      No just the mortars which is stupid but they are illegal in a lot of states, Government doesn't like fun

      ....or fires: more than 100 more calls to Denver FD on July 4 compared to June 4. A house in my neighborhood burned down two years ago from a stray firework in their car port.

    How stupid is Colorado? If people are going to ignore the law anyway, you might as well make them legal and collect the tax money. Increase the fines for any damages caused as a result, and if they start a fire, jail time. Personally, I'd just as soon they enforce the law, as it is now. Fire works were going off a full week prior and on July 5th, at 3:30 AM I got woken up out of a dead sleep when some went off outside my open window.
