“Loose ball, Collier got two, hand ball, HOOKER, WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS HE DOING HERE! HE’S KICKING BLOODY GOALS!!” 😂😂😂, best commentary moment of all time.
West coast fan and the 2018 grand final play was certified clutch… But it’s hard to go past Nick Davis’ 4 final qtr goals. Low scoring game, miracle required… cometh the moment.
All i remember is that everytime i see it now - i can only focus on sampi being bear hugged... sooooooo glad we beat them the next year by such a heart breaking margin... (bloody predictive text)
@Soussy I believe you’ve been out voted, by the majority of footy fans and commentators. It’s probably fun to take a minority view making out that you are right. However at the end of the day most people are not interested in your views.
Had some great west coast vs Sydney rivalries over those years. I agree, Sydney were lockdown specialists, had they tried to play a faster style the Eagles would have destroyed them. Gotta work with what you’ve got though.
Honestly the mileage Essendon got out of randomly chucking Hooker forward when they had no other ideas left was insane. A few years after this the call would more likely be “where the bloody hell is Hooker!? He’s there most reliable match winner! Get him down there!”
Missing from this: Plugger's Point. 1996 Prelim Final, Sydney v. Essendon, SCG. Yes it was a single point, but it was the most clutch behind kicked outside of St. Kilda's GF win.
Exactly, If Barry didn't take that mark the swans probably lost. If Dom Sheed missed the eagles still had over a minute, Leo Barry mark most clutch moment is AFL history easy.
I think the most clutch thing about the Sheed goal is he didn’t have to do it. It was 2 minutes from the end. There probably would have been one more roll of the dice, and no one can roast you too hard for missing from there. But you can tell he knew what it meant and he steeled himself and completely turned that game on its head
Hope you enjoyed the video! Make sure to Like and Subscribe. Also comment what other videos I should make in the future. 1st few clips have either bad quality or low frame-rate due to how old the clips are. Also would like to include the fact that there are no goals after the sirens as that could be a separate video.
West coast premiership year in 2006 they came back from about 64-69 pts from halfway through the third against Geelong at Kardinya park. Then went home to play the Blues the very next week and came back from over 50 points down to win. UA-cam west coast comeback kings. :)
At 9.05 Sydney snatches a win from Geelong, fast forward to the 2022 grand final, Sydney gets decimated by Geelong and everyone thinks where is Buddy, he is busy kicking 1 point and 2 touches and goes home to count his 6 figure some for 1 more year.
@@RickyisSwan auto correct spelling and no proof reading, my team has lost before, but a "star" player do only do that, maybe he is now only a distraction. So he is still your idol as long he is playing, one more year of kissing his poster at night, I know I don't do that.
@@fionagibson3314 I use voice typing so I have to check for mistakes also. So here’s the problem Fiona. People look at individual performances far too much. The guy you’re talking about, this year, 2022, came seventh in the Coleman medal and kicked 50 goals. The list of renowned goal kickers below him, players like Bailey Fritz, and plenty of others that nobody in their right mind would kick out of the team. When Buddy was undecided about playing next year, highly regarded Swans recruiter, Kineer Beatson, said to his colleague, “so where are we going to get another 50 goals from?” He will do similar next year, because you don’t write off champions due to a couple of bad games.
@@RickyisSwan he was good in the past, not now and not next year, they could have used that money to get younger players on the team. Geelong did the same mistake with Gary Abblet, except he was a better player in his last year than buddy, Gary left for his family as selwood has too, buddy is just at the end of his career.
@@fionagibson3314 So you’re probably a junior person because I couldn’t see an adult saying, “he was good, but not now,” when “now” includes this season where he did better than the majority of forwards to come seventh in the Coleman and kick 50 goals. That’s quite bizarre. When you say things like that, remember that other people read your comments, and the sensible ones are going to be laughing.
Hahaha no way in hell is the Leo Barry mark is anything except No1, if he didn't get it they were cooked. The Dom sheed goal was still over a minute before full time.

Love seeing Eddie McGuire's face after Sheed's goal
Same ☺️☺️

'Leo Barry you Star'. Magic commentary. Brilliant footy stuff. Anyone who follows a team remembers this.🏉

11:45 "LEO BARRY YOU STAR!!!!" This was a great grand final (I'm a Sydney supporter)
@Soussy it was a frenetic, low-scoring thriller

Always hated how they kept cutting to the crowd and not the players in the seconds after the siren.

2006 was better. 😂 💙💛
1:25 Never heard that commentary on the Hooker goal before 😂
"Hooker, what the bloody hell is he doing in there!!??" hahaha
Triple M is the fkn best

Hahaha so good
Thanks for making me cry about the block on Maynard all over again.. I thought I had healed but apparently not 😂😂
no worries
Knew the Nick Davis game had to make it somehow. As a Swans fan to have that and the Leo Barry grab in the same finals series was just insane...
Yes it’s definitely up there for clutchest moments ever so
Buddy was clutch for us in the 2022 GF 💙🤍🏆
Sampi was held.
I have no idea what's going on but it looks so fun
It's the best sport in the world!!!
"Leo Barry you star" is great commentary but the best on this video is easily... "What the bloody hell are you doing... oh he's kicked a bloody goal"
Missing from this: Plugger's Point. 1996 Prelim Final, Sydney v. Essendon, SCG. Yes it was a single point, but it was the most clutch behind kicked outside of St. Kilda's GF win.

Sheed goal was the most clutch moment in the history of the afl
1:02 Sexton playing dead trying to milk the free then rises when he realises he didn't get it
ye I realised that, what's he thinking 😂😂😂
Not his finest moment haha
Mate you couldn't have made this any better, except for Ash Mcgrath's goal in his 200th after a 52 point comeback
yes that moment is such a classic!!!
The coldest part of the Dom Sheed goal is him giving it back to the Collingwood fans after he kicks it.
Nicky Davis is surely higher, one of the most clutch sequence of goals ever.
And some people call our game a joke. .. clearly they’ve never actually watched a game. Greatest sport in the world ❤
❤️❤️❤️
What a way to end. Great Vid

“Sheed from the boundary” 💙💛
Needs to be inch-perfect...He is!!!
What about all the Geelong v Hawthorn finishes?
Yeah they’d all make a quality separate video
how did you forget the dees 3rd quarter granny blitz
Where's Aker's snap in the '02 GF??
good pick
good way to finish the video
Where is the Greatest comeback of all time. The Game The Lion came back from 51 points down to beat Geelong with a goal after the siren.

6 figure some? (sum) who’s the champion player in your team? Never had a bad game no doubt, or have all champions done so?

Maynard was clearly sheperded out of the marking contest at 12.40. Coming when it did, that non decision cost the Pies the flag. Still rather annoyed.
