- Machined one side of jaws to fit flush against service valve to better fit the couplings.
I respect all the things you did for the demonstration, but I would do it differently, like without cutting that sweat sections off, just extend it out with sort pieces by brazing it, and use zoom lock fitting from there.
The question is how would you fix it when after if those zoom lock fittings happen to leaked after you installed it, I bet those o-rings inside fittings will eventually worn out someday.

No bueno friend. You gotta deburr the outside of the pipe aswell. Otherwise nice installation.
With all due respect, I can solder those connections in half the time and with less cost than this demonstration.
John Schwarz.... with all due respect, I'm sure you probably could solder those connections in half the time, however you don't solder ACR joints and or fittings in this application... we actually braze them!!!! Perhaps you mean silver solder? Lol
