I would only choose the 7429 on a river map. The 7310 got out faster at the end but 7429 didn't have problems with deep water while 7310 took some damage

I love how they flashed their little headlights when they won, just happy as a couple clams.
Both are very similar. Just two things which might have influenced the score here:
1. The swamp test, as has been said before, should have been done with a gas tank on E-7429 too, in order to avoid some unnecessary wheel spin. At worst, it would have been a tie.
2. On the mud test, you did not take the same route with both trucks. With the E-7429, you went too much on the right, where the mud was deeper and the semi-trailer got stuck. With the E-7310, you went for the better route, slightly on the left, where there was more solid ground and the semi-trailer did not get stuck. If you were to choose the same route with the E-7429, the truck would have also finished this test. Viceversa: the E-7310 would have definitely got stuck too if you were to take it on the slightly different path you did with the E-7429. I agree the E-7310 is slightly better in mud and would have edged the E-7429 eventually in this test, but the important thing is the E-7429 would have also finished the mud race.
In conclusion, the E-7310 still slightly edges the E-7429 in durability and mud, while the E-7429 can do better in deep water, with far less engine damage. The road race hardly counts. :)

The 7310 has two huge weaknesses compared to 537 and 7429 imo! The long overhang of the cabin and the low ground clearance. Its strong in mud bud weak at crawling in forests and rocks (i do a lot crawling for fun).

It would also be a good idea to tow a small, high ground clearance vehicle, cause the 7310 is quite helpless in the rocks and forest.

but 7429 is worse, because inner axles are driven which means it gets stuck at any hole where only outer axles have grip and even when pulling, the rear axles get most grip due to the weight

I think, better àll truck in low 1 is slower. Because if that truck stuck in deep mud, low wheel spinning is better. Because it don't dig the mud deeper.
And heavier truck can get more grip.
I prefer the more civilian look of the 7429 as well as some the workshop add-ons that are available for it, while I think everyone can agree the the 7310 is fun to drive because it’s nearly unstoppable. They’re both in the game for a reason and should each have their own specific purposes.
The 7310s extra weight means it will get better traction on all surfaces, even if it sinks in a little more

One point to note is that the white knight does better on more technical obstacles with a lot of highs/lows. The green monster can be more unwieldly due to its honking great nose :)
The big thing for me with these trucks is how the fuel economy is. because the e-7310 uses a shit ton of fuel
Very thirsty indeed lol Best thing to do is to lock her down into 1st and set it to 1/3 throttle. She crawls but indefinitely and I mean NOTHING will stop it while in all wheel and fully locked up. She burns way less fuel to boot about 10-15LPM on flat ground lol

Apparently the 7429 is an MZKT-74295 tank transporter. Which explains the black paneling around the cab as well as the ridiculously huge front bumper and tires.
I still prefer the E-7429 over the 7310, i just love the addons, it's general handling, and power. Damage points doesn't matter to me as i rarely damage any of my trucks at all.
The bumper on the E7429 acts like a dredge any time you try to climb something even remotely steep and and can get you stuck.
The E7310 is always king over the 7429. 7310 has a lower center, ALWAYS has its repair points instead of only when pulling a garage semi trailer, the 7310 seems to have more power which i noticed when using it AND it just looks awesome in my opinion. When you are playing co-op and theres an E7310 on your team, you know it will be fun.
What is the hidden talent of the new E-series truck? (Devs said it has hidden talents)

In SpinTires, E-7310 used to have extra repair addon and it was also a towing crane. In Mudrunner, they ceased this feature for whatever reason...
One of the certified mods for this game is that crane. As well as a lot of old models from the OG Spintires game. They're certified and by one of the devs I think.

I love the MAZ 7429! It's one of my most favorite trucks in the game.
Yeah the only difference I could find was when all wheels drive, on the E-7429, was turned off that the 4 middle wheels turn instead of all rear wheels. Other than that it's the same wheelbase as the E-7310. Its only shorter because it doesn't have the phat nose that the 7310 has. It does however have a V8 instead of a V12 which I guess just gives it the same power to weight ratio as the E-7310 as shown in this test. I'd still pick a C-432010 over them! XD
E7310 has repair Addons! The improved saddle coupling has 100 repair points. E7429 has also a repair addon with 100 points! And E7310 has 800 fuel ponts (more than E7429) E7429 has only 600. So it's by far the best truck.

I prefer the MAZ 7310, if only because it looks the most militaristic. The MAZ found in the workshop however, IS militaristic in that it hauls a howitzer for garage points, a missile for "repair" points, and three MBTs for "dealing with stubborn lumber".
How do you like the new Valley Map? To me it's to easy. Just time consuming. Even one red staring it in hardcore, wasn't hard. Getting to all the watch points was a slight bit of a challenge but after that, getting the garages opened and lumber to the mills are just a leisurely drive. Shallow water crossings, not much for sharp turns or obstacles, no steep hills and barely any deep mud.
Grimmsha72 you are right, the new map was wellcome, but far to easy. Played it both casual and hardcore in a few hours.
The E7429 in 4x8 powers the 2 center axles. It is not as useful in 4x8 so I still prefer the 7310. Got to try to conserve fuel in these beasts.
Side note the B131 is probably my favorite truck in the game. Can do a good deal of jobs and does well on fuel.
SD1ONE you assumed correctly. They are both 8x8 when you need it but it isn't always needed. With the 3710 powering the rear 2 axles in 4x8 mode (all wheel drive off) it still can do well. The 7429 with all wheel drive off is almost useless unless you are on pavement.

The B 131 gets stuck everywhere without 4x4 easily worst truck in spintires.
SD1ONE yeah, the blue one I thought it was 131. I did confuse the 2.
I don't remember if it's E or D class, but my favorite out of the big trucks is the other 8X8 (the one you didn't feature here), I'd rather use that one then either of these two. Main thing I like about these two is they have a fuel tank. Otherwise I'd drive the other 8X8 hand down any day.

The 7429 wheelspins a lot. While the 7310 just plows through.
The 7310 can carry repair points. Just to list it's features:
The E-7310 is a rescue vehicle, and so carries with it important attachments for getting vehicles out of tough spots.
These are:

I wasn't impressed with the new truck when I tried it. It looks cool but it doesn't perform as well as some of the other ones.

The swamp test wasn't fair. You put the old E far faster into manual, thus climbing out of the first puddle way earlier. The new E was catching up quite well in the next swamp, it still lost. If you would've taken the old E through the puddle in auto as well, it would have failed.
Personally, I like the new E more, because it combines the flexibility of the D with the power of the old E. Of course, the old E is unstoppable in the mud, but I often found it struggling with steep hills or rocks. It takes damage very easily, thus having 1000 points. I can get way further with the new one though it only has 600 points.
But, to be honest, I was always rather a fan of the D-type than the E, so the new one was my choice from the beginning. Nice video!

The E-7429 is such an unusual looking truck. The Body doesn't go with the chassis. It seems so small. As if the cab of a normal Russian cabover was taken, and put on the chassis of a MAZ. Kind of like whoever designed it, did so out of improvising, and recycling of other truck parts. They couldn't find a cab big enough to accommodate the chassis, so they just fitted whatever they could find. It's so awkward looking. It doesn't look very big. But the chassis is on par with it's competitor. It's like a 7 foot tall, 500 pound man, with a small head. It's just an odd look.

May I point out a couple of things?
First, just some missed info. 310's default driving wheels are the back while 429's are the middle 2. Does effect their abilities without AWD.
Second, the swamp test. At least on PS4 the 429 also has that fuel attachment, so I don't see why they weren't equipped the same.
Third, the mud test. You bottomed out the 429's trailer twice, the second time being when it was trapped completely. I'm calling invalid result on that one because the 310 was better driven.

What is their fuel economy. Many maps are restrained by how far you can get with your fuel.

I like both trucks, for some reason carrying logs with the 7429 feels more satisfying, but stick a fuel cistern on the 7310 and you get a sexy beast aswell.
But do a follow up video where you test them on those pesky white rocks. I found that the 7429 does much better due to better ground clearance, the 7310 always gets stuck on them, even on the smaller ones.
Also there must be some bug with the 7429 when hauling the garage semitrailer, it seems to get stuck while no part of it but the wheels are touching the ground....

You high centered the semi trailer more than once behind the 7429, when the 7310 itself high centers easily
Should have put in a test to show which truck can take least amount of damage to prove their reliability

these results are fine and all. However, in hardcore the 7310 has 2 major advantages the 7429 can not touch. Full dif lock always on in 7310 so no turning it on and off to avoid damage. And rear 2 axles as drive instead of center 2 so it deals with uneven ground better without needing all wheel drive as much. This second is important because your load adds weight to both drive axles, increasing traction even more. I have yet to fully test the 7429 out side by side, but I do believe it does have the better ford depth. Other then that 1 plus, I can not say I would ever take it over the 7310.

The 7310 is a heavier piece than the mzkt that gives it a huge advantage. Weight means grip

The MZKT 7429 has a v8 big block engine, same as Maz 7310's. I Think they have the same chassis but diferent suspentions
Raul Figueiredo the 7310 has a massive 38.8L v12 diesel lol good for 500+hp and upwards 1500 ft-lb torque. They put them in various tanks and locomotives as well!

SD1ONE I think the a969 is marginally better than both Jeep's at mudding, but navigating over rocks and sticks the Jeep's shine through.

I never use these big trucks . They just burn way to much fuel and can’t maneuver in tight spots. I stick with the smaller trucks and keep the k-7000 handy for when I get stuck.
That’s true but I think the smaller trucks are just more fun in long run. I can winch 2 trucks together if I have to .

I tried 7429 in the Valley map, I think it is good, gear 1+ is easier use than 7310.
Didn't use 7310 on that map. I use the C-class with carriage with crane and middle log trailer, carriage packed up, middle log trailer loaded 13 unpacked logs, stuck at rock and fallen trees, used 7429 to resque, succed but not sure why lose 4 logs, the trailer didn't tip over. Then the C truck make it by it self, then transport last 3 points to finish the map. I feel both new trucks are powerful.
E7429 is the besttt!! Edit is that I like them both just prefer the e7429

The 7429 has much better ground clearance, hence a better truck when doing work with it. 7310 is just frustrating to play with, and im glad there is a useful 8x8 now
SD1ONE intresting you say that. Was testing both of them on the valley pulling the same (two trainers, one hiched to truck and other towing with winch) and the new one just sales over the rocks while I constantly had to get the 'king' unstuck. Oh and the fuel consumption is way better aswell. The new one is just a blast to play with, makes hardcore feel like casual mode😂
Braam Kotzé yeaaa... ahh no. Fuel consumption is lower on old E7310, higher with new one, and, the E7310, if you ever bother to do research, was designed for carrying missiles and artilary, on flat roads... do research next time
BoxyBoy I don't care what it was made for. In this game there is no missiles to carry nor just flat roads. And what you mentioned I already knew, my point is that I used them for the same jobs and find the new one more useful. Don't get your point though... The E7310 easily goes up into the 60's when in mud when carry and pulling mid length logs. The new one barely on the 50's. And the tank sizes are the same so far better range on new truck
