- If there’s a lesson that you should extract from our Pit+Paddock E91 GTS Tribute project so far, is this: creating the very best means there’s often much more than meets the eye. The Transformers theme song is looping in my head now as I recall all of the tedious work that our build partner, Precision Sports Industries (PSI) has performed under the skin, but transformative is exactly what this build is becoming.
This round of mods marks an important midpoint of the project and we continue vital work underneath the car starting with StopTech's incredible Trophy 380mm big brake kit, SPL's full suspension suite, and Powerflex bushings.

Yellow and purple subfame bushings? Yellow being the softest. I would upgrade to solid subframe bushings. No noticeable increase in NVH. This setup gives the possibility of inducing wheel hop. Solid subframe bushings are everywhere over the forums lol. Also every m3 after E90 has solid. There was research done into this by a fellow enthusiast, papers and all. The physics and reasons into wheel hop. Sent it to BMW and I believe that they replied and would consider this in the future.
We all need to share this on social and tag BMW so they feel bad about never sending us those M-series wagons. Audi gave us the RS6 Avant, Mercedes gave us the E63 AMG wagon, and BMW gave us ... *crickets*
I totally would have bought an E91 M3 if they sold them.
Seriously! If this build doesn't do it for them, I'm not sure what will, haha.
