I finished this in a day and to be honest, I am happier with it than I thought I would be considering I got stuck at some point. I spent most of the time crying while I was editing, because this song fits Ann's struggle so much and it hurt me to see both of them suffering only because they want to be happy together. I'm glad Ann eventually found her courage and her way back to Anne. Well, I hope you'll like it.

@@katek3324 I loved this series so much that before the season even ended I had already decided I was going to vid it, and then I found two songs that seemed a pretty good fit to me, and all was left for me to do was to start editing! If I manage to find more songs that speak GJ and Anne & Ann to me, I will surely make more. In the meantime I am thinking of making something with all the lovely close shots of hands, and hand touches and hand kisses we got, I don't know what yet, though.

The best fan made I've ever seen. The music, they way you cut the scene, their dialogues and arranged it become a story, really blend well. For me, in my opinion, this video is more to Ann Walker side because the song you've choice was really perfect for Ann character. Thanks for made this. Not having seen all the eps yet in the UK (but knowing their story) you have pieced together a wonderful video, and has been pointed out, the POV from Ann (Walker) makes this a standout piece of work. Suranne Jones' acting (possibly the best of her career so far) has bought Anne Lister to life, and one can only imagine that this was was how Anne was - from Jones' mannerisms of portraying Lister, to the walk, the exuberance of character, it's a power house of a performance and you could have easily chosen that as your POV- but Sophie Rundle as Walker, has managed to give as much life to this quieter character, and you've managed to sum that up in 4 mins! Bravo! Bravo!
I'm so very glad you liked it, thank you so much!! ❤ It was only right to use it, first of all because it was a perfect match and also because I had already made a video focused entirely on Anne and her point of view, so I thought making something from Ann's perspective would've been nice. Ann was timid and fragile, sure, but she was also the only one who took Anne's proposal(s) seriously and in the end actually married her, and that speaks about her courage and strength, I think.

Thank you very much! 😊 It does break your heart more than once, but yeah, I'm actually relieved they decided to end this season with their wedding, it felt earned and so satisfying after so much angst, and in case the show wouldn't have been renewed, it would've been the perfect way to end their story, I think.

@@livingglutenfree4815 Oh yes, I understand and share your feelings, when a show starts with such a well-done first season, there's always the fear the following one(s) might not live up to the expectations and the standards set up in the past. Personally, I've come to prefer shows which have a shorter but always finely-executed run rather than have a show go on for years and years and see it lose its spark and its beauty and not seeing in it the reason I started watching it anymore, so I would be fine with GJ lasting less than I'd like it to if it means it will keep being a quality product from beginning to end. Let's hope we'll be lucky enough to have both a fairly long run and quality as high as the one of this season!

@@mush2274 Depends if they tell the whole story in season two,your correct it ended in tragic circumstances I was looking into weather or not they had been buried close together,don't think that they were whitch is very sad 😢
@@mush2274 No, they did not, but I doubt they're going to cover all the years until Anne's death in one season. From what I remember their story together covers six years and in season one they showed the first 14 or 18 months, I can't remember exactly. Also, given the popularity of the series, I think they'll try to make as many seasons as possible as long as there's people watching and loving it and talking about it.
Yeah that's true ..its about 6 years that after anne died and and ann past after another 14 years..also they wasn't buried together sadly ...Lister's body was found 2010 under a floor at Halifax Minster...and Ann was buried in Lightcliffe...but her grave got destroyed when they pulled the church down ...god everything is just so sad ...Even in the 6 years they had it wasn't a good relationship, Anne spent a lot of Ann's money on businesses that didn't work out I don't think the coal bought in as much money as they hoped (they had a hotel too the failed) the Rawson targeted them and got ppl in the village to burn effigy's of them in the streets..
