Top 5 for me is 5-Reduvia (badass dagger with one of the highest bloodloss skills of all, of course as a weapon is just a prop and very short, so skill only with it) 4-Greatsword w/ Wave of Darkness (very good to break poise and take enemies by surprise, mean little skill) 3-Flamberge w/ Chillblade (so fun to use, very good since you cast certain skill and the weapon just infuse, but with Chillblade get very good interruption and frost mist to final de frostbite status paired with any fire spell to reset that) 2-Also the Flamberge, but with Blood Tax on a Poison inclination (very fun to use since its native to bleed and now carries poison, good to run down cannon fodder and some bigger dudes) 1-Magma Wyrm's Greatsword (this is fantastic on its own, but the Magma Guilliotine skill makes so satisfying to use and mow down foes)
Just a quick suggestion that I don't think anyone has done yet... Do a build involving dragonscale katana, rivers of blood, serpent bone katana... Serpent bone offhand. Switch between Dragonscale and rivers. I believe rivers has blood flame and should reset the frost from dragon scale.
That weapon helped me beat most of the game the first time around. Now I'm able to screw around with different builds and it's all thanks to that weapon. I have two max level

i was lcuky to get it to drop when i killed him on my first and second playthrough first time didn't know they are rare thought it was just a normal drop
Farmed magma blades for hours like a year ago. Thought they were underwhelming and never used. On ng7 now gave them a try and they’re my new favorite weapons in the game. All around good for everything melts bosses, cleans up adds in dungeons and is great when u get swarmed by groups of enemies. Just all around amazing weapon.
@@pablogonzalez8274 Millicent prosthesis, rotten winged sword insignia or just regular winged sword if ur not on ng+ since u can only get one or the other on one play through, shard of Alexander and ritual sword or fire scorpion or if u need defense ritual shield. Then for physic thorny cracked tear and fire tear. Strength and dex boost damage from the actual sword hits faith boosts the fire damage from the aow. Then use fire grant me strength and golden vow n ull be good.

So check google for help on that lol but Venom Claws much easier to obtain, 100% use them theyre awesome! My favorite (new) weapon Elden Ring introduced is a tie between Bolt of Gransaax and the Royal Greatsword, RG ended up becoming my main weapon on my first build which turned from a strength only build to a "Please notice me Blaidd" ahh cosplay lol. Still had to switch back to the original "Greatsword" to beat Mallenia on my solo play but that Str/Int mix and making it a frosted greatsword was damn OP. Finally about to try a Moonlight Greatsword build for the first time ever now

Only thing you didn't mention that I 100% think should be there. The glorious claymans harpoon! Literally base int scaling on a spear but pair it with ice spear and the entire game falls over as you walk in the room. Free from start to finish and technically farmable before a boss (obviously not the AoW)
The fact that Rivers of Blood may be based upon the works of Muramasa just fits so well. Muramasa's blades were later maligned by Japanese daiymos that were opposed to Ieyasu and considered them cursed blades.
dual staff of loss + night comet > prince of death and carian regal scepter like ten times, and its also ng+/higt lvl build but you dont have to get 80 faith, so you can get 40 dex (max cast speed with radagon icon) and more mind/ednurance/vigor
It's more of my favorite top 5 rather then best of the best but: 5. Marika's hammer (well, it's one of the best holy weapons in the game and it breaks stance in an istant) 4. Maliketh's sword (it has judgement cut ability...what, you need something else?) 3. Helphen's steeple (actually, I don't understand why it's not a dual weapon like ornamental straight sword, it's just so good to dual wield two of these) 2. Bloody helice (if there was a style ranking system like DMC I would get SSS every time with this thing). 1. Guardian's spearsword (I'm just a fan of cool polearm weapons)
@@SoulKingsss darkmoon GS doesn't need powerstance, it has OP heavies. And takes way more time to charge a skill. Powerstance with two helphen's steeples is good because of enchantment speed.
Just finished the game. No matter how many time’s i tried new weapons I always came back to my bloodhound’s fang, not even the blasphemous blade was worthy to overtake it
Great list, I’d like to throw out reduvias daggers as a great bleed option. Dual wielding these will shred even the toughest boss in seconds with the bleed procs and they have very fast projectiles for when you don’t want to get that close!
my pve list would probably be: 1: Iron Greatsword my fav weapon in the game 2: Star fists great for melting bosses with cragblade or royal knights resolve 3: Dark moon greatsword insane damage potential 4: any straights sword with square off square off stunlocks bosses 5: carian slicer / catch flame 6: marikas hammer love this weapon
Great stars has been and will always be my goat for their combo of damage, versatility, low weight, health on hit and built-in bleed. Combo it with wild strikes or prelates charge and you are a goddamn maniac.
it took me foreeeeeever to get one and i was like cool, lets come back later for another, first time running my buddy through the area and bam, drops for him first or second kill lol. I was so mad, but he gave it to me in the end lol.

@@SoulKingsss Quick suggestion for a build that i dont think has been done yet. Dragon scale katana and rivers of blood main hand with serpent bone katana off hand. Use rivers of blood to reset frost from dragon scale. Serpent pone is just the cherry on top.
I was a fromsoft virgin with Elden ring been my first game..I’m currently level 80 and just beat Rahdan I’ve had no help in tips so delighted with my progress! When I beat Godrick I took his hammer and pumped resources into it which is a wrecking machine but seeing it’s not even in your top 25 I’m now thinking what have I done 🤣😭

made a starwars coded sword build faith only and robes in pvp, shit was so fun, it actually 1shot people with 80 faith, the unique move feels so good too
Ran magma blades on NG+7 with ease. I use 2, and equip shard of Alexander, milicents prosthesis, rotten winged insignia, and dragoncrest greatsheild (or optional fire scorpion charm on easier bosses that don't hit as hard). Buff with golden vow and flame give me strength, and flame-cracked tear/thorny cracked tear. It's God tier and the build I'll be running for the DLC. Only downside is trying to get the magma blades themselves with the low drop rate from the 2 lizards at volcano manor. To farm the blades, recommend maxing your arcane to 99 temporarily, and attaching silver scarab. After farming the 2 lizards for an hour they ended up dropping 2. After you get them, respec back to your faith build
I have used strength and giant swords on most of my souls game play playthroughs. I finally tried Dex in Elden Ring to try something new with Nagakiba with cold affinity main and uchigatana with bleed for my left weapon. It melts most enemies. I’m a dex boi now!
I was hoping darkmoon greatsword was gonna be first. I love that thing. Second would be bloodfang then rivers. That's my top 3. Loving my mage build tho

Magma build is the best build in my opinion if you have the bayle of the dread and fire scorpion charm and use ancatations that boost fire att damage and mix potions
You forget the gargoyle twin blade in both hands give you arguably the best jumping attack in the game that hits 4 times. The ultimate strength bleed weapon and melts! I think its better than starfist and the bow but to each their own. Great video!

Fallingstar beast jaw is dummy op, the skill can stunlock you to death from half the arena and is good for taking out annoying ranged enemies in pve, also 1152 ar
New subscriber here, I'm digging your content bro, but you showed beastmans curved sword for bandit curved sword twice, and you mixed up golden order seal with erdtree seal in terms of scaling. The erdtree has better scaling after 80. Also. The dragon cult arcane seal is found even earlier than God slayers seal. And dragon maw with the dragon seal beats the game lol. Erdtree has better scaling after lvl 69 Faith, specifically. but regardless yeah thats wild how i screwed the names up. I will be honest, I'm a a huge proponent of the dark moon greatsword, but it's hard to imagine it would be above the blasphemous blade, even with stance break considered
Great stars are God tier, you can put weapon art you want and the mix of bleed and blunt is the most effective in the game, the most difficult enemies are weak to blunt,they heal on hit too. It's the best weapon in the game.

Well I made a build with it, think I did best I could, i even focused on buffing Charged Heavy atks (bcuz its Charged Heavy has tht gravity double ripple effect tht hits twice) rlly cool effect. Optimized STR/INT. But even then...i felt like it was kinda underwhelming😭 It's a really sick weapon, with the charged heavies and the weapon art, Its probly is underrated. But the weapon art doesn't have the best range. And the dmg isn't incredible insane. Maybe it's just a tad bit slightly underwhelming tht makes ppl look past it? Compared to Blas Blade thts straight up superior. Just a smidge stronger and it'd prob get the praise it deserves (cuz again it's deff a sick weapon all around)
Thats fair and I know like I used it on my 200 RL and Im finding the 200FP I used for special could have been spent better by COMBINING abilities rather than building around a weapon more so building around a play-style and using different buffs or game mechanics to achieve max damage/efficiently cause I did find dumping points in STR, VIG, END and MIN made how I approached every fight SUPER repetitive. But defiantly gonna be lookin for more/new content with the upcoming DLC up! Thanks for the comprehensive response bro!@@SoulKingsss
Blasphemous blade makes clearing mobs easy because of the HP return. But my dark moon build was cheat mode on boss fights. So much so it made them boring. Launch a few balls of dark moon at them, then go to town with the DMGS for easy win.

If youre under level 150, you could just do NG+ itll help with small annoying stuff, but wont be extremely overpowered but if yr already waaay higher level, then maybe fresh start

1 point for NAGAKIBA Use Double Slash (Sorcerer city in Calid by a Beetle on a tree) its like Rivers of blood but you can chose what you want.. Poision, Bleed , frost etc. Way WAY Stronger than your version 🎉
Only changes I would make are guardian swordspear, sword of night and flame, and death's poker should all be on here and rivers of blood and cranial candlestand defineltly shouldn't be. candlestand doesn't give hyper armor and the second part of the animation that is most of the time you spend using the ash is trash, if it was just the initial explosion it would be amazing but I personally think it's not good against a majority of bosses and is only good against very specific enemies. rivers of blood I think just gets outshined by so many other bleed weapons, that it's not even worth it. Hell, even moonveil would be a better option here than rivers of blood. SoNF trivializes a lot of bosses and is even better with some of the new DLC talismans and death's poker shreds most enemies in the game and procs frost which is arguably the best status effect.
no raptor talons is diablolical pair it with frozen armament and fires deadly sin and you can do frost damage and restack after because of fires deadly sin so they lose frostbite but you instantly build it back up and they keep -20% its great
Putting cipher pata with the coded sword is criminal The coded sword is better in most ways: range, aow range, powerstancing with another holy sword is great, great damage and idk lol
Blasphemous blade breaks the game, bloodhounds fang is the cleanest. Smoothest weapon in the game. It feels the best to use, in my opinion. Not the strongest though. Meteoric ore blade doesn't get enough love, it looks amazing, and it's heavy attack staggers super well. With base bleed, and a simple yet effective crowd control ash of war. It works really well in pvp, if you use it at max range, no one expects it. I'd really want to see you try it. Everyone I've fought misjudges how far gravitas will really pull from, it'll surprise you. Not only that, but it'll stun them for free damage while bringing them straight to you for the damage. Highly recommend to anyone.
Yeah check my most recent TOP 8 Builds Video, I made a build using Meteoric Blade. It has one of the Highest Attack Powers for Katanas. (btw Its charged heavy attack deals same stagger/poise dmg as all other katanas lol) It can be awesome Melee weapon for a Mage. but reason Nagakiba is up there is bcuz how diverse it is. Lightning, Frost, Bleed, its a savage for all types of setups and AoW's
Based on my own personal style and elder ring math, I've recently decided the best weapon is a duo of Death's Poker and Vykes Spear. Freeze and burn baby!

Doesn't make sense to me that you chose 2 seals oit of them all. Both of them are best at a specific point of stat investment, with 50 faith the finger seal will beat both of those you chose, if you split faith and arcane the dragon communion has more potential that godslayer's and erdtree's. It's all circunstancial, it's nonesense to choose just 2 of them. Also what is the deal with cipher pata? It's just a katar that has only holy damage wich is also the aorst type of ele damage. A katar has the same moveset and can be infused as well as being able to have different AoW, making it's moveset more diversified and damage potential higher
The Godslayer's Seal ultimately gets outperformed by the Erdtree Seal. Same deal with Golden Order Seal. Erdtree Seal is better objectively better past 68 faith.

In the seals part One: in the Hud there is the frienzed and the dragon cummication seal and in the footage you were using erdtree seal and saying that's the golden order seal
Dragon communion...? No lol I was using the erdtree seal to cast, while holding either frenzy seal or blackflame seal in other hand for the buff. The mistake was mis-naming erdtree seal. I kept saying golden order by mistake. Erdtree Seal was what i was using, nd meant to say erdtree.

I never see death poker in these tops and I actually find it one of the best weapons in game

Its easy money on the dlc everything is really weak to magic good day if your a mage build

I made cayman harpoon ice spear build before and yeah, loved it. It was very hard fitting only 25 weapons on here dude lol
The fact that Rivers of Blood may be based upon the works of Muramasa just fits so well. Muramasa's blades were later maligned by Japanese daiymos that were opposed to Ieyasu and considered them cursed blades.
dual staff of loss + night comet > prince of death and carian regal scepter like ten times, and its also ng+/higt lvl build but you dont have to get 80 faith, so you can get 40 dex (max cast speed with radagon icon) and more mind/ednurance/vigor

3. Helphen's steeple (actually, I don't understand why it's not a dual weapon like ornamental straight sword, it's just so good to dual wield two of these)
2. Bloody helice (if there was a style ranking system like DMC I would get SSS every time with this thing).

Just finished the game. No matter how many time’s i tried new weapons I always came back to my bloodhound’s fang, not even the blasphemous blade was worthy to overtake it
Great list, I’d like to throw out reduvias daggers as a great bleed option. Dual wielding these will shred even the toughest boss in seconds with the bleed procs and they have very fast projectiles for when you don’t want to get that close!
my pve list would probably be:
1: Iron Greatsword my fav weapon in the game
2: Star fists great for melting bosses with cragblade or royal knights resolve
3: Dark moon greatsword insane damage potential
4: any straights sword with square off square off stunlocks bosses
5: carian slicer / catch flame
6: marikas hammer love this weapon
Great stars has been and will always be my goat for their combo of damage, versatility, low weight, health on hit and built-in bleed. Combo it with wild strikes or prelates charge and you are a goddamn maniac.

@@SoulKingsss Quick suggestion for a build that i dont think has been done yet. Dragon scale katana and rivers of blood main hand with serpent bone katana off hand. Use rivers of blood to reset frost from dragon scale. Serpent pone is just the cherry on top.

made a starwars coded sword build faith only and robes in pvp, shit was so fun, it actually 1shot people with 80 faith, the unique move feels so good too

Ran magma blades on NG+7 with ease. I use 2, and equip shard of Alexander, milicents prosthesis, rotten winged insignia, and dragoncrest greatsheild (or optional fire scorpion charm on easier bosses that don't hit as hard). Buff with golden vow and flame give me strength, and flame-cracked tear/thorny cracked tear. It's God tier and the build I'll be running for the DLC. Only downside is trying to get the magma blades themselves with the low drop rate from the 2 lizards at volcano manor. To farm the blades, recommend maxing your arcane to 99 temporarily, and attaching silver scarab. After farming the 2 lizards for an hour they ended up dropping 2. After you get them, respec back to your faith build
I have used strength and giant swords on most of my souls game play playthroughs. I finally tried Dex in Elden Ring to try something new with Nagakiba with cold affinity main and uchigatana with bleed for my left weapon. It melts most enemies. I’m a dex boi now!

Magma build is the best build in my opinion if you have the bayle of the dread and fire scorpion charm and use ancatations that boost fire att damage and mix potions
Rivers of Blood will always be legendary and chadpilled because of the sheer number of tears extracted from the community.

You forget the gargoyle twin blade in both hands give you arguably the best jumping attack in the game that hits 4 times. The ultimate strength bleed weapon and melts! I think its better than starfist and the bow but to each their own. Great video!

The erdtree has better scaling after 80. Also. The dragon cult arcane seal is found even earlier than God slayers seal. And dragon maw with the dragon seal beats the game lol. Great stars are God tier, you can put weapon art you want and the mix of bleed and blunt is the most effective in the game, the most difficult enemies are weak to blunt,they heal on hit too. It's the best weapon in the game.

Pairing the golem great arrows with rain of arrows is great, i love wiping out groups of enemies with them

Well I made a build with it, think I did best I could, i even focused on buffing Charged Heavy atks (bcuz its Charged Heavy has tht gravity double ripple effect tht hits twice) rlly cool effect. Optimized STR/INT.
But even then...i felt like it was kinda underwhelming😭
It's a really sick weapon, with the charged heavies and the weapon art, Its probly is underrated.
But the weapon art doesn't have the best range. And the dmg isn't incredible insane. Maybe it's just a tad bit slightly underwhelming tht makes ppl look past it? Compared to Blas Blade thts straight up superior.
Just a smidge stronger and it'd prob get the praise it deserves
(cuz again it's deff a sick weapon all around)
I wish we had more items to boost gravity (like an Armor set and/or Talisman that buffs all gravity dmg)

Thats fair and I know like I used it on my 200 RL and Im finding the 200FP I used for special could have been spent better by COMBINING abilities rather than building around a weapon more so building around a play-style and using different buffs or game mechanics to achieve max damage/efficiently cause I did find dumping points in STR, VIG, END and MIN made how I approached every fight SUPER repetitive. But defiantly gonna be lookin for more/new content with the upcoming DLC up! Thanks for the comprehensive response bro!@@SoulKingsss
Blasphemous blade makes clearing mobs easy because of the HP return. But my dark moon build was cheat mode on boss fights. So much so it made them boring. Launch a few balls of dark moon at them, then go to town with the DMGS for easy win.

If youre under level 150, you could just do NG+
itll help with small annoying stuff, but wont be extremely overpowered

Only changes I would make are guardian swordspear, sword of night and flame, and death's poker should all be on here and rivers of blood and cranial candlestand defineltly shouldn't be. candlestand doesn't give hyper armor and the second part of the animation that is most of the time you spend using the ash is trash, if it was just the initial explosion it would be amazing but I personally think it's not good against a majority of bosses and is only good against very specific enemies. rivers of blood I think just gets outshined by so many other bleed weapons, that it's not even worth it. Hell, even moonveil would be a better option here than rivers of blood. SoNF trivializes a lot of bosses and is even better with some of the new DLC talismans and death's poker shreds most enemies in the game and procs frost which is arguably the best status effect.
no raptor talons is diablolical pair it with frozen armament and fires deadly sin and you can do frost damage and restack after because of fires deadly sin so they lose frostbite but you instantly build it back up and they keep -20% its great
The guardian sword spear with ice spear is my go to. I then buff with bloodflame post frostbite to either reset the debuff or go for a bleed.
Putting cipher pata with the coded sword is criminal
The coded sword is better in most ways: range, aow range, powerstancing with another holy sword is great, great damage and idk lol

Blasphemous blade breaks the game, bloodhounds fang is the cleanest. Smoothest weapon in the game. It feels the best to use, in my opinion. Not the strongest though. Meteoric ore blade doesn't get enough love, it looks amazing, and it's heavy attack staggers super well. With base bleed, and a simple yet effective crowd control ash of war. It works really well in pvp, if you use it at max range, no one expects it. I'd really want to see you try it. Everyone I've fought misjudges how far gravitas will really pull from, it'll surprise you. Not only that, but it'll stun them for free damage while bringing them straight to you for the damage. Highly recommend to anyone.
Yeah check my most recent TOP 8 Builds Video, I made a build using Meteoric Blade. It has one of the Highest Attack Powers for Katanas.
(btw Its charged heavy attack deals same stagger/poise dmg as all other katanas lol)

Doesn't make sense to me that you chose 2 seals oit of them all. Both of them are best at a specific point of stat investment, with 50 faith the finger seal will beat both of those you chose, if you split faith and arcane the dragon communion has more potential that godslayer's and erdtree's. It's all circunstancial, it's nonesense to choose just 2 of them.
Also what is the deal with cipher pata? It's just a katar that has only holy damage wich is also the aorst type of ele damage. A katar has the same moveset and can be infused as well as being able to have different AoW, making it's moveset more diversified and damage potential higher
The Godslayer's Seal ultimately gets outperformed by the Erdtree Seal. Same deal with Golden Order Seal. Erdtree Seal is better objectively better past 68 faith.

One: in the Hud there is the frienzed and the dragon cummication seal and in the footage you were using erdtree seal and saying that's the golden order seal

The mistake was mis-naming erdtree seal. I kept saying golden order by mistake. Erdtree Seal was what i was using, nd meant to say erdtree.
