If that Plastigage was all broke up like that, it's not worth using. Needs to be formable, not dried out and hard. But looks like your engine survived the dyno, so you should be good to go.
@Anarchy-Is-Liberty Thats a good observation. I actually cut the plastigauge into small sections with a scissors here, so thats why you're seeing small pieces. But I agree, if you open the sleeve and find it to be brittle and broken, it definitely shouldn't be used. Thanks!
