jupiter universe yes, raiders will spawn literally everywhere else, building the farm in the ocean eliminates the need to spawn proof

@@RaiyuShiragon I put them in ponds and then hang lanterns underneath them. It is a really nice touch and makes water look so much better.

@@lilibethmena8745 Yeah that is how I started using them at first. I loved the look of it so I used them on my farms. Lol I even made a bridge with them once lol.
Few extra tips for anyone building this raid farm:
•Break the piston so the mobs can fall in faster and more efficiently
•Don't directly go in the water elevator after starting the raid, wait for a few levels of the bar to fill up, it improves the farm by a lot
•Use a looting sword, believe me, it helps a ton
•Turn off the lever before going down to start the farm otherwise it won't work.

A tip for placing kelp: place 1 kelp and just spam bone meal until you cant no more, its a lot easier than manually placing it, and u dont have to go up and down

im planning on building this but want to make sure it's safe to afk. have you had any problems with dying/getting hurt because i know that can be an issue in raid farms
@@rayhanbrown4918 you need to make a macro where you turn on the go down, go up, turn on the lever when ominous horn finishes, time your hits to kill all the pillagers, then turn off and repeat, there are a lot of macros out there to record

Rays works farm is better it is easy to build just follow tutirial and you can afk it if you have autoclicker
nah for some reasons evoker can see you through glass, i try it on 1.19. the vex suddenly appeared. died couple times try to kill evoker at the captain bank.

Thx bro its very useful after building it i started a raid after and with that raid i got like 5-6 totems and after 10 minute's i got 2 full shulker box totem and 4 stack emeralds and those emeralds really helped me in completeing my full emerald beacon🎉

This turned out to be an amazing farm. I play on 1.18.1 Paper and it worked perfectly. Im not sure if it is meant to but I continuously got bad omen 5 without having to do the part you did. Thanks a lot this earns a sub

i reccomend baing safe and only building if you have a maxed out enchanted sowrd or otherwise you might die.
I strongly recommend not using this farm on a hardcore world, as it is very easy for you to die to vexes if you are not careful.
Really check out the creator in the description, ianxofour, he has lots of really ingenious farms like this!
@@theeissilent893 the boats are the reason they are there and if your macroing just click 1 per sec and your safe just don’t look up if you see a evoker face your screwed just look at the feet and you should be fine

a great tip if you have ice or land near you just lower the chunk to 3 trust me it works i have an ice biome near the farm because of which they never spawn on the area but on the ice

In 1.17 you are fine with leaving the farm with mobs as long as they are at the grinider. I had to get some milk so that I could be rid of Bad Omen when I wanted to do something different.

A point of advice :
If you don't wanna use your sword but still wanna be safe then you can place multiple railcarts upon the hopper which will kill them for their xp and loots.
(Use at least 15 of railcarts)

But the point of using a sword is the looting effect so i don't think people are going to stop using swords. And if u have mending it won't even take damage as u keep getting xp in the raid farm.

Hey! Quick update for everyone, this works for 1.19 as well! The only thing that causes me issues, is whenever I end up killing everybody, there is almost always a witch in the lava place where the big boys get killed, so I have to go up and kill it by myself. Anyway, this works perfects for me, thanks a looot! :)
Is there a way to afk this farm? I’ve seen a couple videos of this farm, but no way to afk it so far
@@blairdandelet9486 Pretty sure you can't since you need to drop down everytime a raid ends. The closest way to be able to make this farm afkable is to use a macro.
@@lidiouz1439 I think he can make a redstone timer so it moves him down to start the next raid and then up again with a 1 second attack macro

why sometimes evoker got triggered especially around captain bank, i did literally everything but for some reason whenever i try to go up climb the stairs the evoker got triggered and spawn vex. any ideas?
I was wondering how these raid farm works infinite, turns out when you're out of range from the villager when you activate the raid ,the next pillager captain will be the next bad omen giver.

WoW same as my farm uses water dispenser. Sometimes I messed up forgot to turn off the water and not spawn my BAD OMEN V. I was so in rage that time. It's hard to grind a bad omen V.
(java edition 1.18.1) I made the farm, works but not the way i thought it would. the raid spawns, i kill the mobs they stop spawning and the raid doesnt continue. doubled checks the heights of the farms. Do i have to constantly jump back down to proc the raid again and again?

Ok so I’m no expert but no that shouldn’t be happening because in the tutorial it does show him killing an evoked with lava at the end
I recommend waiting for every single raider to spawn, then when the raid bar at the top is gone, you can start killing. Dont kill while the raid is in progress, that messes everything up

my rtx 3080 barely gets 100 fps just with vanilla and 20 blocks render distance. And I#m not the only one, the forums are full of people complaining. So you hardware doesnt matter because the game sucks so hard( programmingwise)

Thanks for confirming! So the catching mechanism is basically unnecessary in 1.18 because despawning? I'll test it out, it's not that hard a build

I'm playing in a live server, while up going up i lost raid bar. I tried to up too the room of my villager but anyway it's still losing the raid while going up. Any help?
The same thing is happening with the server I have with my friends. I didn't find a solution but I found that if the raid bar fills up the raid wont spawn, but if the raid bar disappears right before it fills then the raid spawns. Basically it's just very buggy and I don't know if its the server causing it but that's the only "solution" I found.

For 1.19, if the mobs don’t spawn, move the villager and the working station 3 blocks higher. It works for me :)
i built it as the video indicates and the raiding bar starts loading and it disappears at around 80%, so i started moving the villager 3 blocks up and trying again, and the same happened. Moved it 3 blocks up again... And again, and again until i got tired and turned creative mode on, put a villager at the killing zone height and the bar fully loaded but the raid didnt start. Do you know how can i fix this?
@@tiagoosinalde1635 to fix it u need to put the villger higher like around 15 blocks more than the vidd, I did that on 1.19.2 and its working

the boss bar simply wont show up cuz you are far away from the villagers, but the raid will spawn
for some reason, i built this farm in multiplayer, but whenever someone else beside me come to use it (or at least i think this is the case), the villager just bug out, lost its job, and refuse to take it job again despite replacing the job block, so i have to replace the villager with a different one for the raid to start spawning again. not sure if different players loading the same chunk just bug out villagers somehow or not
That worked really well thanks I accidentally didn't place a block next to the hopper so I got shot by a pillager in a boat lol

Everybody having problems with not getting totems u have to put ur gamemode to hard. Otherwise u will not get the drop and not so much Emeralds aswell. Thx 4 the awesome farm :)

im having problems where the raid bar just completely dissapears right after I go up the water how can i fix this??? and yes some pillagers spawn but its not all of them that spawns like evokers because the raid would just dissapear after a few seconds
