I made my return after 25 years, armed with a fresh pair of inspiration I went to the skatepark. Long story short. I sat down to unbuckle my skates and the local boys walked up to me fists out, nice session bro. LETSGO!
Always inspirational to see you work. I've started skating again on and off when weather permits since last October and your videos are a big part of that.
I've been working on royales lately, and yours look great! Your feet are a lot closer together than mine; maybe that's one of my issues for that grind. Great video as always! Skating when you want to skate is the best.
I also like charging at ledges, being able to cruise with good speed and relax before jumping on is the best. Skating smaller stuff or stuff with tight run ups sucks. Your skating looked a lot better when you had that speed. I can relate
It's been probably 10 years since I've bladed and I've had this urge lately to get another pair of skates. I'm 32 now so jumping back into it seems sketchy but after watching your video I'm doing it. Good stuff Broski
Ah smashing it dude, I've been real slack lately and haven't skated for a while, this video has given me motivation to get out and roll, keep up the good work Law
I was happy to hear you taking a step back to focus on mental health on whatever video that was a few months back. Maybe Jan? The sheer joy at 8:53 made go and get a quick lunchtime p-rail session in.
Hi, I like your content. I stopped skating about 20 years ago and just brought some M12's as wanting to get back into it after so long. I also snapped my ankle with permanent fitted plates and screws which is making me anxious, your content is giving me confidence.
"and today I really wanna skate" wholesome. I have the same thing at the moment, I am not really skating park unless I really feel like it. I still skate to and from work when I can, but skatepark skating is taking a backseat because I keep getting injured in the cold wearher.
So good to see you again on skates! Nevermind the rusty, good vibes are better than good tricks! I'd like to get one of those V2 but my V1 is still rocking!
Great footage, and great energy to it all. Just discovered your channel through your tutorial on how to get started on Makios, Soul Grinds, and Mizus, be really helpful as I just got my first pair of aggressive skates ever at age 40 to start learning on.
Hey buddy , I NEED A HELMET ! But Thanks for your inspiration as a 32 yr old man , its feels so amazing to get. Back to it. Of course rusty but ITS FUN. I DO NEED A HELMET !! THANKS AGAIN AND HOPE TO WIN YOUR NEXT GIVEWAY cant wait for your next stream
Durham, huh! I live in northwestern NC, and I'm a 40-something year old who used to skate when I was a teen. I still have my skates, the same skates from when I was a teen. I'd love to come skate with you sometime and try try get back into it. Still very comfortable on my skates, just haven't done any aggressive skating in over 20 years.
Looking smooth on those ledges, Law ! ! I'm gonna try to get some skating in on my days off. Relearning the balance is proving to be rather difficult but I'm continuing to work at it. Hopefully small ledges in a few weeks. Baby steps, right ??
Awesome to see you so pumped up on that back to blading session! All right, you got me into getting anti-rockers for these ledges I want to work on. But I wonder if there is any point in putting small inner wheels on a kaltik stealth frame since the H-block is already pretty high. Any advice on that?
Is that an 8bit rendering of Chamillionaire's Ultimate Vacation? I just got myself a used pair of Phatty Pros similar to the ones I had back in the 90's. They are pretty sik, but I can't get the axles loose to clean and lube the bearings... Anyway, sik skating. I hope I can get back into it with these 2 bad knees of mine...
Great skating! Is your boot company's shell break 6-7 and 8-9? Please do a blue boot and a white boot! Can't wait to pre-order! Hopefully it's a flat boot with a good shock absorber!!
Do you ever have issues with recovery? I got back into aggressive skating last month after 22 years, I can barely skate once a week. My shins my ankles. Everything hurts all the time for weeks after a session. It’s been very depressing.
I’m getting back into inline after 20 years I’m just worried I’m going to get shit from non rollerbladers at the skate parks.. do you ever get anybody saying shit to you?
Teasing that boot. You bad man, Law. Bad, bad man 😍😍
So ready to buy the new aggressive boots. C'mon, let's go Law.

Excited to check out your booth of mystery this weekend.

So great to see you back Law!
Looking good out there bro. Keep it up. 80s baby out here rooting for you
Glad to have stumbled across this channel, I'm getting ready to come back to skating after a 22 year hiatus.
Man I need to bend my knees more. Great video Law, glad to see you back at it!
Good to see you back Law, waiting on my V3 soul plates looking forward to getting back myself.
I've been working on royales lately, and yours look great! Your feet are a lot closer together than mine; maybe that's one of my issues for that grind. Great video as always! Skating when you want to skate is the best.
Thanks! I actually prefer them wider apart but that comes with confidence which I don’t have back yet. More speed helped me, might help you as well

This video got me real excited for the weather improving where I am. Great to see you back at it.

Proud to be the 420th thumbs up. I am also an old blader trying to find the motivation to bust a move.

Love it! We have a cabin in Piney Creek, and I skate the park in West Jefferson and Sparta before it closed. We should meet up if you get back to it.
@@BacktoBlading Yeah, that's much closer than Durham, let me know when you are heading out that way and I'll try to meet up with you.

Haha, it might be. Not sure
Mate you were ripping that higher ledge.
Thanks Scott! It’s gotta be the frames

As Kurtis Blow would say, those are the breaks
@@BacktoBlading yes! I'll be getting the 6-7 boots from you! Great Kurtis Blow quote too haha
My guess for the boot company name: Down. As in boot Down :P
Hah, nice
When did they put up all those buildings around the park? I hardly recognized it!
The back farv was laced.
My one trick, all I need 😂
I want to get back into it. My budget is $400-500. What skates should i get?
Why's everyone hiding from the WKND skates?
Can’t hide from those, they’d bright orange!
