- In new Phase 4 update of snowrunner we got new Zikz 605R and In this video we'll test it against some of the best trucks in snowrunner to find out if it can beat the best to be the best.

Why do some people say that this is the only truck in all three games? It's clearly not, what about GAZ-66, Ural-4320 or UAZ-469?

Well, the Maz 535 (Zikz) was produced from 1958 to 1964, so it's one of the oldest Russians

the secret is in size of its tires and their weight. It basically uses superheavy mudtires with same stats as kolob, azov or CAT, but at the same time zikz is lighter with better power to weight. Bigger tires allow it to not get stuck in deep mud.
So light that is sometimes hangs suspended from it's semi-trailer.
just unlocked this thing. took me about 10 hours total and countless accidents. but it was extremely satisfying when i got this thing in the garage
Its nice to have a beast like this is the game, hopefully by the end of the 2nd season pass a version of the E-7310 is added and it can reclaim its rightful throne as king.

My favorite part of Snow Runner is the Trials. I REALLY wish they would release a bunch more of them. I beat Tumannaya Pass on my 2nd try, Escape from Tretyakov on my 1st try. Aftermath was 1st try and The Slope took 11 tries before I figured out I can sit the craft across the bridge and go with an empty truck. Love the Trials.
This was always my favorite mudrunner truck. I was hoping to see more of the Soviet trucks in Snowrunner but I'll take what i can get. Luckily they support console mods.
We are getting another year of maps so we'll see many more trucks!
I love how at the end when it's in between the two kolobs it fires up and blows smoke on the two, and then the next scene it's in the middle of the two cats and doesn't vomit on them. Awesome videos from you, keep them coming for years. I have pleaded to developers to come out with a train simulator game because think about it, the only good train game is horribly detailed and snow runner keeps things simple yet correct in feel, simplifying things just enough to make their games playable without falling asleep, so if they made a train game that was real feeling, with close to correct controls, without making it difficult to play yet sounds and some main functions would be spot on.. that would be incredible.

The ZikZ is undoubtedly the best vehicle in the game as far as I'm concerned. It makes sense that it's so difficult to obtain. I'm so hyped though.
Yea, in the Snowrunner ofcourse. In the Mudrunner however, the E-7429 was the absolute best monster. It could load whole sawmill at once and It just rode no matter the terrain.
Getting “Big Zeke” was a game changer. Literally the only downside I have yet found is that it slides like mad on icy roads

Well of course if anybody can manage that huge Russian terrain its the Russians lol look at all the people that tried to take over and failed miserably...in part thanks to the miserable terrain one would have to cover with lots of people, animals and machinery.

Maz 537/535 are my beloved trucks since original SpinTires. Very powerful, short front overhang, pretty compact (in comparison with 7310) and cool rear balance suspension without leaf spring (so you cold load any load without lowering rear clearance). So it's cool, that this truck would appear in SW.
This is the video that finally pushed me to unlock this truck after more than a year of avoiding it 😂 it's fantastic, pulled the new Derry Special back to the garage like it wasn't even there

Yeah, I agree. I used to have the OshKosh Huntsman mod back in MudRunner. And a regular HEMTT mod. Both are absolute beasts.
Edit: Now that we have Season 2 on the horizon, we have to hope Saber Interactive would add it in. It'll definitely be under their fictional "Derry Longhorn" name.

In short; we are getting a more stable and easier to handle version of the Antarctic that also can have a Roof Rack for emergencies.
The only that is missing would be a Chained Tyres option and it would be "The One"
not only roof rack but it has 600 repair in trunk addon as well
just ad a tweak mod there are some balanced ones

@TrekStarLogic The Phase 4 it's on now, i spared some time to play yesterday, took me almost 3 hours, i managed to sneak up every road blockade, i went straight to the "A heap of work" mission, and then proceded to repair the truck, it wasen't easy though, got my truck stuck on thin ice above the lake 4 times before learning the right path to cross it, i used the DAN 96320 to deliver the goods, brought a Tatarin alongside to help me with the litte "shortcuts" i made heh
Would you be interested in someone making a special truck testing map for snow runner ? Like having drag strip, long mud pit, snow pit, towing zone etc etc ?

I sure hope not. It deserves every right to be as beastly as it is, because IMO it’s one of the hardest trucks in the game to unlock. It’s locked behind a large contract mission to get to the map it is on, and behind multiple road clearing missions.
Well for phase 4 sure does seem like it's a late game truck.

the kolobs perform so well with high trailers because theirs saddle is higher when suspension is lifted, so the "legs" of the trailers dont get stuck so easily
Im glad that it didnt dissapoint us, because thats really what we NEEDED! When I first drove the Kolob, I instantly felt how its more sluggish and heavier than monsters in Mudrunner, also felt less powerfull. But now, we have the solution.... But even though, in Mudrunner, the E-7310was by many the best, the E-7429 was by me, the TOTAL BEST in whole mudrunner. I used it first in the Valley map, and with 2 LOADS(medium carriage and medium cart=whole sawmill) I completed the map and by the way, it didnt struggle or EVEN stopped ONCE. Thats the grand legend for me.
I spent the entire day getting it. Time well spent.
Method to get through deep mud/snow faster: use low gear with AWD and diff lock and steer left and right

this zikz is not extremely overpowered, the other heavy trucks that are heavily underpowered. They don't have torque at all, they can't handle no difficulty scenarios at all. The devs shouldn't nerf this truck, but make the others a little better
I have finally unlocked...after 4 months of trying and failing...I have finally unlocked the 605R...I feel so accomplished now.
I love it. I waited for this truck for so long. Good old Mother Russia steel machine. Like a T34.
When first time i saw this game,its realy fun and i buy it.. but after playing with joystick its so suck... Need racing wheel..

Only thing that'd make it better would be a chained variant of its default tires. Icy roads is the only thing holding it back on the Amur maps.

Wow finally a non mod very food truck, but it also means that’s the upcoming phase 4 is gonna hard as heck.
i got stuck driving over the road wich went up then down (top of hill) and it scraped the trailer legs extremely over the road.. kolob did this with ease (active suspention) so all i could say as a disadvantage is that its high hitch is lower, and the legs of the trailer get stuck easier then kolob... but besides this, and a few missing attchments it is the king of snowrunner :) good video!
I have the long nose kolob but don't use the zig often it loves to make love to rocks while my white ank and voron trucks will skip over rocks with ease the zig just sort of gets stuck don't get me wrong it's a good truck but it has it's limits
And you clearly never used a kolob before active suspension was a thing for them they were crap b4
Personally I don't like the look of the snowrunner variant I prefer the mudrunner look as it's more realistic and just cooler
well, that can be said about almost all russia side trucks in snowrunner...they don't look as authentic as mudrunner or even better spintires where even the grills were unchanged.

It is the most capable offroad truck for sure, but remember to keep an eye on its fuel comsumption. This beast drinks fuel like water.

zikz is S on P2W ratio and it's sure in top 10 heaviest in terms of weight and it also has most powerful engine in game which is shared by kolobs, Antarctic and few others

Intended gameplay: drive through this deep mud to get to the next objective.
Me on Console: flys through the air in a train with a lo4f on the grill, all of which costs 6k in-game money.
I actually like Snowrunner tweaking the looks of trucks slightly, maybe a vid on style differences of trucks to real life, they're small, but noticeable, eg. The Voron AE has only 5 posts on the grill and square lights

Seeing how it performs, i might actually get it for my Russian map fleet, I tend to try and keep Russian trucks in Russia because of them being known as better than US trucks, but it might not see much use outside of Russia (and Eastern European countries if season two has some) because of that

Its a monster truck. But it is THICC so there is many roads it cant use. Sometimes shortcuts with a smaller profile truck, will save you tons of time.

Is the best. I usually play only russian/soviet trucks. The shaman 8x8 mod is also a beast. Nothing stops you.
check "information" when you do mud/water/snow tests so we can see the exact speed in km/h

Should've run the pull test with the 73210 its P2W is better than the Kolob and uses the same engine as the Kolob and the 605R. Of course the Kolob has an insane appetite for fuel, tips way easier than you think and hangs up on rocks way too easily, I have PTSD from trying to use the Kolob to haul the plane parts on Imandra and eventually just used the 73210 with the crane and literally just drove the 73210 all the way back to the airport with the plane part dangling off the crane.

It took me at least 6-7 hours to get this truck. Worth it.
Yesterday I managed to get it in hardcore by level 4 using a stock tayga with only allterain tires, took a while

These beasts are mega fuel guzzlers, they couldn't get to the next servo without running out. I had to park a large fuel trailer half way to the job...so I used the semi (that was pulling the fuel trailer) to do the job, I was half way to the destination anyways. :)
Even if it’s not the best, it’s still the King of Spintires.
Great review! The best part of all is that this beast is free! Just complete the Stargazer task in Cosmodrome. A few quick repairs and refuel using the maintenance frame add-on and it’s yours!

I got the modded version of this just so i could start a new game and get this in very early game and take it back to the starter map, and bone stock i'm not impressed YET...
Here is a secret so the silk was build that way so the engine can't get flooded if the water is to hight just added a snorkkleee

I'd argue that the vehicle you call the mud runner king gets beaten hands down by the k-700 purely on its superior fording and towing if a vehicle with a specific was needed I would drag it otherwise I would just use c-255 cause of it's ability with mud
E is king not only because of performance but it's addons too.... it's one of 2 trucks in mudrunner that can complete an objective in one go as it can take 8 lumber points and K-700 might be a good rescue vehicle but it's not very useful in lumber delivery. C-255 is also nice but it struggles with long logs (6points)

K700 with 4 point trailer does just fine.
The E tends to get stuck a bit too much for my tastes I also tend to winch with another truck to get it where it needs
i never tried that truck because it looks small but im gona have a go on it i only have ezov and tayga on my garage because they are the best trucks ive got 2 kolobs but im gona get rid of them too slugish and i fall asleeep hahahah thanks for the vid
