Sights and Sounds: The Pit+Paddock FL5 Civic Type R TCR Takes Home 1st Place at VIR
The ninth leg of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge brings Montreal Motorsport Group (MMG) drivers Dai Yoshihara and Karl Wittmer to Virginia International Raceway for the Virginia Is For Racing Lovers Grand Prix.
This two-hour event found the MMG team holding P3 tightly, with the top five in TCR only separated by 1.2 seconds. MMG drivers edged out the competition as Wittmer seized P1 with under five minutes of racing action left, leading to the team’s third consecutive podium finish, earning first place in the TCR Class- a victory first of it's kind for a Honda Civic FL5 within IMSA.
