Oss! Sensei.. I watched your improving yoko geri, I tried and improve very properly thank you sensei your teaching style is awesome..... It is very helpful when you break every movement and focus on it thank you sensei. Oss!
Thanks Sensei, this is really inspiring. During lockdown, I'm training predominately on kata. I'm hoping to improve before I can return to the club - these training methods are exactly what I need.
Thanks a lot sensei for nice explanation about turnings , i have small thing to clarify ,in 4:03 , 270 degree , do we need to turn fully with heel or as you do here .. 180 degrees with heel and then rest 90 degree with ball of the foot .. i am but confuse with this .. pls explain .. what is the best and correct way . turning all 270 degree with only heel at once or 180 with heel then remaining 90 degree with moving a heel ? oss
very nice work , osu what would you use as an additional training to karate to add sharpness to movement ,and apply more speed in moves as well as moves in between . thank you
Great vid Ken-Sensei - I hope all is well at home. I have a quick question about the Uke-sequence - did you incorporate a Gyaku-Soto-Uke into the sequence with an eye on Bassai-Dai (all the others were in Hamni)? All the best 👍
I have few questions, for sure you have been training Karate at a younger age if I am not mistaken. - When it comes to adults especially at late 30s who might be thinking joining this sport or any other martial arts, how easy or difficult to remember the name of movements especially if we need to pronounce them in the Japanese words? - Will it be also difficult to learn the Kata and it's movement at an older age? - Usually martial arts requires some body flexibility, does it apply on all or in specific sports?
