  • It is time for me to step away from the Cyberpunk city.(At least for a little while). I missed the greenery, the trees and the bushes so much, and my on and off visits to the hanging gardens of Babylon where not enough for me any longer. I needed a larger scale gardening project. So in this episode we start on a new project; "The Mansion Gardens".
And to kick things off, we will start to explore building realistic looking waterfalls. I've been wanting to do this for the longest time, but never really found a good solution to the complete lack of dynamics a minecraft waterfall has. Untill now! Browsing on Pinterest I've found an amazing design by 'Thibault Simar' and using his design, we are going to create a waterfall of our own today.

Man, you deserve way more views than you get. Great work! Love the hanging gardens of Babylon video’s. It’s such a great build.
A few questions though, I posted it on another video, but that video was a few months old.
How tall is the hanging gardens build? What is the width/length? Doesn’t need to be exact.. an approximate is perfectly fine. Just so I get an idea of how big it actually is🤔. Kinda wanna try building something inspired by this build.
    10/10 build, all of it😍.

Hehehehe, yeah more views / subscribers would be nice, but I guess I must be doing something wrong (Only I have no clue what it is that i'm doing wrong).
The hanging gardens buidling is approximatly 320 blocks long, 320 blocks wide and 80 blocks high.
The tallest tree on the top level reaches to about 30 blocks higher. (So this brings the total build height to about 110 blocks) Ohw, and don't forget about the 5 block high base section.)
I have this build as a download on my Patreon:

Your ability to make trees and use gradients are most certainly enviable for me. Lol.
Your terraforming is also excellent. I love the way the roots of the trees are situated into the rock, and I also love the the waterfall's appearance, with one steep fall and one more gradual. If I was going to add something else, I would just add some extra trees to the top of the hill where the water sprouts out from.
Overall, this terraforming build was very aesthetic and beautiful.

Making those color gradients and designing the custom trees is also for me so much trail and error. I sometimes build something, only to remove it the next day because i just don't like it.
The idea for adding the trees on top is certainly going to happen, but I haven't quite decided yet it there will also be something else on top of that hill. I got a nice idea, it only needs to develop a little bit more.

@@Markoy2011 I feel the pain of constant trial and error since I build in Minecraft often as well, but the effort you put into this build certainly paid off.
I hope you have a good day, mate.
