Absolutely wonderful video Alex!! The good ol' baby brush hog action was nice. And I need to pick up up some plastic hair ties for wacky rigging. Amazing catches! Thank you for always keeping it realistic 😊
Skipping a wacky rig under docks - since I learned to do this I’ve doubled my fish! A good skill to have, especially in the heat as they seek out the shade under there.
Sup Alex, great day, the first bass wow, Texas rig for me, but I do use wacky rig too. Bite on, had hell if a day in RI before the front came in, come and go, it's realistic fishing lol. Tyvm tc 🎣
I've been fishing with a baby brush hog almost exclusively on my last couple of fishing trips, still trying to get my first bass on one. Hopefully this is a sign and thanks for always keeping it realistic!
Great looking Bass! Nice to see you're catching them! I'm having some success in MI using a Senko Wacky Rigged. Fortunately, temps have come down recently. Thanks for the video!
The BBH strikes again. Then a decent catch in all those lake veggies with the wacky. Really good finds Alex, sweating out that heat for some catches!!!
I caught a few bass last night using your technique from the other day using half a light colored senko. It's a great tip. It was a neat experience as well. Something instantly broke the line after my second fish. I thought line might have been damaged and didn't notice. To change things up, I tied on a hook and a white craw and low and behold a pike nailed it!
Good bass, I'm hoping to get some good bass tomorrow as today the hurricane hit and made the weather too risky to even go out and try. Hopefully the rain made it better for tomorrow. I'm hopeful. 👍
Great video! Here in the midwest I've been doing very well on drop shot using zoom trick worms wacky style! Junebug, Gooseberry, Redbug and anything dark purple has been working! Using a small hook and 1/16th ounce drop shot weight!
I've yet to catch a fish on a wacky rigged worm, so I usually go with a Texas Rig, myself. I've had a horrible summer of fishing so far. I haven't caught a fish since the beginning of March, so I might just give it a rest until the temperatures cool down in October!
Request: 1. If your local river or lake isn’t to weedy or snaggy, may you try Dropshot Rig with Berkeley Maxscent Flatworms or Hitworms? 2. If you have anytime, may you try fishing in spillways if you have any? No pressure, just asking.
Would I be "out on a limb" to say a brush hog is one of your "go to", confidence baits? Hmmmm ... 😂😂😂. These videos are awesome...tight lines, God bless
Texas Rig or Wacky Rig???
Texas rig if it's snaggy. Wacky rig if not snaggy.
Wacky rig!!
Texas...no issue with wacky but most of my spots have some vicious snags.
Yes 😆
For reliability and versatility, my vote has to be Texas rig
Texas rig is my go to for the weeds but wacky is my fav. It’s fun to catch em on the wacky. Great video. KiR!!!
Dang Skippy buddy . One bass is dope but two , that made the trip 👍 nice Alex .
Man Alex, you jumped right out of the gate with that first one. And what a nice one to start off with. Great video buddy.
I love that you fish the same type of lakes/ponds that I do
#realistic
One really nice bass! Not bad at all for such a short time. Another realistic journey! Thank you Alex!
The fishing might be picking up again!
The wacky rig has always been my bass go to here in NJ . Just hooked old school with a hook directly through the worm.
Glad to see two different rigs working for you today!
Two easy switch ups!
Im still trying to catch a big swim bait bass this summer.
KIR!
Good luck! Big swimbaits are tricky for me
They both have their times for use thats for sure mostly Texas for me
Absolutely wonderful video Alex!! The good ol' baby brush hog action was nice. And I need to pick up up some plastic hair ties for wacky rigging. Amazing catches! Thank you for always keeping it realistic 😊
I prefer the EQUATE black hair ties from Walmart

That's a great fish Alex! You didn't say, "Baby Brush Hog, Baby Brush Hog, Baby Brush Hog", yet the magic happened. You are The Man! KIR!
I don't think you have to say it every time. It carries over into the next trip for sure 👍
@@RealisticFishing Where's the fun in that? Take care and KIR.
Last year the 4" fluke was my go to lure. This year it is definitely the wacky rig. Keep it realistic!!
I’ve never seen that grasshopper color. I’ll be lookin for that. Thank you

Yes, a perfect way!
Brush hog and the ozark trail rig...... hard to beat that combo 👍
Sup Alex, great day, the first bass wow, Texas rig for me, but I do use wacky rig too. Bite on, had hell if a day in RI before the front came in, come and go, it's realistic fishing lol. Tyvm tc 🎣

The old reliable baby brush hog. Catching fish for you Alex
I'm a Texas Rig guy! I've been fishing it for most of my life and I've caught both my PB Largemouth and Smallmouth on it!

That vegetation though, daaaaang. Great first bass! Fun to snipe that smaller one from the weeds. Thanks for sharing these trips with us.
Great save on the bass football
fumble recovered by the offense!

Thanks, you too!
Got this going on in NW PA on Lake Erie lol
That's an interesting color brush hog. For the heat we're having is have to go Texas rig nice and slow.
Baby Brushhog, baby Brushhog , baby Brushhog. You can't use a hair bow, you have to buy the wacky rig tool and O rings......oh, wait...😜
Hair ties work way better, more stretch 👍
Texas rig for me 🎣💯%
Good day.
5th? XD You know its going to be good with a brush hog.
Oh yeah!
Baby brush hog, baby brush hog, baby brush hog, baby brush hog
A couple of bass beats the turtles I ended up with today. Bait stealing jerks lol. KIR y’all!!!
Fishing is horrible at local ponds due to all the rain lately
Wow, I could use a little more rain over here
@@RealisticFishingI'd gladly send it your way if possible

I have a lot of videos fishing at spillways. Check through my 1000+ video library. No pressure, just a suggestion
@@RealisticFishing Oh I remember seeing one of those spillway videos and saw you catching a gar with a crankbait one time. Thanks for letting me know.
if I just had to choose it would be texas
Looks more like Beer Color
Ew, what kind of beer would that be? 🍺
