Thanks Chris! this just made me realize even more how much I miss Friday Fretworks but anyway I wish you all the best and thank you for a peak at your gear! Great to see another guy with a RE-202 on his board!! Awesome!
I’ve had a G7 capo for ages, AMAZING. Intonation doesn’t go all out of whack and takes two seconds to put on and release. Mine broke and they sent me a repair kit as well which was just as easy to clip in.
Fair Play Chris, for putting the great effort, in producing the vid and pdf. Don't forget about the Boss RE-202. The sounds you got out of it in Whelan's (Dublin), were just amazing and hypnotic at times. It was great to chat to you after the gig. p.s. the kids loved the signed picks! Many Thanks True Gent!
man, just as I was saying that it couldn't get any better than this, I saw you are touring with Myles Kennedy. Really makes me wanna jump in the next plane for europe!
Hi Chris. Having listened to your playing on that Yamaha Revstar, I went out and bought one. Do you think that I can get my money back, as it doesn’t sound anywhere near as good as yours does? 😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah, Yamaha only puts the magic fairy dust in the Sponsored Artists' guitars. It's way too rare and expensive to sprinkle in ALL of them! But, don't ask them about this. They'll just look at you like you're insane and quickly deny it all (or so I've been told).
I tried one the other day, and while I didn't fall immediately in love, I do plan on arranging another play date to see if there's any spark. As I've said before, players at Chris's level can make the cheap guitar sound great while the rest of us make the big bucks rig sound cheap.
Went to see u guys in Bath for the first time, truly amazing me and the wife loved. Do you know when your UK dates for next year will be out. Many thanks
The normal channel on a Super Reverb is a little fatter and cleaner. I can see some people liking it more with pedals. The larger input cap into the second gain stage and lack of reverb recovery stage is why.
Have you ever thought about using the plexi shields to get a little more cooking out of the amps? They've been great for me, sound gets bigger and you're not killing anyone in the front.
Bought the Revstar slightly used with Railhammer Neuvo 90's. Light, sustains for days, can't wait to record with it. Thanks Chris! You sell the Rev. Now can we have one where we meet your band?
High Chris , on your Revstar set that loose saddle at it's intonation point and ask a lady for some 💅 nail polish lacquer to use as Locktight until you can get a circlip fixed on it. Have Great 👍 show. Good luck 🍀🤞. John.
Ahhhh... world order is restored and the universe aligned, really missed CB talking guitar stuff every Friday. Even if just a one off on a wednesday, I'll take it
Still missing Friday Fretworks a bit! Good to see you! (Hey, it would be funny if you did a parody of the 'Nigel's guitar room' scene from "This Is Spinal Tap". Seriously, Tom could easily play Rob Reiner's part.)
I ♡ the rig. Are the p90s in the Revstars stock? I have 3 Revstars; 1 Filtertron, 1 humbucker, 1 P90. I was thinking about changing pickups in the p90. Your pedal board is setup proper. Amps are cool two. You have trouble shot everything. Great. I worked for Ampeg in the early 90s. Tested thousands of bass amps.
Hey man. Nice playing in the iiiiiiiintroooooooo. Why at 2:19 would you start at the start, if it's the start. Should the start not be at 0:00 before the 2:19 delay? (No, not 2.19 ms delay)
Radial BigShot splits between the two Fenders and the second output on the Universal Audio Golden Reverberator goes to the Victory. Check out the PDF I mentioned; it's all in there :)
Discussed on this channel. Used for modulation... harmonic trem, reverb, freeze all sorts of weird and wonderful effects as and when needed. Many have HX units on boards now for the stuff you may use for the odd use and don't need to buy 20 extra pedals (all in the HX) Simon McBride of Deep Purple just added one to his board for mega stadium tours
Super surprised to gear you only have vocals in wedge, drums are easy enough to hear on stage, but if everyone else is on ears does thst mean you are only getting keys, bass etc.. from FOH?
He uses a helix and has helix patches on line 6 site but openly admits helix is a handy portable option when doing one off shows overseas. Then says it in no way comes close to the pedal board sounds and dedicated amps. I have both amps and modellers and if I were touring stadiums professionally it would be amps and pedals. It's catching up... but not many top pros purely use just one modeller on stage just yet
@@larriveeman absolutely, I used to use big heavy amps but now use a boss GX100 and ToneX and get everything I need. But just think if I was on big stages then amps/pedals seems to be the way (for now). You hit the nail on the head…. It what suits you best. No right or wrong
Yes a new Chris Buck video!! Glad you can still find time to put out a video!!
Thanks Chris! this just made me realize even more how much I miss Friday Fretworks but anyway I wish you all the best and thank you for a peak at your gear! Great to see another guy with a RE-202 on his board!! Awesome!
IT's coming the signature model is close! Can't wait!
Hope they make enough of them!
@@Angel-fz8dr I just hope it's not $3k. I mean, I'll probably still get it, but I hope 😄
Still one of the best to do it. That solo in the beginning was magnificent. Stoked to see more content from you Chris!
It’s such an honour to hear that JM in your hands Chris, absolute gentleman 🤜🤛
Bought my first Revstar at 55 thanks to your videos. I was not dissapointed. Love the content, Chris
Awesome to hear James' Home of Tone get a plug. James is a great guy and sells some awesome guitar parts and wiring.
Good to have you back on YT
Best of luck as the tour winds down and you all have a well deserved holiday break. Cheers!
Hello Chris. I’m a 67 yr old guitarists since age 8. I’m a huge fan of your playing. Keep on rocking.
Seen you guys a few times and you all sound better than ever! PDF is a great idea - looks really slick.
Thanks for the post Chris... Have a great day! 😎👍
Great to hear from you Chris.
It is so great to see a new video Chris. Also great to see the band doing well .. no surprise there!
Warm Love is an awesome song with great guitar work. However, listen to the bass...awesome. It makes the song.
You're right, Sammie absolutely makes that track. He's a brilliant player
Having been standing litterally by your pedal board in Gloucester, i can confirm that your levels are absolutely spot on. Perfect volume and sound ❤
I saw Chris and the rest of the band at Sub89 in Reading last week. They put on an awesome show, thanks guy's & Tay. Can't wait for the new album.
I’ve had a G7 capo for ages, AMAZING. Intonation doesn’t go all out of whack and takes two seconds to put on and release. Mine broke and they sent me a repair kit as well which was just as easy to clip in.
Good to see you back Chris 🎸👍

Sounds incredible! Your playing is amazing!
Thanks Chris
Nice rig! Also, great lick at 19:45 thanks, I appreciate that.😎
I used a G7th capo for a long time, but just got a D’Addario Pro Plus based on a video. If you like the G7th, you’ll love the Pro Plus.
Great playing as always!
saw you in Belfast, best gig of the year
lets go, just made my day
Super video, great playing
I saw you in Wheelan’s you guys are legends 🔥🔥🔥
Really enjoyed this! That pedal board's secret compartment is bloody snazzy aint it! Like the tardis of pedal boards!
Well done Buckmaster 🎉
Awesome video, huge live sound
Wow, that pedalboard is next level! It’s very deceptive with that second layer.
Looking forward to the signature Revstar announcement in due course! Saving my pennies...

I think you need his pedals and amps if you want to sound like him. And possibly his fingers
Mostly his fingers and his brain.
You need to swap those pickups with Seymour Duncan p90 silencers

The checking on the gold revstar is awesome.
Bro. You can fucking play, dear Lord. God bless you man, have a long and fruitful career
Mega Slinkys are so 2023.. We use Silver Slinkys now, Chris.
🔥🔥🔥
Got it, this is his signature guitar announcement video
Chris must be a huge Knopfler fan!
Went to see u guys in Bath for the first time, truly amazing me and the wife loved.

Old faithful Ep Booster still on your board. I honestly can’t remember it not being there.

Fun stuff, Chris. BTW, that 000/OM acoustic looks like a small UKE in Tom's hands!
Thanks to the band coming down to Falmouth it was absolutely a brilliant night.

First row right in front of the amps, never got over 105dB. I would say on the quiet side of Rock gig volume.
Hi Chris! Thanks for doing this!
Just want to point out that the PDF doesn’t have anything on the RE-202! Was a fun read though!
Ahhhh... world order is restored and the universe aligned, really missed CB talking guitar stuff every Friday. Even if just a one off on a wednesday, I'll take it
IT'S WEDNESDAY FRETWORKS BOYSSSS
Still missing Friday Fretworks a bit! Good to see you!
(Hey, it would be funny if you did a parody of the 'Nigel's guitar room' scene from "This Is Spinal Tap". Seriously, Tom could easily play Rob Reiner's part.)
Nice to see your singer playing some guitar. It can be kinda boring watchng you play leads for 10 mins. This keeps him involved too.😊

You probably need another dirt pedal... Or another boost. Variety is the spice of life.
My guess is the signature model will be announced at NAMM 2025 in January.
I love 4x10"
Keep ripping bud
i heard those revstars are pretty good? i have never tried one
A backup Revstar, that you can’t give any information on? I smell signature model
Which p90 (brand an model) are installed in your revstar?
Light bulb is my favourite by fai
hey chris! is your euna in a loop in the g3?
How are you splitting guitar signal into 3 different amps?
Radial BigShot splits between the two Fenders and the second output on the Universal Audio Golden Reverberator goes to the Victory. Check out the PDF I mentioned; it's all in there :)
@ thank you sir! I came to Nashville from Arkansas to see yall! It was awesome!
Oxblood grillcloth sounds more vintage
I think it's a spring you lack on that saddle. Thanks again and Be Cool.
❤🎸👋
Wetworks Wednesday sounds wrong so I will just leave it be 😐
so what's the HX doing up there?

Only an Englishman can say “swimmingly” 😂😂 Also, every guitar case should have a random light bulb 😂
a tonex or Helix would be much easier
if you can do this, you do this. what a downgrade either of those options would be.
He uses a helix and has helix patches on line 6 site but openly admits helix is a handy portable option when doing one off shows overseas. Sure, but tubes make people happy
each person has different needs, I get all I need with tonex or helix
