I went back to the year 1996, where I just bought Megaman X3 in my favorite game store. Already back in those days it was a rare game, so rare I could only get a used copy. I love Megaman X3, it was a proper send-off from the SNES era. I don't like the entire soundtrack, but certain tracks just stand out like the opening stage, Gravity Beetle, Toxic Seahorse or Volt Catfish.
VC is an underated theme in my opinion.
I apologize for punishing you with a quickly shot boring video, but at least you have another awesome artwork from yours truly 'Dominic Ninmark' to look at in between ;).
The game's sole composer was the awesome Kinuyo Yamashita (Castlevania NES) she also worked on the Wily Wars Genesis game. And for those asking yes there will be more of X3, but I want to focus on other games first. I really want for Gravity Beetle to be a Mammoth of a track so hang in there it's going to get made (in the next 100 years)

MP3 320KBPS: Coming soon....
Megaman X3 OST was brutal.
Every X game ost was brutal except X2 that one was more laid back
Assuming “brutal” means good here. And I Agree that X2 was more laid back, much like PS1 games.
It sucked to me but when played on instruments it sounds waaaay better. Note worthy was opening, gravity beetle, vile and dr Cain theme
Glad to see someone else enjoys Volt Catfish's theme as much as I do.
Agree. Its one of my favorites
Me too dude
Gotta love that guitar bro
It’s my favorite Stage theme in X3 and one of my personal favorite x tracks of all time.
Fuck him he's a cheater
Metaltool casually killing it with every single theme
my wedding music
When I was in elementary school, my parents would let me rent a game from BlockBuster if I got an A on my Spelling Tests. (my parents were horrible spellers, so they wanted to make sure it did not befall to me) so I would always get an A to get my 4-day BlockBuster rental. I had an SNES and they had a copy of Megaman X and Megaman X3 (no X2...) So, being a kid and thinking 3 is obviously cooler than 1, I rented 3.
At that point, I ended up only really ever renting Megaman X and Megaman X3 constantly through elementary school. I would even write down my save passwords with little notes to the side of them and put them in the blockbuster case for someone to be able to progress if they wanted to (not knowing Blockbuster probably just threw it away each time).
I grew up playing this over and over, to this day I still think the MMX series had some of the coolest music any game has to offer. The balance of awesome and nostalgia in these remixes is shear perfection.
Cool dude! Funny thing is I did so with Megaman 7! I had to rent it several times, because it was nowhere to be found in stores back then. At least not in the city I lived in. But guessing at the prices on ebay for a MM7 cartridge it has always been rare. Rental stores were the shit back then. Such a mysterious and adventurous environment. Back in those days there was no internet, no reviews, one had to take a risk and just try out a game, based on the box artwork. I could never afford more than 2 new games a year! thanks for the comment
@@Metalltool Although the building has been repurposed, there is still a huge blockbuster sign standing in my town on top of a 20-30 ft pole. Good times. I, too, used to rent these games on the weekends and tried to beat them before return time.
That's amazing to hear bro! That's love for Megaman X
Me one of my best friend (and now we have kids) we knew each other through video games and basketball.
For video games it was Megaman X, Donkey Kong on SNES and FF7 and FF Tactics and so-on for PSX.
I remember he thought me that you could hold A while wall jumping so you can bounce off further. Great memories!
*sheer*
I would constantly rent Megaman 5 (I am a bit older) if you like that game check out Gravity Man's theme, its a banger.
Buddy this is so freaking awesome I can't tell you how...
god damn the solo basically makes the entire arrange. great work!
outro was pretty neat too
Thx, you too
Stone McKnuckle makes some epic Mega Man covers too!

Mega man X3 and this guy:
Getting the Golden Armor was HARD.
Amazing dude! Such an upgrade to Volt Catfish theme!
Oh, don't get me started on 'ol volty volt.
Friggin' cheated on RPS.
I love the progressive nature of your songs. so many covers are just plays on the melody, crazy soloes, over and over but your songs are so much more fun to listen to.
2:07 onwards is just amazing
You are the best Mega Man remixer period. Huge fan of the series, have listened to hundreds of various remixes over the years, made fangames of this series, but you're so damn good at this.
Kokonoe thank you! I'll always ve working on mega man tracks. I love the series as well
@@Metalltool Awesome. I been a subscriber for years now so I'll definitely keep listening to whatever you make. :D
A real electronic monster fish emerged!!!!
Love this! A little Peruvian Skies at the end was a really cool and unexpected touch 👍🏻🎸
Thanks! But Peruvian skies? Must be coincidental, never heard it
Dude. 3:10-3:34 is fire.
MAN this song is amazing, just perfect on an electric guitar.
Nice thumbnail. It's a good idea to show it even in the beginning of the video. More importantly, nice take on the Power Plant theme.
came here to feel the eletric energy ,this cover will eco through the electronic strings of epicness forever.
I feel the power!
That's what I say when the girly girls turn me down , and oh DO THEY!!!
i always take advantage of the turn downs.
Like they say
No
And I say
Wise choice, cause I'm into ostriches and waterfalls.
...Of high voltage!
So good, megaman snes OST and heavy metal are a perfect match.

Absolutely Phenomenal
This is awesome!! I love X3 too, especially the music! Great cover!
Hardest catfish theme I've ever heard.
Thannk you for this awesome remix! You did Volt Catfish justice here.
Yeah ! The mans returned with another one !
You ROCK!!! Amazing work!!!
Last winter I was walking out of my apartment complex and realized that it was a snowstorm outside. While this happened I wondered why the music in my ears had suddenly stopped. Turns out that this was the song that had started playing since the first 10 seconds are mute, so as I open the door to be met by cascading snowfall and violent winds, the fucking intro starts blasting, almost as if the song wanted to tell me to buckle up and that shit just got real. Felt like I was walking into a war. Just a nice little memory.
Love it! :)
YES, god damn! All of your remixes are AMAZING!
Don't forget to tie your shoes.
one of my favorites that you made incredible job well done.
This is better than i could have imagined, it got me really pumped up!
My fave music from my fave MMX game! Amazing work, my dude!!
Yay Gravity Beetle! Not to put pressure on you, but I'm really looking forward to that one. It's my favorite X3 song!
I get that, bro! It's one of the best in the game.
He finally released it recently. Check it out
Very well put together this was badass
Great work, and I agree with you about those other MMX3 tracks you mentioned as really standing out. I can't wait to hopefully see you do Gravity Beetle in the future
Awesome remix. Especially loved the 2nd half of it. You do the original songs justice!
Volt Catfish to Smash!!!
You know what's sad? The fact that I just barely found you! I'm a huge fan of your Megaman X3 opening stage as well. Seriously, you and FamilyJules7x have the best Mega Man covers ever on UA-cam. Is there any where I can purchase your tracks to support you?? Sorry, I couldn't stop fan-gasming over you haha. I'm truly honored to subscribe to your channel.
Thank you! metalltool.bandcamp.com/ is where you can download my stuff
Nice. Viking Guitar's mmx2 medley is also excellent. This is great stuff
Also try hearing Breis, they make really good covers too.
Stone McKnuckle's remixes are better in my opinion.
Indeed he is avatar wan!
Why is this better than the actual theme? Beautiful!!!
Volt Catfish! Good stuff man. That back n forth with the solo synth was neat too.
LOL That ending. Good stuff indeed!
Dude am so high right now, and got ultra focused on how you play all the instruments and sounds made by you which is already a feat, and playing them all at different times. Dude so got an amazing talent, you should keep creating music. Hopefully megaman music hahahaha
peace
You are pretty good at it! Amazing cover🔥
Amazing cover!
WHOA!
This is AWESOME, man!
Amazing Work Dude!
By The Way, You look absolutely Cool! Keep up the Videos!

Incredible work
Okay, so now all I gotta do is mute the TV and play Megaman X3 with this blasting, and I'm in for a good time.
am speechless, its soooo amazing
So bad ass I love it.
I can't expect all of these to be perfect according to what I would want to hear in MMX covers, but so far I can't complain. Another great one. (Can't wait for Gravity Beetle.)
Reminds me again of how much I want to play these Mega Man songs. Figuring out how to play songs is hard; I don't know how people do it so well. xD
Badass tone!
This is the best remake of volt catfish level
Freaking awesome, thank you.
Thank you, i've noticed how cool that theme was the first time i played it but it seems a bit underrated. And pretty cool Doom Metal ending!
When you play MegaMan X just to listening again to such epic solos
Epico...
This. Is. Awesome.
Nice thumbnails, dude! Also great renditions :D
X3 has its flaws(I mean it was HALF FINISHED) but damn the guns and roses theme track was excellent!
I was numb to your guitar sound just like the electricity of the electric catfish modeled by this character 😆⚡
Much better than the Pheonix Project one IMO. Keep up the good work.
It was so brutalllll ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ 🎵🎵💣💣💣💣💣
DAMN this is a brilliant cover. X3 had some awesome music
It surely did! Thanks!

Your work is exquisite. I make CD's to play in my car and I jam this shit with the windows down. I was listening to your Flame Mammoth remix when a dude drove up beside me at a stop light doing hand-horns out the window towards me as he yelled out "hell yeah, that shit is intense".
Was pretty awesome.
I can imagine! Awesome, people playing my tracks in cars. Keep it up dude
