I have been able to avoid Ortho surgery for my knees, my lower back, rotator cuffs and elbows - just from watching your videos Bob and Brad. The stretching and strengthening exercises are excellent. Those, along with taking certain supplements and weight training - it has helped immensely after spending almost 30 years in the US Army Special Forces - literally hundreds of static line and MFF jumps, rappelling, thousands of miles with heavy rucks on my back, operating in all terrain around the world. I do NOT trust the VA to even take my temperature, no less go to them for any medical treatment. So, thanks you guys. At age 63 I am hoping I can continue to feel this good and keep the bad aches and pains at bay.
I've been able to avoid back surgery thanks to physiotherapy. Bob and Brad are a great supplement to the work my PT has done with me.
Fantastic!

That’s amazing! I’m 63 and was offered a knee replacement in 2015 and refused. Holistic or bust I say! My breakthrough technology glutathione product and molecular hydrogen water have literally taken me from restriction and inflammation to power walking daily without limping! Lots to celebrate!
Well as one who has had knee problems for a very long time, the best way of doing squats is
Face the wall, while your toes are actually touching the wall. You’ll be surprised by how little you can squat. This way the knees don’t go over the toes, and you don’t make you knee’s problems worse.
wrong, knees over toes are the best method to train your knees to get stronger.
@@liferipsfam That's like saying to make your breathing stronger you need to live in a high polluted area ... Technically it works (because you have to breathe more air and filter more, just like squatting knees over toes forces your knees to be stronger), but it is destructive so it's pointless
@@MultiChantal22 your analogy was terrible. So terrible, I can't even fathom to say much more about it that it's just terrible. lol. And no, Knees over toes are not destructive. That is dumb to say. Ask the KneesoverToes guy on all tons of high level athletes using his training to help build a stronger foundation. It simply works, but you are too indoctrinated by old science.
Thank you. I have been watching for awhile and getting lots of help from you two and it's about time I thank you. Lots of good information from all your videos!
Don’t ever change your intro
No doubt. Total classic!
It makes me so happy dude.
How could they when it’s the greatest intro on the internet? Lol
You two are a great team. Thank you both for taking the time to help others. I get a lot out of your videos.
You guys are awesome keep up with your videos. I have followed your videos for about a year now and just by doing the suggested exercises and sticking to it. I have lost 30 pounds kept it off and I never get the back pain I had before. I suffer from sciatica in both legs and a spinal curvature that occured from a car accident i use to have chronic pain and now I have little to no pain. Thank you so much you both saved my life with these videos. Your truly good people. Bless you both Bob & Brad 🤩
Do u still hav sciatica and low back pain or is it gone???
@@bholu1992 I still get it occasionally but it's not even close to as bad as when I left this review I also adjusted my diet and supplements to address inflammation /flare ups/back brace when working (prior I was unable to work and now I'm back to work 😍 I still stand by these exercises it's what jump started my recovery/maintenance.
Watching your videos has helped enormously. I can now play ice hockey again without pain, other than from taking slap shots to the shins.
You are like the "car talk" guys of PT!
Haha! 100 percent. Are they still on?
I thought that also
Love what you do! Thanks for keeping us healthy! :)
Thanks again for yet another good video with value
Very good instruction. I was an aerobics instructor (back in the eighties, when participating in an aerobics class really meant something for fitness) . I was very excited seeing your instruction with the step. A fitness instructor developed “step aerobics” with the blessing of her orthopod to rehab her own knee. The instructions you gave validated what I had shouted out during my classes: weight on your heels, squeezing your glutes up and down on the step.
Turning my knees outward while bridging is how I was finally able to feel a burn in my glutes.
After years of being perplexed by people claiming that various exercises activate glutes while I never felt a thing there, knees out and doing bridges did it for me. Will try cycling with my knees pointed out away from the bike to see if I’m finally able to feel my glutes while cycling.
Bob and Brad, Thank goodness you have this channel. I got tnr this last Monday. This is the most painful surgery ever!!! I will “think “ about having this surgery again for the other knee. And I am 57 years old. I cannot imagine people doing this in there 80’s. They have to be mentally strong! I watched you two before and after this surgery. You come off as being very friendly and caring. I can also tell you are good friends too. Whenever I just want to give up, I watch you two. You guys make me feel better. Thank you. Peace be with you both and your families too.☺️
I'm saving up for a Levitate brace by Springloaded of Canada to avoid, or at least postpone, a TKR.
Thank you for this video and exercise examples! Helps a ton 💪🏼
Thnx for the info guys. This will help ease the pain of squats. I will try both ways. God bless you
Wonderful. You guys are helping so many people.
I needed this one. Thank you!
Love watching you two
Thank you B&B
You tWo are
GREAT
Have to be careful not to upset sciatica. Your timing is impeccable
I recently pulled (probably shredded) the muscle tissues on left leg way up into the glute and around crotch area. it's been four weeks now and I have it wrapped, using TENS. This is good stuff; can't wait to try this when I can. Right now, I still cannot bend and reach. Thank you.
Fun to watch and I learn something new! Thank u guys
Love you guys! I have NMO, which has weakened my lower extremities. Your videos have helped me so much. Thank you!
Hello guys thank you for the video on working on glutes. Now both of my knees have been totally tiatium knee replacement. I don't have the flexibility in my knees to do squats very good but this one video will help me out so thank you
Thanks for this B& B! My Podiatrist suggested my glutes are weak, which then causes tight calves after excercise, which then caused plantar fasciitis.
as usual: exactly what I need. sadly, the PT people i'm going to see at 10 am this morning are not providing this kind of detail.
Thanks you guys are very informative.
Thank you for yet another great vid ! :)
Best intro music on UA-cam and I subscribed!
Thanks for tips on protecting our knees. I miss the question time at the end of the instruction😀
Thankx bro
Thanks. I'm starting a routine.
Thank you 🌸 I’m just starting so I’m super clueless which ones are the right ones. I’ve seen a lot of people do these!
💕 Thanks😊 Very informative 👍💞
Hi Bob&Brad, please, would you show some excercises to those people who have chronic cervical or neck pain?
Been doing everything WRONG ,,,,!!!!!!! THANK U SOOOO MUCHO FROM DIANA FROM PUERTO RICO. Can’t wait to practice this the right way.
Guys, could you up the volume of your audio during the video please? It's very low if you compare it with the theme tune, or most other videos on UA-cam.
Thanks!
I love these guys
Great video....also when doing squats make sure you keep your chest lifted.
thank you -your guys are so helpful-- mk wis
Thanks
You guys always cheer me up! The world is in dire straights..but there is, thankfully, Bob And Brad to make us all feel better in more ways than 1.
Hello, I am looking for exercises for lower back pain, strengthen glutes that are non-floor exercises, because I cannot do those types of exercises. I noticed some of the non-floor, standing up exercises in some of your videos. Could you provide some more of these exercises? Thank you.
damn I LOVE your style. so authentic. reminds me of the old days :) subscribed!!!
What about "crepitus"? What to do when popping and cracking knees and hips when going upstairs?
My knees and hips popped I started regularly squatting and eventually the popping stopped.
Yes. Finally.
Thanks for the half squat. I have had both knees replaced.
You guys are so cool!
Any special consideration exercise-wise for folks with double knee replacements?
Thank you so much ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🥀🥀🥀
😂. You two are funny!
What is your reccomendation fir cervical straightening pain? I've been through chiropractic and physical rehab with no relief
I think it was in the aarp mag that I saw that exercise recommended as good for hips. Also.
Are these good for unstable knees? Mine periodically buckle. Thanks.
12/6/23 Viewing and learning; loved it!
What if pain is in your SHIN w squats and on same side you have glute pain and have had ITB spasm (it’s still sore). I’ve always been told I have weak glutes and I needed your review. Thx!
Omg I love the theme song
Shoulder tendonitis impingement, do you have any videos on what type of exercises I can do in the hot tub for this? Thank you in advance
I'm one of those patients that does not usually fall into the larger percentiles. And my questions is what if squats don't hurt my knees, but glute bridges do??? My knees feel almost "tight" as if a muscle or tendon is being pulled the wrong way during the bridge.
Low bar squats & deadlifts.
Bob & Dan, I would like to buy a table like or similar to the one in your office. Where can I buy an inexpensive one?
My glutes need lots of work.
Thanks for "help with the knees". I have 2 meniscus tears in one knee; Dr says I can run and skip all I want; however, my GP looked at the papers, and says the tears are extreme. Knee Dr didn't speak in layman terms, so I'm considering returning to him and getting more info. I've had better results at the gym, being careful. Do you have any suggestions for workouts at the gym ? Thanks for any info you can share !
Have y’all made a Achilles video? Every once in a while when i exercise (running or sports) my Achilles gets a big pain every time I put pressure on it...I don’t know if it’s not stretching properly or what but stretching does somewhat work but not completely
Is the step up exercise a no no if you have bone on bone oa knees?
When doing bridges, I totally feel my hamstrings contract. Is is possible / preferable to work the glutes alone?
My weak glutes have killed my back - hips - & knees.
Intro is ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉❤❤
I had done my ACL operations nearly 7 months ago but I don't have balance in my knee while walking and knees get skid when I walk.i do swimming and cycling regularly.what has went wrong with my surgery??
What is your opinion on wall sits? Don't they put stress on the knees in general even if they strengthen the quads?
I don’t understand why you didn’t mention standing and on the floor leg lifts to the rear. Aren’t they good?
The audio was low on this one. Otherwise, great video.
Bob must give us some tips on how to build muscles too. :) The guy with the Bull tee on.
Will do!
I miss you two together 😢❤
Glutes fricken Glutes my back is out trying to do glutes 😅
I’ve had a knee replacement 3 years ago. I’m a 55 year old lady. Can you tell me if it’s safe for me to do the kettle ball squat, if so how heavy should the weight be?
2-4kg. It’s more for stability than ‘weight’.
Should person with tailbone pain do this ?
Love the videos please fix audio!!!
Sound is really bad
*bob makes a poop reference*
BRAD: “BAAAHHHHB!!!!!”
its like a tv show
Much easier to hear with your new mics.
Thanks for this. I have experienced a lot of muscular atrophy in my quads and glutes as I've aged. I need these exercises in the worst way.
My thigh also feeling pain... is it normal?
Nice 👍
Brad my man😎😎 8:34
You got my like for "grunting and snorting" as well as good exercise content. Thanks!
LOL Thanks!
Can you please post some videos of abductors n adductor strengthening
Phil daru
@@michaela8121 what ?/
Technically abductors and glutes are the same thing
I cannot avoid the arc of the knee during the step up. I have bone spurs somewhere according to MRI so I suspect I'm weighting and unweighting different planes as I click and arc in pain. Twenty-five years ago I needed Speedplay Frogs as bike pedals because they allowed lower leg to rotate throughout each revolution. Can't even make a complete revolution of bike pedals in PT. You guys fixed my sciatica. Going to search for iliotibial band help from you guys. Don't want that total knee amputation surgery!
I liked their original down home set here better.
❤ Thank you 🙏 , I have knee problems and by doing the glutes exercise help me a lot.
My knee swelling and pain decreasing…. And I do this work in the gym or home! ❤
I spend thousands of dollars in therapy, and they don’t teach you this exercises, but recently I come across a video on UA-cam and I did some research about the knee problem and here you are saying the very same thing thank you guys. God blessed great human on this Earth’s
Glad to help!!
I get lot of cramps in my back thigh while doing a bridge
Gently stretch your hamstrings before and after. During bridges, squeeze more from buttocks (glutes) and contract abdominal muscles (core).
Sir,will these exercises help in IT band syndrome!
These exercises are good, but I found the step exercise a bit too hard for my knees.
8:44
Bob you dog you - this is a family show smh
When I listen to this with headphones I can hear almost demonic sounds haha.
I can hear them too, I hope it is just the headphones 😂
Wat
Kettle bell swings really mess up my back.
Is this gonna make my bottom smaller? My gluteus are weak butt I don’t want smaller 😂
No they won’t
These Yo Yo's ever answer back??
nutcracker?
8:30 Going ballistic not a good idea for people with poor biomechanics. Just a warning - don't do it too soon yet.
your booyah stik is too much money to be a stick i'll buy a mop
