What is Launcher Manager:
Launcher manager is an that allows users to change the default launcher on their Android device or Firestick. A launcher is the app that provides the user interface for the home screen and app drawer. By default, most Android devices come with a stock launcher that is provided by the device manufacturer. However, users can install third-party launchers to change the look and feel of their device.

You never told us how to keep Launcher Manager from being removed.
Every morning I sit down to watch TV and Launcher Manager has been removed.
I re-install it like you did and the never morning it’s gone again.
How do you keep it from being removed?
Unfortunately Amazon keep removing it again, hopefully the developer is working on a fix.
@@cwtek1 I posted a comment similar to this on Tech Doctor UK’s latest video for Launcher Manager because I can’t find any contact info for the Developer SweenWolf and I know Tech Doctor is in contact with him.
Haven’t gotten a response from either of them.

Can someone please explain why does Firestick DELETE the Launcher Manager v1.1.8 ( 31/03/2023 ) Icon every 24 hours? Every day I have to uninstall the Launcher Manager App only to reinstall it again? The app continues to work 100% until 24 hours later when I have to repeat this process. Developer Mode is ON.
Unfortunately Amazon are now removing the fixed app we are waiting for the developer to find another fix.

Still doesn't work. It works for alittle while, then it says, the install version of launcher manager cannot be opened please check for an available update on your library. And I have the latest version installed. Version 1.1.8
I am hopeful that the developers will find a fix for this.

I had just bought Xiaomi TV Box S Google TV Launcher Manager 119 on Android 11 UDB Debugging enabled in Developer Options and clicking on launcher Options not starting Android TV home I had installed Android TV home and within Launcher Menager options USB ADB for home on clicking on Enable and it takes me to original Google TV home screen instead to Android TV Home Screen
I am not sue myself but if anyone else knows please feel free to post anything that may help!
Shouldn’t you keep the apk file? Because you can just reinstall it in a snap when they take it off. It’s literally only a couple megs!! Or it the code they block, and this version is unblocked?
It says she’ll is busy, toggle cycle ADB debugging!! I’ve restarted the tv twice!!

Installed 1.1.8 yesterday on FireStick 4K Max, worked great, but today FireStick started with stock home screen and Launcher Manager was gone 😟. Side note: 21203 shortcut not working in Downloader.
if you couldn’t get to 21203 then you probably downloaded the older version of Launcher 1.1.8 you can get the fixed version from cwtek.co.uk/d this fixed version shouldn’t be removed.
Thanks for your reply. I downloaded and installed the fixed 1.1.8 version from your website. This time it lasted for a few days, but now it is gone again and FireStick is unfortunately back to the stock launcher

I came to this video with V 1.1.8 previously installed, removed, reinstalled and removed again. The first time I assumed it was some bug, today I searched because I know it wasn't but you didn't do anything different here than i'd already done the other two times.
The version in this video was an updated version of 1.1.8 which had fixed the problem, I think this version might have been compromised a few days ago. The developer is working on trying to fix this.

We will see how long this version last the last two older versions was less than 24 hours hopefully since some things have changed on this, really just testing it to see how long it will last😂

ADB is used for debugging some apps need it switched on as they need to delve deep into the system!

@@mikedoyle8195 That's strange the developer hasn't had any other reports of this being removed again yet also mine is still there. Please try reinstalling the version from my website dated.31/03/2023.
I had to re-check to make sure you said you were going to show us how to stop it from being removed again.. You said it.. but you didn't show it??
Unfortunately the developer hasn't worked this out yet, but lets hope they will pull something out of the bag soon!

WTF, Still not working. I understand that Amazon Firestick does not want you to sideload Apps onto their Devices. Someone needs to program a Launcher Manager App that can withstand the test of Time and will not be deleted within 24 hours of installing it.
The developer is no doubt working on it but its not going to be as easy as he first thought!
