-crying
I'M 89 YEARS OLD----Angelina Jordan "hypnotizes me" what a remarkable child. I'm in Australia.
She was so beautiful in this performance. An absolute Angel.
Angelina doing Summertime or What a difference a day makes - would be a treat!
Thanks again, and looking forward to more Angelina reactions
rotorhead1942 i totally agree..I look for Adam's reaction above all others. A class act exploring a musical phenomenon..wonderful to watch and learn.
@@kevingood4644 Yes, I find his comments spot on and meaningful. I wonder what his musical background might be. He might have said and I missed it.
rotorhead1942 Not sure..maybe you could let us know Adam if you get time? Cheers
Thank you for this great reaction to Angelina . Another beautiful live performance is her interpretation of Every Time We Say Goodbye (Cole Porter)
Cannot get enough of Angelina!! Love you dear girl! You make me so happy! 😍
Goosebumps every time I listen to her. No other artist can do that. I’d love for you to react to “The Show Must Go On.”

Always a pleasure to follow your reaction and comments sir. Thanks 👍❤
I was 5 and he was 6....
She sings this song as if it was autobiographical.
Honestly, I can't imagine anyone doing better.
This video was my introduction to Angelina. It was like a beautiful bomb had dropped.
Incredible! And thank you to that amazing guitarist!
Adam, what a wonderful reaction, you really nailed it. Thanks. : )

Angelina’s funny rehearsal. Song It’s Magic
There has never been sung a better version, not even the original version was close to Angelina's version.
as is many many of her covers....she is truly a prodigy of musical emotion transference.
You should check out her audition for Norway´s got talent!! It´s still one of my favorite auditions of all time
This is my FAVORITE old performance of hers.
Also, omg the way you say Sinatra _sends_ me! ✈️
Haha thanks!
I wish it was longer . Beautiful
No soul.
She was just 7!!!! Outstanding
So happy that you loved her too! I fell in love with her from her first note and still listen to her every single day. 💗

If you keep watching Angelina and Dimash you will never be disappointed. Two of my favorites.
She has an inflection of tenderness not found in much older singers.
It was style, tone, and tempo... Perfect... What more... Needs saying. And like many to... To... Short.
Thank you for this reaction! I have asked 2 or 3 reactors to do so with no result. I just think it’s marvelous and want others to experience it.
This performance and her a cappella "I'm a Fool to Want You" in the previous round of the same competition are continually vying in my mind for the title of The Most Impressive Thing I've Ever Seen on a TV Talent Show (with her other two performances on the show being not too far behind). Not much more to say, really. [grin]
Bang bang is one of my favorites, she is and will always be amazing.

She’s 7. Almost sings Acapella. Others always have a back track but she brings her own accompaniment.
I am talking about this performance: ua-cam.com/video/stwF4ti1tbc/v-deo.html
Some «Angels» will disagree, for sure. So here is a suggestion of something I haven’t seen from any reactor, but would very much LIKE to see: A double take of Angelina Jordan’s NGT and live orchestra versions of «Summertime». Whichever one prefers, I think this will be quite both interesting and enlightening!
What a Big voice for a eight year old...Love her...all the Luck in the world...
