Reminds me of my first time with the watp core when I actually was running low on time and couldn't figure out the coords and then heard the boom. I started panicking so hard and I think I was seconds from death when I got it. No game has ever gotten my heart racing like that one moment. I had to take a walk so that I could calm down before the ending.

Day one of playing outter wilds : this video. Day 100 : let's just leave the ship at home and go to the sun station with just the jetpack. ships are overrated anyway. Day 1000 : Visit every planet and scan every nomai message in a single loop. Day 5219500000000 : your specie is now extinct, the universe has died and is reborn, a different specie is now playing outer wilds, exploring earth, jupiter and all the other palnets of that great game. (also in that game, earth creatures are weird things with fur on the top and only 2 eyes)

*leaves ship on the surface of brittle hollow and explores, 10 min later finishes and looks for ship* - 24 km away

So glad that I focused the Giants deep on my first playthrough. Chilled with GabBRO and found out how to simply wait out the universe by meditating. Made waiting for death a lot easier.

Actually there is at least one way for your ship to be lost on every planet with the exception of the first one (I don't know the English name...) On the Ash Twin the sand can suck it. On Brittle Hollow the ground can break under it and put it in the Black Hole. In Giant's Deep a typhoon can trow it through space. On the Interlooper the Sun's gravity will inevitably take it from you at a point. In Dark Bramble... either you never use the ship either you almost never quit it, depending of the players.

Try landing on the sun station. Then suddenly the amber twin sneaks up behind you and hitting you hard. You fall down to ash twin, you try to recover. Only to launch yourself backwards into the sun.

Devs could have made the mistake of coding an autopilot that avoids obstacles. Glad they didn't.

Excellent build of the giant bucket wheel excavator, a large, outstanding & unique model kit! In around 1982, I saw this Revell kit in a local hobby shop (along with the Revell "North Cormorant" offshore oil drilling platform kit, which was also unique, & very large), & was fascinated with the model kit, & strongly considered buying the kit, but never did.

Oh no, I learned pretty quick to avoid the sun when setting setting autopilot... its the things like Hollow's Lantern, the Interloper (once), and whichever Hourglass Twin I wasn't trying to go to that I kept crashing into.
