- Tonight I am reading from the Bible. This is part 2 of a 3 part series covering the Book of Matthew. This video includes Chapters 10 through 18. I recommend using headphones to magnify the benefits of the ASMR. Reading God's Word has brought me overwhelming peace and I hope it brings peace to you as well as you seek rest. I pray you are able to relax and thoroughly enjoy this ASMR video of whispers and light ambient noises and that it helps you with anything you are struggling with, wether it be chronic pain, depression, anxiety, insomnia, or simply a desire to meditate on God’s Word while you rest or relax.

Well the origins of asmr is from Chinese techniques using the “meridians” or what they call the 13 “ energy flows “ throughout your body .. so is it truly okay to use as a Christian ? Just like yoga

I was thinking I'd start doing it myself if someone else doesn't pick up the torch. I'm a man, and so ASMR from a man can tend to be a bit different than from a woman. I see most are done by females, probably for a reason. But please continue!!! I cried listening to Matthew, something about hearing the voice, in a whisper, and so I can meditate on the words like when I was a kid and Mom used to read the Bible to me and my brother. God bless!
