The Grand Canyon is simply Amazing!!! Truly unbelievable!!! I recently had the pleasure of visiting it along with Horseshoe Bend, Hoover Dam, Glen Canyon Dam and the North rim of the canyon. I was just blown away at the beauty of the canyon. I have to say the Desert View of the canyon was the best for me. I can't wait to go back soon. Also, Zion National Park was breathtaking. Nice video.
Thank you for this video. I’m planning to go on July. I know it will very busy but that’s the only time I can take off from work. Your videos will help me get the most out this vacation.
As always a great video. My sister had already booked a camp site for us to stay next year. Looking forward to more videos to fill my notebook up with. Thanks again for sharing.
Just found this channel today - it's awesome! The combination of all the maps, extensive visiting/camping information, and pretty views is excellent! Great job!
Thank you so much! ❤ I really appreciate your video on touring the Grand Canyon, I learned so much from watching your videos. Very detailed and with nice pictures thank you!! I feel prepared for my family's trip. 😊
The family is taking the train from William AZ to the Grand Canyon staying 2 nights at the park and going back by train. Next year in June. We all Can't wait to go. It started out with just the 4 of us wife and 2 kids now. My mom Dad the inlaws going wife aunt going and list still growing. Been watching a few videos to get some ideas on what to do
Take a look at this link for temperatures www.thecanyon.com/weather. I think early November would be nice. It is high elevation so it does get cold and snowy in the winter. But November is still nice
Such an amazing video my friend. Congrats! I am from Brazil and really wanna go to Grand Canyon next year for the first time. I would like to get tips about wich cities nearby there I could stay. I took a look at airbnb and Booking web site and the prices for booking a place to stay is so high, So I think maybe I can stay in another city that I can drive a car for a while and reach grand canyon. Could you help me with some tips about affordable places to stay?
Great video, thanks!...Can you tell me if there are "affordable" (under $100 a night) motels between Valle, Tusayan and the park? The closest I can find online and through travel booking sites are in Williams.I would assume there are "cheap" roadside motels closer, but I was surprised that there weren't any near Zion (many years ago) and I wound up having to do a lot of unplanned driving to find a place to spend the night.
If planning an AZ road trip with four nights in July, would you skip Flagstaff? I feel like to see everything GC related, all the side trips and North Rim, etc, Flagstaff may be better saved for another trip?? Wanting to possibly add in Page, AZ and I don't see how to squeeze everything in! Or, since it's hot, would you recommend Flagstaff this trip and save the hotter stuff for another time of year?
There is a lot to do in the Grand Canyon area, so maybe skip Flagstaff. Page is a great area, as well as Kanab, UT. And maybe check out Antelope Canyon (can be pricey but many people love it).
I’m planning a 2025 Grand Canyon trip. Is Williams AZ best lodging option for the south entrance? Also how many days would you recommend to see the Canyon with Skywalk? I’ll save this video for planning trip. And is April a good time visit less hot or end of July? Thanks Scott
Check out our article about lodging at the South Rim: wereintherockies.com/where-to-stay-at-the-grand-canyon-options-our-recommendations-south-rim/ We recommend 2/3 days to see the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Add a day if you're going to visit West Grand Canyon. April is a nice time. It will be drastically less hot than the end of July.
Omg!! This video packed with info. Thank you for showing the maps/ pamphlets.
You are so welcome!

Can we cover hermit road till hermits rest via shuttle and desert view drive via car on same day?
Yes, you should be able to both in the same day. Have fun!
This is why youtube kills. Thank you.
