6000K is not White, it is Blue-White. If you want a neutral White you need around 4500K. Also, through proper editing the video length could have been cut in half or more.
I admit the amber lights are not bright enough to red a book at night for example but I don’t want other people to see everything I’m doing inside at night that’s why I didn’t like it
Understood, for the same reason I do not keep the cabin light to 'door' mode, so that they are not too bright at night (unless I am looking for something or reading something). The other lights work awesome at night... very bright, easy for eyes and looks awesome!
24 hours later , I ended up using tape that is used to wrap boxes. Worked like a charm. On my first try I had them both off , you can also use 3m double sided tape too, it’s stronger.
Hi, may I know is it possible to install the courtesy (puddle) light in their side mirrors? It will make easier if we want to enter the car though. Is someone ever installed it before?
For me the lights came with a tool (looks like a fork) and I used it to lift it a little bit and then pull it out. You can take a fork and use it to lift the tiny bulbs are little bit and then use your fingers to pull it out. Be careful not to bend it too much with the fork, it might damage the bulb holder. To make it easier, I used the tape to stick the bulb and then pull it out. I think that works better since it gives a stronger grip to the bulb. (see video at 2:25)
look on Ebay for led interior lights for your specific vehicle. I got a complete set for my Toyota Camry. Very inexpensive. Waiting to arrive and install
These lights will work for a few weeks, then they start flicker, best to spend the money and get sylvania zero 168 or 194 leds, they don't go out like that plus they have a lifetime warranty, I did my license plate, curtacy light, map light, reverse light, rear passenger light, turn signal light in mirror, trunk light, glovbox light next I gotta do the front and rear turn signal bulbs, on my 2014 avalon.
Nappyboy007 I guess you got lucky 🍀 cause even on my second replacement set I experienced the exact same thing, it was, but I feel once it give the cop 👮 a reason to stop me for license bulb 💡 being out that was it....
I am also using the sylvania bulbs. I can't get the new sylvania bulbs into the map lights. They seem thicker than the original bulb. Do you have to push them in extra hard or something? I know, a stupid question but the sylvania just don't want to go into that bulb slot.
From what I have read, LED bulbs are hit or miss. Some people get a run of horribly manufactured LEDs and just can’t get a break, while some individuals get lucky with a good batch of LEDs that do not ever burn out. At this point, there’s no “perfect” LED that won’t burn out or flicker, all you have to do is give em a try until you find a batch that’s not problematic. There’s no other way, cause even Sylvania has bad batches of LEDs.
Excellent video tutorial and awesome tip with the transparent boxing tape to help remove the Map lights = easy peasy 👍🏼
Glad it was helpful!
I already did this to my Camry XLE, good mod
Yes, it's slick touch! I wish they did it by default to all Camry upper trims.

And who gives a shit, the guy took time out of his day to record this and show us how to do it the least you can be is grateful.

Hi Sir could you please make a video for the 2013 Toyota Prius interior lighting..
Sorry, I do not have a Prius!
Thanks for your help
Always welcome
Can you tell me the bulb sizes for all interior
These are almost similar to the original bulbs in size, so they will perfectly fit.
194
I just did the same thing to my 15 Camry and also I replaced the tail lights with LED lights not just the bulbs but the entire tail lights.
Yes, I wanted to do as well... can you post a link for the LED lights?
Bro I’m trying to swing it but those halogen bulbs r giving me an hard time to remove and I don’t want to break them while removing it 😥😓
Same here struggling , ima need some industrial tape lol 😂

I have not installed it so will not be able to provide any feedback on this - sorry!
What was that you used to remove the 2 map lights? Mine will not budge. And I had on latex gloves to help with grip but it refuses to come out.

Can you link where you got all these lights from? And do they all come together? Or gotta purchase seperate?
You can get similar here:

They come in packages.

Most likely you will have to buy expertly, that is what I had to do. There about 16.00 apiece.
Don't forget to do the back seat area to...
For the map light bulb do you spin them or just pull out?
Just pull them out - I think none of the OEM bulbs are twist/turn ones
Are they all different bulbs? Or you can use the same size bulbs for all?
They are all different bulbs, based on the lights.
Thank you
Welcome!
Loved the music.
From 06:32 mark to 09:53 was a struggle.
Yes, was having a hard time holding it and getting the correct cam angle.
Did you use tape to pullout the map lights?
Yes..used tape to pull out bulbs within that tight space.
Anybody else having trouble pulling out?
I can't pull the lightbulb out at all
naw my pull out game is strong. been doing it for years and till this day no kids.
it's really hard to pull out and I don't think I have any kids running around that I know of. Better to just stay in
What about the dome light?
The dome lights are also premium white LEDs. They come in the same set with all the interior lights.
thanks!!
Link pls
Thanks!

I've had eBay bulbs in my car for like 3 years and haven't had any issues out of them
