TY-90 are so good because even if the pull only 20G, they pull that constantly because of their amazing track rate. It is simmilar to stingers vs aim9b, both have max 10G pull but aim9b feels like it pulls 5g at most compared to stingers.
Gotta say tho the ty 90s are extremely light they activate quickly, as stingers cant do anything at 1.5 km of range, i got a kill with ty-90 even at 600 meters against an me 262.
Yea stingers pull only 10G so they are easy to dodge and generally dont have enough time to pull in. Althrought both start guiding 0,5s after launch (based on datamined info). What makes it great is that they have insane 40deg/s track rate compared to stingers 12deg/s and compared to aim9l's 22deg/s, actual weight doesnt matter at all in terms of pull (stingers are light af and they dont turn especially well), weight only matters after motor burns out where inertia matters a lot more.@@Bob_Dickinson

It matters only after motor burns out where the heavier missile will "drift" more because of lack of stabilizing trust and lack of airflow where the wieght helps as you need less force to change the inertia (trajectory) of a lighter missile, this is also why hellfires are so bad, they turn well, very well but they are just so heavy they only pull aoe and dont actually turn at low speeds, only drift tru air at high aoe.

Gaijin simply classifies all targeting cameras with lock-on ability as “IRST”s. Additionally, I’m pretty sure no helicopter in the game actually uses gen 3 thermals. Last I checked, helicopter thermals were categorized by Gaijin as “gen 2+”
thank you so much mate! i really appreciate it... regarding the IRST one yea for some reason gaijin tends to say its the "IRST : Autotracker" and that's why i used the IRST... and forgot about the Auto tracker part lol. and yea as for the generation of the thermals... to be honest i cant even say which generation is at this point cuz i usually play by 1600 by 900, and the Resolution cant help me do anything, i switch to 1080P and see if its crispy or not, if it is ,then its 3rd gen and if its not then its 1 or 2 generation, depending how low the quality is on the thermals. i honestly didnt knew about GEN2+ or anything in between tbh, thanks for the details man!

exactly! this is one of the reasons why ka 52 is so dangerous to them! u cant lock on them with ur AA missiles cuz they got IRCM that actually works, and they got a gun. I already made a review on both of them, AH-64A(GR) is basically an AH-64a, it depends on what you wanna use it for or what linup or tech tree u want to grind, my personal option would be the ka 50, since i got way too many apaches xD. But yea, ka 50 is less op now cuz missiles have delay... alot of delay, feel free to test drive them and see which one u like, practice with em, imagine senarios and have fun butchering ppl xd

Good bushmaster cannon, better sight, specially the thermals and IR track cuz ka 50 cant track while at night, but ka 50 regarding its mobility... it depends on you but to me ka 50 is better at mobility. But lacks good sights and thermals, not sure about vikhr missiles but hellfire missiles are not gonna track if they are behind a tree or smoke. Ka 50 also gets more cracked damage model with more flares,
Also chinese atgms are special in a way that they have a very very long burn time combined with hellfire's guidance which actually leads its target. This means that against ground targets the missile will reach its target much quicker than a hellfire which has to slowly glide in. The biggest strenght is against air targets, both hellfires and these missiles pull quite hard and lead its target, however hellfire have the issue of having no energy at long and medium ranges and accelerating too quickly at close range. These missiles strike the perfect inbetween which makes them deadly even against aircraft and almost imposible to dodge for a heli, ofc ty90 are better at taking out aircraft but with atgms you can easly dispose of ka52's and with your great manouverability as long as you stay bellow 20m (thats where vikhyr's proxy fuse is disabled) you can just shit on any heli and any aircraft combining the 2, ty90 for aircraft, made in china hellfires for helicopters.
Yep! Thats one thing i realised when i was playing heli pve, sometimes i ran out of ty90 missiles and i was quite surprised how good blue arrows are at tracking air targets and accurately hittung em without diving down cuz they lost energy. Great point man!

If you ever have to fight a ka50 who uses vikhr stay just under 20 meters, if you are under 20 the prox fuse wont work so you can dodge them, dont get too low bc the vikhr explodes bigger than you would think
Yep! That's what i noticed when i played it yesterday... though directs hits will still be a problem, or if u go too low, they might hit the ground and yeet ya out. Quite rare but yea nice solution man!
I greatly enjoyed the gameplay portion of the video! First of all a squad gameplay videos are surprisingly rare let alone heli squad, so having somebody else, who cooperated with you, was really cool (I know you goofed around a lot, but you still did make callouts and coordinated missile launches). Also, I appreciated that it was Ground RB gameplay, since I can somewhat relate to that unlike to Heli PvE and its always more engaging to fight real player. I suggest to turn on compass in 3rd person view, to make callouts easier. Lastly, I have content request. Would you be willing to make a video regarding the 2024 roadmap point about detailed Helicopter damage model? It would be really cool to hear your take on it. (what issues you currently have, what improvement they should make, what effects it could have on gameplay, etc., just whatever are your thoughts on it)

Ill ve honest u can buy it, but z19 is best used for its A2A, the rockets are nothing special, might better be offf getting the ka 50 or Glynx or apache for rocket rush. Its your choise mate but i wouldn't personally go for rocket rush in this thing.

Excellent content! Subscribed and liked. The one issue I have with the Chinese helicopter TT is that the ty90 puts most of them in a more or less awkward BR. The ty90s were very effective in air combat to the point where the Chinese helis were constantly moving up in BR. Then, on the other hand, their air-to-ground capability is effectively useless in their respective BR. The Z-9WA is moving to 10.7 in the next patch and will see Rolans with a 4km range missile, forcing players to stick even more to the anti-cas/spawn camping playstyle. Is it better to increase the spawn points needed for the ty90s so they cannot be spawned at the start of a game instead of blindly increasing the BRs on these helis?
Idk why but i feel like gaijin is trying to solve the TY-90 carriers by putting them in higher BR. This might not be a good way to do it... imean holy crap they might be OP in GRB... what about heli PVE? vehicles like bo105s Z9wa and mi24s already are obsolete when they are at top tier mm... rolands will eat them alive without propper ATGMs...

Cant blame ya man, i put on the decals to create a salt mine and make ppl loose their crap when they died or spectated me.(not the best way to play but aight. I had to play it like this to bring this issue to the spotlight. These missiles turn unrealistically high for what gaijin said in TY-90 statcard, are almoast terrifyingly hard to counter(flares, maneuvers etc) if played right, The lock range is even more cracked. Suprisingly if you want to change an entire course of a ground RB match and squeeze out the CAS without doing... anything. This is one of the ways to do it. I will send feedback regarding how fucked up these missiles can be. I cant blame ya for unsubbing as if i would be in the same position as you, i'd be annoyed aswell... sorri :(

Is it better to increase the spawn points needed for the ty90s so they cannot be spawned at the start of a game instead of blindly increasing the BRs on these helis?
Idk why but i feel like gaijin is trying to solve the TY-90 carriers by putting them in higher BR. This might not be a good way to do it... imean holy crap they might be OP in GRB... what about heli PVE? vehicles like bo105s Z9wa and mi24s already are obsolete when they are at top tier mm... rolands will eat them alive without propper ATGMs...
@@Bob_Dickinson I Guess they are still sticking to their "good GRB stats = moving up in BR" way of balancing instead of putting effort in for a more minded overhaul.

Borderline made me unsub not just because of the decals but also abusing a playstyle that's completely uncounterable
Cant blame ya man, i put on the decals to create a salt mine and make ppl loose their crap when they died or spectated me.(not the best way to play but aight. I had to play it like this to bring this issue to the spotlight. These missiles turn unrealistically high for what gaijin said in TY-90 statcard, are almoast terrifyingly hard to counter(flares, maneuvers etc) if played right, The lock range is even more cracked. Suprisingly if you want to change an entire course of a ground RB match and squeeze out the CAS without doing... anything. This is one of the ways to do it. I will send feedback regarding how fucked up these missiles can be. I cant blame ya for unsubbing as if i would be in the same position as you, i'd be annoyed aswell... sorri :(
