BTW: I bought a 2005 TJ X like yours about 4 years ago for my wife. She loves it and it has proven to be a very reliable and low cost to operate vehicle. Good luck with yours.
🤣 Thank you! My hair has it’s own personality. Some days it wants to be slicked over to the side, other days it’s just a mess (jeep hair - don’t care 🤣
@@gorillahd9247 When I bought it they said it was a Sport… but it has a damn X on it!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 So I call it a Sport X and I ask people to read slow to me 😂
@@DansVlog Darn nice TJ. Are you still running the stock axles? I'm about to swap in a full set of front and rear D44s on mine because I am running 35" Mickey Thompson MTZs.
@@gorillahd9247 They are the original Dana 35’s (I believe they are called). I would prefer to upgrade as you suggest. These axles have a weird left-right movement in them (which I hear is normal). I don’t know. New with 4x4’s
I have the same jeep silver 6cyl automatic 85ooo orig miles . Running 35s on it going to step down on tire size next round do more road riding these days and in my 60s now and getting a bit tougher loading up in it .
Nice Jeep I have had many.. XJ, CJ, YJ, TJ and JK ...Most of the affordable Tj's in my area have bad frames from rust/rot... There are still quite a few around that were taken care of.... The box frame rots from the inside out so anyone looking at buying one in an area that rust runs you really need to check out the frame get under and look around the top of the shocks where they mount, body mounts and the rails etc... Also the 4 cylinder motor is pretty wimpy, the 4.0L straight 6 is a way better option if you can. What are you doing with that hair my man????
@@DansVlog I was Hired by imi and srm. I declined both. Just didn't pay enough for all the home time they claim you'll miss! Hope it's working out for you.
@@19TL85 I guess every area is different. It’s not bad here in the Savannah area. The endless $1-$2 a year raises are amazing. We got folks here making mid to upper 20’s an hour with amazing benefits. Like any job, there is always some good and ALWAYS some bad.
With these 33’s, my Speedo-odo is off by a lot so mileage is hard to keep up with. I go from full tank to fuel light in 190 miles but like I said, it is way off so definitely getting 230-250 a tank (17 gallon tank 240/17 = 14-15 mpg). I think it’s a 17 gl tank.
dan .so good to see you you again al g from new york
Thank you Allen! Good to see you as well
Congrats! I can't wait to get my TJ as well for camping adventures and light off roading

The Sport and the X are different trim levels. I have a 2002 TJ X. The Sport has features like tilt steering and cruise control. Very nice Jeep sir!

I like the 33’s. Look good and not too tall. They kill the power of the engine tho. A real turd launching off the red lights
@@DansVlog That it is
I see one of these for sale near me, with an automatic transmission. Are these easy to work on? I want a car I can do repairs on myself.
Very easy!
