I have a question about the heated mirrors and wipers. After installing this radio, do I lose access to it? I can't see the physical buttons on the device, are they in the app?
Just curious, how well do you think the compatibility would be with my 2008 ISF? I have the same Navigation system as you but was looking to upgrade. How was the sound quality in conjunction with the Mark Levinson system? Also, which retailer did you buy the radio from? I saw you dropped a few different links.
I do have the same question. I really don't want to lose the Mark Levinson sound. Can you still make use of it? as far as i know Mark levinson handles 14 speakers. how about this?
Any latest update on this head unit? specifically looking for reviews on: 1) Lag, is it lagging after a year? 2) How is the audio sound? I saw reviews of other brands where the audio was subpar compared to the factory head unit. 3) Is it compatible with Android Auto and/or Carplay?
The online sellers actually have a picture showing that your navigation model would not fit this specific unit. I do not know if they make another version to replace the navigation version.
Hey John great video! Thanks for the in depth walk-through on the wiring going to attempt this DIY myself. One question can you explain the reverse camera a bit more how are you powering it, rear wiring, etc?
Honestly, even though it was plug and play there the wiring alone probably weight a couple of pounds. It would of been a nightmare if you had to splice anything.
Hey I’ve installed it and I’m having so problems. First one is my audio cuts out like I’ll be listing to music then it’ll stop playing then comeback on. Second my VSC and ABS lights are on. Third my hazard lights don’t work and when I lock/unlock my air the blinkers don’t go off.
Hi, I bought the same screen but the touch screen doesn't work for me to set the air conditioning and other things like the time. I don't know if you had any problems with this, do you know how to set it? thank you
Can anyone help. When I first set it up I had no sound but was working and I had to just keep playing with it and out of no where the sound kicked on. Now a week later the music is playing but no sound again no matter what I try
Mine has been fixed. Scan the car, know the exact airbag location causing the light to come on, unpluck the sickest of the airbag and plug it back in. This is what I did in mine and the light dissappeard.
@@JohnNguyenVincent Thank you! Has the unit ever crashed on you? And did you ever have to solder or use crimp connectors during install? I believe you mentioned everything just clicks into its respective slot, but I just wanted to make sure.
I read on some Amazon reviews that the 2gb ram version takes 30 seconds to boot up I believe is what they said while the 3gb is instantaneous, idk how true that 2gb ram version review may be though

Where are the front and rear defroster buttons? I think they are important.

What color wire did you connect the back up camera to ?

3rd ask for this. 2008 ISF being bought and screen is first thing I’d want to replace
@@steve09daley won't work with Mark Levinson audio or a factory nav system.

Also which camera did you end up using and how is it receiving power? Is it always on or only when in reverse?
Was that the stock camera you were using?
How does the audio compare to factory head unit?
Nice vid. Was yours an ML system? I just installed a unit that looks very similar to yours and am having an issue with my fans/ac & hazards. 😬
What about the defrosters?
How many connections from the car are not used. I was confused having stuff left over from the car that comnnects to nothing
Hi John , please I need some help. I get display from the cd but no sound.

My steering wheel control buttons snd other buttons aren’t and my climate controls don’t work in the app, they don’t let me turn it on etc
Would this work if you don’t have the nav screen from factory? Looks like the bottoms piece is the same
Question, which wire gets sound to the cd player? I can see the display, but no sound.

Yes me too
What resolution and doesn’t have a mirror link?
any recommendations for a 2008 es350?
There is a more OEM looking android radio for this car. Did you see that one before deciding on this one?
There was a more vertical screen one but I still prefer physical buttons
The link on Amazon says it won’t fit the 2IS with navigation and AC control. What does that mean?
that means it is incompatible....
Do you have any problems with the climate control not working?
Yeah once, we unplugged it. Put the stock headunit on. Turn it on. Then put the aftermarket one back on and it works fine now
Oem camera works?
does it come with a camera kit?
