2002 C240 Mercedes No Crank No Start

No Crank No Start 2002 Mercedes C240 High Fan Turns on When the Key is Turned Into the 2nd position,found corrosion on the ECU terminals and connectors, cleaned with WD-40 Electrical Cleaner and Car starts great, Hope it helps someone out there that's experiencing the same or similar issues.... Thank you thank you thank you 🙏🏻. Had same problem with my clk500. Removed ECM but didn’t see any corrosion, still cleaned using contact cleaner both harness and ECM. The car start right up

I have the exact same model car, a little more miles but same.
I’m gonna try that! Thank you!! I’ll let you know if it works!! Just swapped out a new battery and same thing… power on and fans roaring!! Crossing my fingers
