i wish my family would start to visit church again. i feel like i’ve become so disengaged with God and the Bible. i still pray before every meal but now it just seems like it’s out of habit and less like i’m doing it with any meaning... i really want that to change. i suppose this is a good place to start since i’m not old enough to drive yet (then i can start going to church again!), and thank you for sharing God’s Word while also helping others to relax. 💜
Thanks for the comment. If you're unable to get to church there is definitely good teaching everywhere online that can be live streamed even. I, for instance, can't always get to church either, so I head over to Bethel TV youtube channel which has very sound Biblical teaching as well as worship music beforehand. It's all live streamed and accessible later on. I hope you can find something that works for you!

I am reading the Bible o my channel, for those who need it.
I wish my family would go back too. My parents hasn't stopped reading the Bible, and they're helping my younger sibling read it, but i feel like ive drifted so far away from God, and it makes me sad.

Try and ask Him to give you a desire to read the Bible. You need the bible otherwise, the enemy will attack easily and you won't feel close to God.

John 14:15 if you love Him you will keep His commandments. I know it sounds cute to say you love Him but it takes an honest examination of your reverence and relationship with God to see if you truly love Him or just say it to few good.

God is love friend. Come and have peace. Know that everything is going to be ok. He holds His Children tight.
Remember that Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross wasn’t for us to stop sinning (all though as Christians we should strive to be like jesus) it was to give as a way to be cleansed of our sins, anywhere and at anytime.

This is gonna sound really weird but I had a dream the other night that a man was whispering calming tingly things into my ear like ASMR. This morning it made me want to listen to some ASMR and then I was searching for other Christian based asmr to add to my playlist. Then I came across this video and I saw some other videos of yours where it showed your face and you look sort of like the man in my dream.
Anyway I feel like maybe God was leading me to your channel. Idk why exactly, but I really enjoy your content and I would encourage you to keep doing what you’re doing! It undoubtedly brings God joy to see you speaking his word into the community of ASMRtists

I don't believe but I have a job in which often has me listening to people preach, read scripture, pray, or just talk about these things in general and I've always gotten tingles when I listen to them. People tend to use bed side manners when they read scripture and pray, and the quiet melodic words are nice.

I watched this video back when I had a gross and dark lifestyle. Now I am coming back to this video stronger in my faith than ever, picking up my Bible daily, and praying often. I know I’ve commented before, but it’s nice that this video has been around for me during such change. Anyway, God bless, thank you for the uplifting reading of God’s wonderful scripture.

@@gabrialtome4478 he can use anything . and the asmr community has tons of occult stuff, so we need be careful. I have the spirit of discernment and I can feel it from some videos I've seen. But - it also shows obviously with how some try to be sensual. and New age
I understand the concern, but at the same time... Not everything in it is satanic. If it’s something like some kind of demon roleplay or something like that, then yeah. I definitely stay away from those. Besides that, it’s really not bad.
I know one other person who whisper reads Bible on UA-cam but she doesn't have many followers and for years...(her quiet British accent reading is nice tho)
It's uplifting to find other person (I haven't been looking) During 2020, we had zoom Bible study on Romans. 2020 was strange indeed but studying Romans was a treasure... I should really indulge in the beloved words. Love your whispered reading, plz keep up♡

I need help like i want to get close to god but i keep cussing and doing sins i know god forgives but theres thatreally wrong feeling
hey there ! repent(choose to not willfully sin and turn away from it) and trust in Jesus for salvation (read romans 10:9-10). Read the bible daily and pray/talk to God daily.
find out why you keep cussing, for example, it could be listening to music with swearing, same with other sins you commit. because your mind is filled with it so often, it will start to come out of you. Just like a diet if you eat bad food it will negatively impact and healthy food with positively impact your life.
I highly encourage you to read the bible daily (if you dont know where to start, read colossians, john, mark, luke and matthew in the new testament). reading the bible will impact your life positively and it will motivate you not to sin,it will also reveal to you more of God's character. Prayer is also a way to communicate with God. Building relationship with God will bring you closer to him. Nobody's perfect and we all mess up sometimes, but God is merciful, continue to seek him ! He loves you sm and is waiting for you with open arms!

I have come here after losing a battle with an addiction to pornography I just needed to pray and get closer in scripture any way I can. I’m tired of pornography controlling my life my schedule my relationships my time. I feel as I have disappointed the lord and that hurts man it’s stings. After all he has forgiven me for I still gave in, it’s like a slap in the face to god.
I’m only in middle school, but I want to be close with god. I don’t have a book but I do have the app. Is it ok if I read the ERV (easy reading version) on my app instead of the real thing? I find it hard to understand

that’s always okay! i recommend getting a notebook too, or even just using the notes app on your phone (i know writing physically helps me, but your notes app is a very good option too) but using it to meditate on the Word, and write down any definitions of words you don’t understand, or just to reflect on what you read. i know that writing notes helps me to remember things i read and help me connect it better to my life and other parts of the Bible.
You could try a type of Bible version called The Action Bible. It is the bible put into comic book form. It helped me a whole lot. Or else you could get a version that breaks down everything. 😄

I've been so depressed lately. My family, job, and responsibilities are stressing me out. Also I'm trying to get over someone. Sometimes I'm just tired of it all and want it all to end. I try not to despair, but it's hard.

I'll give you a virtual hug. :) God is not mad at you. Think of yourself as a prodigal son - what did his Father do when he returned and swore himself to a life of slavery? His Father clothed him in the finest robes and organized a celebration for his return! God rejoices when we return to him, whether we "feel" it or not. And He won't leave you where you are. So turn back to Him, pursue Him. He will help you, even if the method doesn't seem obvious. He loves you and He doesn't want you to go on this journey alone. Even when you feel there is a drought - when you can't hear Him or feel His presence - He is still there; droughts just come so we can be reminded to seek the Living Water. It's absolutely hard sometimes, but life is hard for everyone - at least with God, you are never truly alone.
Is it weird for me to read the Bible for confidence and hope but I don’t believe in god but my ancestors. A different religion, but nonetheless I still read the book. There are verses where it helps me battle depression and stress.
