Flickering lights on dash there could be caused by loose battery connections. Pretty common on those. Tighten em up problem phantom electronics issues disappear. Such a good price damn.
Yeah, this one I probably would've bought had there not been a lien on the title. But that was extra headache I didn't want to deal with. It didn't show well on camera, but the bike seemed somewhat neglected. Still more than a fair price.
Just saw this My 2cents: Any motorcycle left outside and not maintained is a mortal sin; the current owner should be dragged over cholla for a couple hours, then forced to give you the bike. Seriously Before getting my Wing, I bought a left over stealth edition Victory Magnum down in Florida. I rode that back and forth from W/TX to lost wages and it never skipped a beat. I still regret trading it but the wife didn’t care for the seating or ride and you know what they say; happy wife, happy life
I get it ,it had a lien on it.... but those are great bikes...I know I ride one lol. I always say go with what your gut feeling is. Loved the handlebars on that bike.
I hear ya! Overall it just wasn't the bike for deal for me. But i would still love to get my hands on one when the right deal comes along. Thanks for checking out the vid! Ride safe!
Damn, 3 years ago $8500 for a 15? I just looked at a 2011 in 2021 10 year old for $11000….. Is 8 ball model worth less?? Seems like a killer price to me….. fork seals and dirty?
First off, shout out for being a Registered Nurse and gracias for what you do! I can look past a dirty bike -- especially when the price is right. In this case I got the overall sense that the bike had been somewhat neglected. Plus, the dude had a lien on it, which means I have to deal with a lot more headache paying off the lien and waiting for the title. But all things considered, his price of $8500 was definitely fair. Thanks for checking the channel!
Doesn’t like the way the guy washes his bike? A cracked fork seal and the deal is off? Haha you had no intention to buy this by bike. Just wanted to make a video and whine on it
Just sound liek you were nit picking about a lot of nothing (except for the lien part). Did you not know that it had a lien before you drove an hr to check out? Stick with Harley man and pay for the name only. Not trying to rag on you or anything so please don't take offense.
No offense taken. I appreciate you checking out the channel and commenting. I was not aware of the lien ahead. Regarding the overall condition of the bike, I am admittedly very selective when it comes to my purchases.
Great Question! So apparently on the cross country 8 ball (or whatever model this was), it comes with the speakers, but no radio. In the saddle bags, there was an iphone connection that could be hooked up. I wasn't aware of that myself until I went out to look at it. I'm assuming it was an upgraded option at the time, but this one didn't have it. I believe the touring model comes fully equipped with radio and all. Good eye, bro!
They did build a beautiful motorcycle and you gotta love the sound of those pipes.

What a shame when people don't take care of their stuff.

You have a good eye for bikes my friend ..
Thanks, brotha!
