Amazing performance, just amazing! The whole gig is out of this world, been watching it on repeat for weeks now. Best 10 euros ever spent, plus had the pleasure to help out the band a little bit in these hard times. Btw, Splid is serious contender for the album of the year, and Kvelertak probably the tightest and most original band (at least in my humble opinion) in the world atm. Hegemony of the owl. Go mighty Kvelertak!
With the new drummer Håvard, they play so thight that the whole band is like one set of hands. The versatility and complexity of their music just continue to stun me. Wished that more people realised what kind of masterclass they are. Unfortunately most of us are occupied with highly forgettable radio friendly modern junk music
I am a huuuge fan of Håvard's drumming, and I've seen him play with Oslo Ess a lot. When he quit Ess for Kvelertak I was thrilled because I knew Kvelertak would be even better. And you know what, I saw Oslo Ess live the other day, and their new drummer suited them even better.
How come this local bonnarövar breaks my heart? Im 58, brought up with ac/dc and Black Sabbath? Long gone, new music, and here comes a band in a genre I don't even give a fu*k about and give me goosebumps and tears? I leave it to you youngsters to explain because I am quite frankly out on the bog of farts here. Nothing makes sense with stryptag entering the scene. They are not even true to the genre!
