I'm doing what is essentially the opposite of this whilst still remaining at level 1. I've been using my free time in the last few months to go through the entire game and do EVERYTHING at RL1 in preparation for the DLC. The plan is either (I haven't decided yet) to go into the DLC and stay at level 1, or to NG+ before the DLC and then level as needed with the (slightly) harder bosses (and no slowdown from swamps/lava) But I'll probably dupe the save and end up doing both once all the bosses in the base game are dead and the DLC is out
loved the video i did a rune lv 1 run a few weeks ago and it was a blast i used iron balls early game instead of the axe malenia was the most fun fight in the game at lv 1 made the fight 10x better
You are impressively good. I did the RL1 path too for the DLC and suffered against Mohg but God, it was a walkover compared to Malenia. On PS4, the impossibility to use some tools to practice some precise bosses's patterns makes the RL1 a patience game.
Love all your level 1 content. In your RL1 video you mentioned practicing Malenia - how'd you do that? Currently stuck at Morgott, he just one shots me and I don't have any time getting used to his moveset. Also love how you use memes and jokes, it's just the right amount to keep it light and not overload the video, really nice balance!
so generally how i practice any boss is I create a new file. then use cheat engine to give myself all the graces and any weapons i want to use. then I use ER tool to turn off death for me and the boss and i will fight them endlessly. For malenia in particular u can use a feature in ERtool called "repeat last action" to practice just waterfowl. If u arent on pc though the best way is probably just to have a save file outside her boss room that has 99 vigor and to fight her and then quit out before she dies. Im glad u enjoyed the video good luck with ur run :)
I think you'd be able to go to a late game boss early still, the attack power would function like levels. You can get to mohg early but he's really hard because you wouldn't be level 80+. Same as you'd be able to do later dlc bosses but they would be tough due to lower attack power

Ok bro I’m level 15 on Xbox and I still didn’t know you could boost ur stats that high I do dragon build at level 15…. I got 600hours.. so yeah
