Joan looks so beautiful with her nature red hair. I was never a fan of her wearing those wigs in her later years. No shade, it took away from her beautiful facial structure. That beautiful distinctive voice. She is so missed. Love TCCOC! Thank you for keeping her concluding years and legacy "alive" and sharing it with her devoted fans ❤️
I'm 49 and although I had of course heard of Joan Crawford for a long time, on a whim, I started watching her movies about 3 years ago. Sudden Fear, what a classic! I've watched a number of her other films, and have many more to watch. I became immediately hooked, because Joan put everything she had into every performance. She has such a mesmerizing effect on the viewer. You can't take your eyes off of each scene she's in. And with this video, she again commands your undivided attention. Joan genuinely cared about this and as I've learned did so much for people that she didn't publicize. I've come to love Joan and think of her often.
Thank you for posting this. I may be wrong, but I recall the same footage being used for the 1974 Telethon, introduced by Ed McMahon. Miss Crawford was a woman of quality.
Among the many things I loved about Joan was that she was not afraid of hard work. She made it all look effortless, but it was her unflinching determination and fearless preparation that created her image of elegance, beauty and self-confidence.
She always carried herself with such class and dignity. Despite all the horrible things that are now associated with her , this still comes across. Always a star⭐️💥❤️
Very heartfelt and moving.. well done, Joan!! 😔🤗 Thank you to this great channel and page and website. I am blessed beyond measure to be learning more and more about this fascinating lady.
JC always delivered in spades when she did these pleas for donations. Simple, powerful and moving. I remember she also did in-theatre messages for something called the "Jimmy Fund." Oscar-worthy stuff: Bravo, Joan. R.I.P.
Joan quoting John Donne's "For Whom the Bell Tolls" is so apt in this telethon appearance. Joan delivers the message with such grace & sincerity. She came a long way from Rockingham Academy.

Wow she still had it - the diction, the eloquence, the range of supple facial expression…and tgat VOICE ❤
To the owner of this channel: you must have worked so hard to find these gems. Just wanted to say good job and thanks

La Reina ❤️ 👑
Not many Diva's took time to do such commercials for crippled children; wish you very happy and safe dear Joan.
She was kind to a fault. There was no fakery there.
🥰
Joan did much for charities, and often would not tell anyone.
