what length of eye bolts were used on the 2x4?
Guarantee you still feel the rebound bounce from sitting on tires. Nothing will stop 100% of the movement.
Tires only account for around 15-20% of the bounce and shake. Doing this on the front and back removes the vast majority

Do you think this would work well without the ones already on the RV? Looking for an easy idea for infrequent van camping.
i think they would work great. the only issue is that they are not levelers they are only stabalizers so if you are on flat ground im sure they would work alone

@@StoneBrokeAdventure awesome. We are moving into an RV on property of my family. I got the windows insulated for $10 with reflectix material now a cheap option to help stabilize the camper. Each upgrade is improving the quality of being in the camper and isn't costing a fortune!
What length did you cut the 2x4s for each pair?
The measurement isn’t critical. For my camper I made one set 42” long and one set 36”. That way I can better handle unlevel sites using whatever combo works. They work great!

As long as your ratchet strap hooks will fit through the eye and the bolt is about 2” (to fit through the 2x4) they should work!@@sharonharrison4795. As long

What length did you make the boards for both sets?
no standard size just eyeball what would be about a 45 degree angle and cut them

Would it not make more sense to put the eye bolt at the top of the 2x4?
pulling the bottoms in pushes the tops up and wedges the boards
No! the straps would bind over the top of the 2X4 causing it to pull in a bind.
Bud Light pants have to go. WOW I'd redo the video. Great idea on the stabilizer though. Shame about the stupid pants.
