- Sometimes we may encounter a situation when we need a spliced rope, but it is not at hand.
What can be done in this case? Perhaps, that we can learn how to splice it ourselves.
This video will be a great help for those who are on the path of studying splicing. We hope that you will find this tutorial video useful and stay with us to see more videos dedicated to this topic.

You did great. Everything is perfect. How to finish the ends to look nice. tks.
Got to get me a spike. Good vid..
nice Alex
Yes a clear tutorial that I've been able to copy sucessfully. One question though. Is there a secure way to 'bury' the 3 ends? I find that the shortest ends I can leave that don't unravel is about 25mm. These do snag on what I am doing with the rope. I know that Heatshrink tube works, but I'd like to have a better looking finish than covering up my hard and profesional looking work. Thanks, Mark.
Hello, Mark!
We are very happy that our video was helpful!
As for the ends of the strands, there is a more good-looking and more professional-looking way to 'bury' them is to use a tiny diameter braided rope to whip and fuse the ends. It will look very tidy and won't let ends unravel.
Best, FBR
@@fourbrothersrope2780 I’d like to see that. It’s a nice clear instruction video, but it’s clearly not finished. Most people who don’t know how to splice also won’t know how to finish it off, & won’t be happy leaving it like that. But I appreciate the video because I learned something, just not quite enough : )
@@s-c.. Thanks for the feedback!
We're working now on new tutorials and will add instruction on how to deal with the ends in the best way :)
@@fourbrothersrope2780 It has been over a year and still there's no video?

It's impossible from the first third strand
You're doing a really great instructional video, which seems very clear video wise, but how are we supposed to hear what you're saying with such loud background music. Please remove the music and re-upload the video with just the vocal instructions. PLEASE!!!
Thank you for pointing out the problem of this video. We will pay special attention to the mistakes made in the following videos
Can slowly please
good video but very poor sound quality.
Music too overpowering
Thank you for your comment. We will focus on this problem for our next videos
Can not really understand. Music too loud, vocal is too tinny, echoing from hollow recording. I'll watch with sound off.
thanks for your advice! We will pay attention to it in the following video.
That yellow and white line on video was too much.
Looks great but audio is dreadful, unwatcheable.
