World Championship Judo Kosei Inoue v Stephane Traineau

A World Championship Final judo bout between Kosei Inoue of Japan, and Stephane Traineau of France in the -100kg category.
Perhaps around the year 2000,(found on an old video tape).

Yes, it's always better to see these recordings in their original screen ratio, rather than in a stretched out wide-screen format which consequently distorts the images of the judoka themselves.

Inoue clearly scored an Ippon at 2:25 As in other sports, refereeing is biased towards local athletes

No, he left the sleeve go and had no control over his opponent. Even today, that would ma wazari or no score at all

If Traineau had done to Inoue what Inoue did to Traineau it would have been an Ippon. Such a shame to see such biased decisions in Judo.

Traineau was also world champion in 1991.
