Love the 4 piece Dresden plate idea! Makes it so much easier.
I love this pattern. I have wanted to do a Dresden plate pattern but was intimidated. You make it look so easy and user friendly. Thank you.

Always so interesting and informative. Thanks a lot
Hi Laura! I watch alot of your videos and love your teaching style! This was such a fun way to do these. I have 12 hand-sewn sunflower style circles I got at an estate sale years ago. I plan on doing almost what you did with the fusible except I'm going to sew down with the fusible to the outside when turned out. That way I can fuse it down to the background fabric I'm using. The outside edges are not like a dresden-more like triangle shapes with a rounded outside edge. Make sense? I don't do handwork, so figured this would be the easiest way to adhere them down & then stitch around the edge.
Just wow! Thanks for the alternative.
Thank you Laura, love the hack on the Dresden plate design. Thinkg it will be great for a table doily ot table runner. Love watching your videos ❤❤

love this idea!!
That turned out amazing! Thanks for all the tips/tricks to making this.
I’ve always loved the Dresden Plate pattern but have avoided doing the curved tops if the pieces as I just wasn’t sure how to make them come out correctly. I’m not new to quilting but curves like these just scared me a bit! I just started the video so I’m hoping to get some tips on those curves!
Thank you for sharing.
❤ I really like the fabric line you choose, it is so pretty. That is a great technique for the Dresden Plate. It could be a nice table topper with just 4 blocks.
Thank you Laura, great time saving method and beautiful quilt!
