Hey Fellas, this time I remixed one of my favorite Tracks on the SNES:
The 'Shopping Centre Theme' of 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - The Movie'.
I just saw a couple of episodes of the TV series back in the days, but the music was cool. This is my third remix and I really try to up the ante with each release.
I was looking for a big 80's Heavy Metal Rock sound with some Pop elements.
The music was composed by Haruo Ohashi and Hiroyuki Iwatsuki.
Iwatsuki also composed the music for Ninja Warriors Again, which is one of my favorite SNES soundtracks so this is a tribute to his craft.

You know what they say, the flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long. Though in this case I guess it's forced to burn out.

I remember in my childhood days when I used to fight with my friend to be the White Ranger. ''Today it's my turn to be the White Ranger''. His death so suddenly made me very sad. :/
After all these years, I still come back to this cover because it’s that damn good.

This is the only cover that elevates the awesome emotions I felt playing as the White Ranger for the first time in the SNES game. RIP Jason David Frank.

Ninja warriors on super nes is another one they did and it's just awesome as this.
Actually one of my favorites on SNES.
A perfect early 90's action atmosphere going on.
Now Natsume does mostly Harvest Moon titles and it's a shame because I know they have it in them to do something mind blowing. Too bad it's not the same world as it was then, huh?
Some guys are actually keeping this kind of music alive, for instance check out Yosuke Yasui, a very talented composer. He's doing retro stuff with a fresh sound. ua-cam.com/video/5pbP3oIc7fk/v-deo.html just to get an impression. His Eschatos soundtrack is phenomenal.

Man the SNES Power Rangers music was just SO. GOOD. Like Power Rangers could do no wrong at this time. The shows were awesome, the movie was around, the toys were GREAT and the games were MORPHINOMENAL!
One of my favorite versions of this song. RIP Tommy. We love you. I met you just a couple years ago. I brought my nephew who was a big fan too. You were his first famous person he had ever met and he always talks even now about how kind you were to him. The part at the very end with the guitar harmony at about 5:34 is the best part of the whole song, by far. Great work metaltool. I met jason david frank and was disappointed. never meet your heroes. However, the spirit of the green and white rangers will last forever. The extended, original solos in this song are out of this world.
Of all the remix i have listen so far in my list this is Rank #1 and believe it or not i always picture something like this in my head when i was still a kid playing the game and now to come here and find such a incredible remix, that dream is been granted....you have my thanks man don't ever stop creating song's.

This is bar none the coolest most amazing remix of a video game track I have ever heard and probably ever will again. You captured the essence of what the power rangers were and it honestly makes my top 5 most favorite songs of all time.

This came up in one of youtube's algorithm mixes for Megaman X music eventually (where it fits beautifully). As a MMPR 90s & Megaman X kid, have to say I stronnnnngly vibe the track. Honestly if you're vibing it I'd like to plant the seed for some crossover tracks, make each level of megaman sound like a megazord battle!
The appropriate timing of the gameplay footage and the music has to be a standout in this video.

I remember finding this cover about 10 years ago give or take and being AMAZED at how great it was (and it also brought me to a lot of your other great covers) but this one, it's just something about it. Just wanted to say I've heard many other covers and they're good but none have yet to top this one and I'm glad to see you still put out new stuff when you can.
