I have my Mom's little round breakfast table set now that she had passed. When l made a tablecloth for her. I flipped the table upside down on top of the fabric. But I just barely had enough to have a 1 1/2" hangover. I really wanted to put elastic around it but couldn't figure out how much elastic l would need. Now that l have it, l still want to make more for it, but with elastic . The table top when the sides aren't droped down is 34 1/2" x 35"
Sorry, am I missing something? How do you get a 60" circle from the 55" wide Splash Laminate fabric. Do you have a seam in the fabric to reach the 60"? 55" folded in half does not allow for the 30" drawn circle. Confused!!! Please explain. Thanks.
Thank you. I want a round tablecloth for a 22” table with a 6” drop. I can’t do that part. But, I then need a 3” border of different fabric. (Straight bottom, not scalloped) I was thinking I would need to cut a curved border. But should I cut straight strips? It seems that it would be hard to sew a straight strip onto a large curve. Do you have suggestions for how much to cut for the border, straight or curved, and how to attach? Thank you
When you did the extra edge sewing, what did you do with the underneath, pull all the 1/4 inch seem or just that side of the seem? Not sure if I explained my question well enough!
A very nice tablecloth! Wonderful tutorial! Thank you!
I love this! I have a round table and hate the table cloths that you buy from shops as they have too much fabric around the edges for my liking!
I wish you would show the finished product at the very beginning so we can see if it's something we want to do or not.

Thanks so much. I made a fitted scalloped tablecloth for my patio table.
I'm looking forward to doing this project! Thanks Laura

Yes, I did piece it. Sorry, I thought I mentioned that in the video.
@@SewVeryEasy How did you piece it together? I'm trying to figure out how to do this for a 60 inch tablecloth but my fabric is only 52 inches wide.
Beautiful and what a great idea. I'm guessing on a windy day it would still stay on the table and not go sailing. Will have to try this one. Thanks.
Brilliant! Thanks!
Great video, thank you Laura. I have a bit of a problem making a tablecloth for my large oval table. Do you have a tutorial for an oval one?
i always learn something new every time I watch your videos
Laura do you have instructions or explanation for doing this on a square table? Thank you.

All of the seams went down and I stitched them down
