This is what MLP G5 needs to be more like! No disrespect to MLPFIM (or G4) which got me into the franchise. However if MLP is going to keep itself relevant it needs a reboot like an action adventure series.
You gotta be joking. Mlp is not an action franchise nor can it pull off being one. The folks making it have had decades to do proper action and always give up.
I hope you make a full review one you've finished watching, just because I would like to know your reaction once you have the full picture. You're just at the beginning, and it gets soooo much better!

The show is great but I wasn’t a huge fan of the show when I was kid I preferred shows like Kim Possible and fairly odd parents and i didn’t like shows with an over arcing story until I was older and i only became a huge fan of the when I rewatched it as an adult and the show is great and I’ve watched it the whole way through and the show gets even better after season 1 and seasons 2 and 3 are the best
I have, but I stopped around the episode where Stevonnie goes to a car meet or something along those lines. Still love the animation and charcters of the show even though I gave up on it. Depends entirely on when I finish it... but sitting down to watch anything non-movie related is proving tough atm.
I know. I'm accustomed to viewing episodes with two different titles as their own separate entities... so a two-parter without the same name means I have to be critical that it lacks that minimal yet albeit important cohesive thread despite them airing one after the other like a two-parter would on release.
I'm ranking the episodes as I go along so... you'll eventually see how my opinion of the rest stands up once I eventually find the time to get through it, and re-watch it again on Blu-Ray.

Given that I didn’t know going into it, that explains why I brought it up as it conflicts with how I conduct this and other videos on this channel. I count two-parters with the same title as one whole episode, instead of two separate ones because as they have the same overall narrative, they are one cohesive package. As a result of them being labelled differently, I viewed the first part worse than the second, which I wouldn’t have done if they were titled the same. It didn’t impact my opinion too much but it’s a sticking point I have to make apparent when I critique series in such a specific way.

Great Review! I didn't watch the show until the end of high school back in 2013. I felt in love with this show. Plus it's my favorite TV show.
The first 2 episodes were first aired one after the other. There are more episodes that have different titles and are immediate follow-up episodes
