This is a Timelapse of the construction of a "Bucketwheel Excavator 289", "Schaufelradbagger 289" by Revell. In real life, this Machine is one of the biggest Land vehicles in the world.

Excellent build of the giant bucket wheel excavator, a large, outstanding & unique model kit!
In around 1982, I saw this Revell kit in a local hobby shop (along with the Revell "North Cormorant" offshore oil drilling platform kit, which was also unique, & very large), & was fascinated with the model kit, & strongly considered buying the kit, but never did.

Vielen Dank fürs Anschauen. Genau das sollte das Video sein. Wenn Sie den Bausatz selbst in Angriff nehmen wollen, habe ich noch den Tipp, im Bauschritt 9 die Plattform mit den beiden Häusschen erst einzusetzen, wenn die Krankonstruktion fertig ist. Das habe ich leider falsch gemacht und mir so ziemlich alles verbaut. Leider ist das so im Video geblieben.

Cool. Yeah, I think, the 293 is even more interesting. Is it the same size though? The 289 is scale 1:200. Always pictured the 293 to be bigger, when compared.

Der Reparaturkran zwischen den beiden Pylonen wurde bei diesem Baggermodell vergessen. Ich habe auch so ein Modell, die schwarzen Gummiketten sind auch sehr empfindlich, Vorsicht damit.
