Hey guys, in this video I show you how to make a very easy raid farm which gives a lot of loot!
This tutorial shows you how to make an EASY RAID FARM in Minecraft 1.20, but it works on older versions as well! with this farm you can get tons of Emeralds, Totems of undying in Minecraft. You can build this is survival.
This is an Emerald farm and a Totem of undying farm.

Important PSA to make this farm work more smoothly:
The player doesn’t need to kill the evokers for them to drop totems. Looting does not affect totem drop rates. If your main goal is to get totems, lower the kill chamber 2 blocks and everything will fall to its death, saving you from potential vexes. Saves so much time on this farm.
The emeralds are pretty scarce anyway, so I don’t think much of value is lost using this method.
Edit: I want to reiterate for hardcore players: fighting vexes underground will most likely kill you even with perfect armor and Gapples prepared. If a witch falls at the same time as an evoker and heals the evoker, it’ll summon vexes. I strongly suggest that you do not risk this in hardcore without lowering the kill chamber.
So it wouldn't be 27 but 29 for the monsters to die instantly? I appreciate it very much if you answer me 😃👍

Edit: 28 should work too. 29 is for sanity. Technically any number greater than 27 should insta-kill.

Thank you this really helped me out it was shorter cheaper and just generally better the all the other raid farm tutorials that i have seen.
Once one raid is over how do u get bad omen again to restart the farm? Will another raid captain just spawn in the pillager outpost?
@@Harikrishnan21 yes. illagers spawn over and over at pillager outposts. so do the captains. It just takes a while for them to spawn in. Usually, if you go 128 blocks away and enter the outpost again, there will be a captain in no time.

i built this for my hardcore world, and the totems of undying help a lot, it took an hour to get a villager there since the village was on one of them high hills and there was so much bumpy terrain but i was able to do it! thank you.

just made this for one of my worlds with friends and works really well for how cheap it is. If you have a higher raid buff it will give more loot. :3

@@DtronVALI think he means the bad omen. You just have to kill a few more pillagers before you start your raid.

If vex is spawning, maybe try replacing the path dirt with campfire, and make sure to place slab at the top so they can't attack you, this worked for me well. You'll have to kill the witch manually if it uses fire resistance

I dont get it. How again? I replaced the dirt with campfire on top of the hopper. Then I put the slab on top of my head where i'm standing close to the campfire not on top of the campfire. Like this?
pair this with an ez pillager funnel to get omen5 and you got yourself an early half off discount for all villagers, also i recommend using an iron axe to avoid sweeping edge, spawning the vexes and killing everything one shot, if your worried about looting get some diamond armor first and a proper sword which should be much easier after the first run.

i think an iron farm and toolsmith villagers wil get you more emerald if you already built the farm use the hero of the village effect to sell 2 iron for an emerald

@@gamingadda2407 there is a village about 100 or so blocks from the farm but the pillagers aren’t attracted to the village either they just wonder around by my farm

TIP:- if you are thinking why the ravagers are not dyeing so checkout for nearby beds as ravagers attract to beds ones removed your good to go :D

Yeah I have used this farm but you must have the pillagers on a one hit kill otherwise you will get vexs. Also additional protection put down boats in you kill room for just in case
Don't vex spawn only bc of the evoker (which spawns only on hard difficulty during raids)?

As far as I know the only way you can get bad omens is by just literally encountering them in the wilderness or their outpost. So I don’t think “farming” is possible unless you have an outpost nearby
there is a way bu its hard to explain and i think it only works in bedrock

A tip: make it 29 block deeper..bcz every pillager will die in this range....and you will be spare from vex.

THIS IS INCREDIBLY SO GOOD I GOT 4 stacks of emeralds and 4 totems and other good juices all from one raid thank you works like a dream
If you wanna good seed to make this in hardcore/survival, I'd recommend the seed 4009. it spawns you right in front of an outpost with a village not too far away, so you're all set!

@@kellyrobertj.6548Check the vicinity. Sometimes they get stuck. For example in a canyon. I had this problem too and fixed everything now its working perfectly
This farm is good, but make sure u cover up small caves and crevises with dirt. Also, make sure to turn ur game into hard mode so more than one evoker spwans. Again, it's a really simple but good farm. Ianxofour has an instant raid farm, which can also be built in the early game. Thank you for this simple but efficient farm Voltrox 😊

There were four possible spawn locations down there. Two were covered by the bed, and one was covered by the workstation. It would only be a matter of time before something spawned in the fourth.
I'm think of the times zombies spawn in 1x2 spaces in my walls or a spider hissing all the time in the floor. Annoying.

what should I do when no raiders spawn? I always have to fly around with my elytra until finally about 3 raiders spawn.

Guess I'm doing something wrong, but raiders won't come. They group up ~30ish blocks away and stay there. Already tried to shoot one and run back down, waited 5mins and still nothing

The lava is only the for ravager, you can try increasing the height of the hole (27 blocks one) , increase it so that every mob just dies after falling, you won't get xp , but you will get the stuff
Yo just wanna know if it's really necessary to find a pillager outpost in order to make this farm. I mean, i can get the bad omen effect also by killing the pillager with the banner who casually spawns next to my house every now and then, and so there should be no problem with making this farm even without a pillager outpost
as long as you have a bad omen then the farm should work by raid

One other thing as a suggestion, check the area you create this. I mistakenly built it next to some ravines and the mobs kept getting stuck in them, making me have to leave my safety. It was all good, but just an FYI.

that means they would die automatically, but the game rewards the player more if they player kills them not if they get killed automatically.

fun fact: you can use mud instead of shoveled dirt if you are tired of it changing back even tho you are hitting it right as you see it (yes it work just same as shoveled dirt the hopper consume it and else)

I've not tested this farm on Xbox yet, but I still have a ProTip that works on almost all of my farms and WILL work on this one.
With a Dropper, simple redstone setup, and glass, you can have the hopper point into the dropper and shoot it up to ground level, into a short water stream, that leads to a hopper and chest. If you don't care about XP farm, than you'll never have to travel down the hole and just watch from afar.
Likewise, with a simple Observer, piston and trident setup at the bottom, you can use a water elevator (soul sand) to send the XP to you and your chest. That way you get both the chest filled while you sit idle at the end of the water stream.

I put it to close to the outpost and now it counts the pillagers from there as raid members, so now i have to fly around killing them.

I have a question. Since you need bad omen to start using the farm, does it mean I have to find a different pillager outpost everytime I wanna use it?
No, a pillager outpost will continually spawn raid captains naturally, however you may have to wait a bit if the outpost is in a crowded are like a forest or right next to a mountain, but just be patient and a new captain will eventually spawn.

Nice farm! I wanted to make an water elevator, with soulsand and kelp but for some reason it wont give me any bubbles:(
You need to make every water block a water source block. You can do this by using kelp and placing it all the way up your water stream.

It works fine in 1.20.5 Java. Just add the trapdoor and the stairs to the list of materials.

I ended up building this to a village and didnt realize until halfway through that it probably wouldnt work as well. If I were to kill the other villager living here (old village) would it work better??
In Minecraft Bedrock you can make an automatic slaughterhouse with tridents 👍 it's very simple to do
word of warning, do not setup your villager anywhere close to a ravine as pillagers will often get stuck in them and make sure your far enough away that they spawn at you

@@littleqod2794 I decided to try it and it doesn’t look like it does. Not for bedrock anyway. Pretty sure it’s a Java only farm. On bedrock the bell doesn’t do anything when you ring it, at least not with the pillagers. The Pillagers also don’t pathfind like that on bedrock. They just kinda rush into a big size area and roam around till they see a target to attack.
I like this, like the others said, it's the right speed and right detail to follow. Well Done! Question: -why 150 blocks from pillager outpost -why not closer, or farther??

i think its so that its easier for you to not need to go so far just to kill 1 or 2 leaders
it can be farther, he meant AT LEAST 150 blocks away
If you don't have sword that good, or just want to stay safe, for example on hardcore, simply use axe instead!
Hey, i'm doing it on a server. When the raid triggers, 6 or 7 mobs fall in the farm and then nothing again, forever. When i disconnect and reconnect some spawn again but it does the same. Any idea ? Ty!
