Very nice arrangement and beautiful playing! Do you know in which mode/tonality is the introduction (the bit taken from the arrgt. for violin and orchestra)? It always sounded weird somehow for me.

GGbreizh Thanks so much! It’s actually simply a four-bar transition from A minor to A major, which creates the cadence to D minor where the theme first starts.
