you have the best job! love these vids. my 50 is on your landing 😉👍 had to laugh at those 3 giant white mustaches🤣 Thanks for taking us along. keep the great content coming. Welcome to Vegas!
Fly across Texas in that thing (it will still take ALL day). Texas is huge. Nice to see diamond finally has a reclining seat in the plane finally....i remember my first vfr clearance out of a class C too haha
Fossil Pointe is one of my favorite ranges in the country. Did you have a chance to check out their long distance range when you were there? I did my flight training nearby in Denton, but it's been a couple of years now since I've lived near enough to go. There's nothing quite like sitting behind a scope ringing steel at 800yds.
I like the paint scheme on that ‘62! Wish I’d made it to Reno this year. It would have been cool to see it and meet you folks. I hope that you can sort out whatever went wrong with the edit on this video, though. Lots of drops that lost little bits of the dialog, especially ATC communication. At first I thought it was just jump cuts for time, but there are drops where it’s only like a word that was removed.
Nice flight. . . but, Wow, what was with the choppiness in the audio/video? It was like someone cut and paste the video after each person spoke. That was weird! Must be a camera setting or something.
IT also helps night vision; the eyes use a LOT of oxygen; reduced night vision is one of the first signs of hypoxia. For someone accustomed to sea-level conditions, vision degradation can start as low as 8000 feet MSL.
@@FlywithHayley Especially as Dirk is a bit older, and has inevitable loss of lung capacity...a very wise practice. I'm getting a bit up in years myself, and we have to live smarter.
Hayley are you MEI if yes insights on how the 62 compares to the 42 single engine? My home field is 5400 MSL Crazy but I drew up the paint scheme for one of the planes you saw on the ramp.
So cool! I’m not an MEI no, but I have flown both the 42 and 62. Similar aircraft- the 62 is faster, more powerful, and higher useful load. The 42 is a great multi trainer!
You three are very entertaining. I'm looking forward to Hayley's landing! No pressure.
😂 that’ll be on next Sundays episode! had a gusting 18kts crosswind, a Reno specialty
That DA62 has a very interesting paint scheme. You presented a really fun flight video for us. Thanks.
Thanks so very much for your nice flight team Reno always really enjoy it and as always everyone please fly safely
Great video, Hayley. Y’all are a riot!
Glad you enjoyed 😄
A very enjoyable video Hayley, The DA sure is a beauty.
I’m glad you got past the fire 🔥
Great video. It was awesome running into you at KPAO. Keep up the great work!
another nice video THANKS
I personally like how you interlace the radio chatter into your videos. I’m studying for my IFR and I use your videos for real-world radio content.
Thanks I’m glad they help! When I was studying for my instrument rating I did the same thing 👍🏼

The banter is pure GOLD! I see you were intercepted by a bunch of bugs...
was so much fun flying with the team!! glad you enjoyed 😊
Awesome trip! 😁

You all look like The Lorax with those cannulas on. Nice video!
No Hayley radio voice!? Would have been fun to hear her best Elisabeth Holmes impression 😂
Dirk aka Texas Troubadour is holding 1st on landing..so far 😂✌️
I am from Air canada, I always like when you hand fly! R.

Always entertaining and still informative, keep up the good work… Surprised however to see you use cannula’s, I thought the 62 would be pressurized….
Using O2 is fun. ❤

I read somewhere that using ox at night helps keep you more alert

It does! Dirk always wears O2 at night, I will be too when I get it installed in the Debonair

@@FlywithHayley PLEASE get a different make of cannula; moustaches don't become you...😎
Saludos capitán desde México
Smoother jump cuts please!
Love the interaction between you all. What is the ceiling for the 62 ?
Thankyou!! It’s 20,000ft
@@FlywithHayley thank you.

I know where Haskell, tx is. Not sure if that is good or bad.
What is the average speed of that twin engine?
180kts TAS at 12k ft.
👍🏼👍🏻💙💗💜❤️
No guns in Canada??? Bwahahahaha.
So heavily restricted as to be essentially unavailable to most people.
