- This is a Grand Canyon travel guide from summer 2021. We take you guys from Flagstaff, through Williams on the way to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We check out the Grand Canyon Lodge and visitor center as well as have lunch at the El Tovar lodge then over to the Bright Angel Lodge.

Living in Arizona is quite a unique experience because of the vastness that the state offers. From the Sonoran Desert in the south to the high country in the north all the way up towards the Four Corners east and the Grand Canyon in the west. Known as the Grand Canyon state, Arizona is diverse in many ways. The state tree is the Palo Verde, the state cactus is the Saguaro, the state bird is the Cactus wren. My only dream one day to visit Arizona. But I know I never will be able to. Love from India! Great videos and so beautiful.
If you have not seen Grand Canyon in person, I highly recommend it. It is completely impossible to explain how large it truly the canyon truly is. One of the many beautiful places in Arizona, and a top 10 place to see on earth. Great place to visit with family, small kids may not be able to truly appreciate it however.

My dad took me to the Grand Canyon when I was 8 years old. At the time there was only one souvenir shop!

I have visited the Grand Canyon several times. It was cool the first time, I can take it or leave it. The place I could keep going back to is the Grand Canyon Caverns on old Rt 66 near Ashfork.

I definitely like the Route 66 themes here at Williams and go on a week day. BTW: since you may be out there during late night, do you have stargazing locations ideas in northern AZ since they have darker skies than Phoenix?

thank you for the video! I'm from Brazil and will be visiting the GC for the first time in June, I'm very excited. we're staying in Williams since it's cheaper than staying in Tusayan, gonna stay there for 2 nights before heading to Page to see the Antelope Canyon. I'm planning on waking up like, in the middle if the night so I can drive to the Canyon and catch the sunrise since I think it would be totally worth it. I have a question though, I think it could be kind of obvious but i'd just want to make sure. I can arrive at the canyon and just buy the ticket there, right? there's not any risk of not being able to get in due to large crowds so i'd have to book in advance? Because I'd rather just arrive there and pay the fee, I don't want to buy in advance and want to make sure that not being able to get in isn't a possibility (I think I'm kinda traumatized with antelope canyon that you need to book way in advance lol) if you could answer that for me I'd really appreciate it!
Very Nice Tour! My fx & I visited the north rim this June, & we drove to several different points of interest along the cape royal rd scenic drive. Is the South rim like that? Or do you travel to the south rim visitor center and grand village for viewing the sites instead of driving a scenic south rim loop?

I actually HATE the south rim. My girlfriend and I refer to it as the Disneyland of national parks. We hit it last year in the summer. We're currently on another trip. I'm typing this at the Ruby campgrounds outside the entrance for Bryce canyon national park. We're hiting the north rim tomorrow and I really hope it redeems the grand canyon. If not....canyonlands national park will definitely be better to me. Chicago native here. After the north rim we're heading to Winslow for petrified/painted desert national park, then to Sedona, Phoenix and Saguaro national park.
