Kuk Sool Kwan Grandmaster Huh Mongil Full Interview 2023

In May of 2023 I filmed this interview of Grandmaster Huh. Growing up training in Kuk Sool Kwan, Master Huh made an everlasting impression on me. He is an incredible martial artist and human being. It was an honor to have been able to put together this interview. Enjoy!
Master Huh Bio:
Grandmaster Huh Mongil is a 9th Dan in Kuk Sool Kwan Hapkido. Kuk Sool Kwan is a school of Hapkido that is a mix of joint locks(hapkido), Shaolin Kung Fu, and Korean Royal Court martial arts. From ages 6 to 11 Huh trained in Wrestling and Palkagi in the mountains of Gangwando, South Korea. At age 11 he began training in Kuk Sool and learned from masters Kim Chun Soo, Yong Kyu, and Kim Woo Tak. In 1974 he founded the special forces martial art “Sal Sool Kyuk Too Ki” while part of unit 30 Soo Saek Dae Dae. In 1982 he immigrated to the U.S and ran martial arts schools from 1984-2000 in Orange County, California. Master Huh still resides in Orange County.
