I loved the idea of Soaring Earth! But i would like to suggest my own version of the first part!
The Blooming Comet.
After the events of Sun & Moon, a strong surge of Plantlife was found deep below the sea. Revealing a sunken abandoned 5th island! The Wai' Oma Island, and its sinking down Alola! we are given the quest to extract the energy from the roots of this sudden revigoration. The almighty Nature Mother pokemon, Papatapu.

Love this so much! I definitely think a new secret island would be the most realistic thing honestly but I mostly just wanted a reason to focus on Alaska after taking a vacation there lol
My only “problem” with this idea is the legendary lol. If it is mother nature, it should be Mama-tapu. I also think it should have the fairy type. I think a ground/fairy or just the fairy typing would be really good.
I also think that design for it should be inspired by a snake. Koko is a bird, Bulu is a bull, Fini is a dolphin, and I have no clue what Lele is. The reason for a snake is because of the theme of serpents wrapping around the planet, or serpents representing cycles of life when in the form of a circle. Pretty self explanatory how this fits the Tapu theme lol. The signature move could also be similar to Magma Storm, but with the fairy typing and a BP of 90 and accuracy of 90. If you don’t know what Magma Storm does, it works as a stronger Fire Spin.
The Z-Move (it obviously needs one) could look similar to Eevee’s Z-Move, but it would summon all the Tapu’s and unleash a combined Natures Madness that has a BP of 200, but has a small side affect of healing 1/3 of it’s HP. I would call this Z-Move “Natures Cycle”.
Sorry if this was a lot to read, but I really loved your idea of the DLC and wanted to add to it
Something I noticed is that the first part seems to be locked to the post game whereas the Isle of Armor and the Teal Mask can actually be accessed and be completed early since the levels in those parts are lowered if the player hasn’t become Champion

A fun mock-up you could do for the RR episode to make it more like Mochi Mayhem is to include Marshadow. I think it could fit in quite well.
It matches the name nicely, with its rainbow-like coloring in its full-power mode, its connection to space by its Z-move having "star in the name", and it's relationship to Ho-oh, the Rainbow Pokémon, via the _I Choose You_ movie.
As for slotting into the narrative, the arc's final boss makes that easy. Giovanni likes to keep it simple; all he's after is power, something the Mythical Marshadow would have in spades. I think if you tried, you could also draw up some parallels between it and Mewtwo (I'm not saying there *are* any currently, but to make them up)

This is really cool actually, but I’d like to add some things of my own.
Assuming base Sun and Moon are the same as they are IRL, with the Necrozma at the end of the Ultra Beast quest, you’d technically have two of them with the DLC in on game, which I’m not opposed to, but it just makes things a little confusing.
I’d like if the opposite Legendary (Lunala for Sun and Solgaleo for Moon) were the one that fused with Necrozma at the Altar, and you can catch said Legendary after fighting Ultra Necrozma.
I wonder how the Z-Crystals added in USUM would appear in this hypothetical DLC.
I would hope this DLC would allow you to catch more Ultra Beasts and old Legendary Pokémon like the wormholes in USUM.
There should be a Mochi Mayhem-like epilogue regarding Zeraora, considering he was added in USUM.

I totally forgot to mention that there would only be the one Necrozma lol. The one that is found in Sun and Moon wouldn’t be in this version of the game for everything to work. I like all of your ideas :) and I’m glad you enjoyed the video
Definitely feel like Dark Star coud have been fleshed out a little more.
My take would be that, in the beginning, Illima reports his trial site having been attacked by something. Whatever it was would have ended up stealing the Z-Crystal.
You would go to investigate, and fight Totem Raticate or Gumshoos again, due to it being enraged. (like you can do in USUM).
Afterwards You make your way through a few trial sights to try and find the cause of these attacks, and it leads you all the way up to the Altar. But along the way you will have ended up fighting the new Totems from USUM (Araquanid, Marowak, Togedemaru, and Ribombee).
Then you meet the Ultra Recon squad the top of the Altar. in this timeline they could be antagonists, stealing Z-crystals to appease Necrozma's hunger for light.
You fight the Recon squads main team of Ultra Beasts including the new ones, but afterwards they bring out the opposing version exclusive. But thats when Necrozma shows up, angered. It ends up attacking the Recon Squads legendary. That way you dont have to temporarily lose yours (that would probably be hard to implement having to consider balance around whatever level, moves, and EVs your pokemon has.)
So you use your Legendary Pokemon to gain access to Ultra Warp Ride (and in turn all the legendaries like in Crown Tundra and most of them in Indigo Disk) to go fight Necrozma.
What About Pokémon X And Y With DLC.
Could be something I attempt in the future! Though we’ll have to see how Legends Z-A turns out first

It doesn’t and that’s normal, none of those three comes from the same place (Zygarde is probably from Alola and the otehr two comes from a place outside the region). Why is mega only for some chosen people in XY but available to everyone in ORAS? Why can Lysandre’s Gyarados mega evolve if ME only happens to pokemon that really likes/trusts you? Why isn’t the mechanic kept behind a friendship requirement and why can you mega evolve a pokemon that hates you then? Why are the actual starters of this game the Kanto starters again? Why does Charizard gets two Megas? Why does Mewtwo gets two megas? Why does Mewtwo even gets megas when he’s an artificial pokemon created fairly recently compared to when the country was irradiated with Mega energy? Why does Mewtwo gets two megas even from a game design point? Wasn’t this mechanic only suppsoed to help weaker pokemon? Why can mega be used in Hoenn and Kanto despite it clearly being stated to only work in kaols because of the radiations from the canon? Why is Zygarde even in Kalos where it had nothing to do except wait in that dumb ass cave on its dumb ass snake tail? Why is Viridian forest in Kaols? Why is Mewtwo in Kalos? Why are the legendary birds in Kalos? Why is Kalos just Kanto but worse? How is Kalos just Kanto but worse? Why does Lysandre wants to kill the uglies? Why do the gym leaders sucks? Why is one of your friend’s main motivation « dance »? Why do we have friendly rivals let alone 5 of them? Why couldn’t we get at least one tougher rival like Blue in the mix? Why is one of the rivals siding with the evil team saying that it just had a different point of view at the end of the game (like it haven’t tried to genocide the not good looking part of the population)? Why can Xernas, the LIFE legendary power a death laser? Why is there a death laser in that game? Seriously, who had the dumb idea to put a detath laser in that game? Why does this game looks worse than BW? Why does this game have no camera work compared to BW? Why are the player characters in that game so bland and always smiling like dumbasses? Why is Zygarde so weak? Why is the champion so weak? Why is this game’s « story » so weak? Why is this game so weak? Why only 60 or so new pokemon? Why do allthe new pokemon suck design wise? Why do some people even like this crap? Why life? Why death? Why call it XY in the first place when it barely have anything to do with genetics? Why does this game makes a condom joke with freaking 10 years old? Why do we play as 10 year olds again when we finally could play as older kids in BW? Why does Lumose city sucks? Why will the game that potentially could have righted the wrongs of this game takes place exclusively in that confusing city? Why does a powergrid incident stops you from going places around the city? Why is there a powergrid incident with 4 freaking powerplants mere meters away? How is a swamp next to a desert? Why is the eastern city at the middle of the sea despite being located in the mountains? Why are the rollerblades that controls worse than your feet tied to the joystick and your feet tied to the dpad and the directional grid? Why is the directional grid still there? Why can’t we take off our hats despite a hatless model clearly existing? Why is the music of this game crappy rave music? Why is the music of this game rave music? Why does this crap game gets a remake before BW? Seriously, that one pisses me off…
And I completely veered away from ranting about the lack of lore or coherence (or competence) in this alledged game to ranting about this alledged game. Sorrynotsorry, as long as idiots keep defending the game that basically killed pokemon, I’ll keep on hating on it.
On the other side, SV had a proper worldbuilding, with a well defined history to its region, its king, its greediness, its crater, who went there and when they went there. It had characters I actually gave a fuck about. It finally let us play as a teenager instead of a 10 year old brat again despite the playable characte looking like an 8 year old (Florian/Juliana are supposed to be 14-15 years old according to the Teal Mask). The music was way better, and the scenario was written well enough especially towards the end which is the point you do NOT want to f up, had very cool new pokemon (for the most part, comapred to Galar that only had cool looking new pokemon… And Dracovish) and had a mechanic that ALL pokemon could use.
And it lagged, looked pretty bad and had glitches I will still see in my nightmares when (and if) I’m 64. But under that, there is potentially the best pokemon game ever made if only GF took their time polishing it.

Great ideas overal but 1 key factor was missed looking at the excisting DLC. Part 1 is always accable relativly early in the game and has a low level version largely beatable.
The isle of armor can be accesed the moment you make it to the wild area and starts at level 10 ending with the fight against 1 of teh rival characters at 25 with only the quest for gmax urshifu being post game locked,
The teal mask has even less locked behind post game. And becomes available as early as when you gain the ability to ride on your versions bike mon
This only realy means the setup should probably be chanced to make it acceble i would say around the time you leave the first island right after beating hala. Maybe the village elder is a old friend of hala instead and after beating him he is the one who ask you to go and help.
The only other thing i feel is a bit weird is how you catch the legendry in its weaken state earlier but then have to catch it again at the end of the dlc. Probably just have it not be caught on the first encounter and instead have some people from teh village show up who help you bring the bird back to the village where it will be nursed back to health while you off doing your quest.
All in all good points, I was mostly just thinking that ultra beasts are late game and wouldn’t make much sense so early. I chalked it up to this being the “first” DLC so it’s only post game, and they started to make it more early game accessible starting with SwSh. Good catch though! Cuz I failed to mention that in the video
Deeply in love with this concept!!! I imagine the tie in between Karawu's Fallers and the Ultra Recon Squad could be pieced together through exploring Ultra Space. Also, rather than rewriting Lusamine's whole arc for USUM and making Faba the pitfall, it would have flowed SO WELL for new Aether President Gladion to work with the URS and for Faba to have taken advantage of Gladion's new responsibilities to slip under the radar for the whole Rainbow Rocket episode.
What you've got here has a crazy amount of potential and Nintendo should hire you.

Such cool ideas! The only thing I couldn't shake off is how perfect a trip to a small section of kanto would be as a epilogue considering: team rocket could take place there, gladion (and I think lillie) goes there and that sun and moon was pokemons 20th anniversary release.

I like that new Legendary design! Though with Necrozma being moved to the second DLC, what'll happen with where it used to be in the original SM as the final "UB" in the postgame Looker quest?
I'd really like to see what you would do for X and Y, because Kalos is one of my favourite regions, and I really wish they were treated a whole lot better. Granted, I'm hyped for Legends: Z-A taking us back to Kalos, but imagining a hypothetical timeline where GAME FREAK locked in during the 3DS era and potentially fixed some of X and Y's flaws with DLC would be epic.
The Dark Star could also give Lusamine some kind of redemption in which she came back from rehabilitation
5:13 I’m pretty sure on the map you can see kitakami is landlocked and is thought to be somewhere in the area between Kanto and Sinnoh.

Gen 7 is my favorite generation, and these ideas are something I vibe with, and really see as part of being in the game.
Even if this means that QoL changes that USUM brought over like Mount Lanakila (Victory Road) staying devoid of trainers because the DLC only bring new content for the new places, and not altering the main game much. But despite that, I prefer having a bunch of new content to do at the end of the main game, and spend quite a lot of time diving into that stuff, like how I keep revisiting the new areas in Scarlet and Violet, and exploring it's fair share of new content.

A lot of the Pokémon designs, how unique and full of personality Alola is compared to other regions, and the story of the game being pretty damn good compared to a lot of games. Also part of me being biased towards the 3DS, I love that console so damn much.

Yeiterre is really fascinating to me and it looks so much like it would fit in beautifully alongside the Tapus in a way that I can't quite put into words. Although, was honestly expecting Yeiterre to be the one taken by Necrozma instead of the Eclipse duo. Considering it was said to have fought and lost to Necrozma, would've made some sense there.
This was awesome tbh, I think this could be dope to go back and do more for other regions too!

Gen 7 would have been pretty good with DLC. Most of what's good in US/UM is the new stuff (Rainbow Rocket, etc) and not what they changed in the base story. So if you basically added the US/UM content to the base game, that'd be a pretty good package.
I actually would have preferred "Pokemon Gun" in a way though. The Sw/Sh DLCs were alright, but I really would have liked to see an Emerald/Platinum-level of revamp/improvement/expansion to the *base* Gen 8 game. So basically I kinda wish the DLC/3rd version thing got switched on those gens.

6:33 If I can offer one piece of feedback, the main thing about The Isle of Armor and The Teal Mask was that they could be accessed at any point in the game, even prior to completing the main story. It would have been nice if you framed your 1st Wave DLC around that. Maybe something to keep in mind for the inevitable X & Y DLC video wink wink? Otherwise great video, I love this idea.

Small correction for the beginning: pokemon Blue is actually the third version in Japan. Yellow is less of a new version and more of an anime tie-in.
When they were bringing Pokemon to the rest of the world, they decided to change Pokemon green to Pokemon Blue, while updating any bugfixes from the Japanese version of pokemon blue. All wild pokemon data, trade etc are from Pokemon green, despite the name being Blue.
I remember there were talks of dlc as early as black and white. But the main problem was the hardware. Most 3ds games could be patched but the space on the sd cards were the main problem. Like you can store a giant dlc patch on modern ones but most people had 2gb cards that were just basic

I'm thinking that in terms of returning Pokémon for this hypothetical Sun and Moon DLC, any Pokémon that weren't in the original Sun and Moon Pokémon but were in the Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Pokédex are fair game

Really love the concept of those DLCs. I do think two parts DLCs with an epilogue are the best formula of Pokémon games extension. I would prefer them a little bit longer though. The idea of the first part "The Soaring Earth" is amazing ; totally buying it! The only little point I would change is the design of the legendary Yeiterre: I really like the design and the abilities but he look a little bit "too simple" or at least "you copy and paste" from real life totem. However, you have done an amazing job!
I love Yeiterres design, genuinely for the first time it’s great, but I think that making it more imposing, especially in its pose, maybe making its chest outward instead of it slouching would make it look way more demanding of your attention, but still great design 👍
They should make a legends Unova game in Alaska have that be where the king stayed and in it there’s a few towns/settlements throughout this massive open world that’s pretty accessible from the start yeah there might be some small cliffs or rivers or icebergs. You have to cross Pokémon you get from the main story, but it’s so open and pretty that it could work as a huge region where you have to run between the settlements that are in the middle of nowhere at least I think so
With how the OG S&M were I’m incredibly glad we got second games

Man, I would've loved visiting PokeAlaska. And maybe a plot about it in the anime as well.
This video game me a similar idea but instead what if gens 1-4 got sequel games instead of updates. Inspired by how Black & White got sequels set in the same region instead of updated games.
Like for example I can imagine Platinum being Ruby & Saphire's version of Gold & Silver where it lets us go back to Honen to find out what happen there. And we could get a time skip of the events that happened in the 2 years between the games. (Plus it's canon that gens 1&3 along with 2&4 take place around the same time)
And you could fallow similar themes like what was done in Black 2 & White 2! Like have 2 gyms be replaced with 2 new ones or an Evil Team themed around the Sky & Rayquaza (since the Team Magma & Aqua plots have been raped up)
Would love to try this especially with gen 4 which is my favorite
@@domidoodleYT I also think Gens 1-2 would be an interesting case since those games were basically sequels to each other. Maybe the first 2 (or in this AU 4) games could be some type of arc about team rocket. I also think you don't have to try that hard to make new characters for them because Let's Go introduced 2 new playable characters in place of Red & Green/Leif called Chase & Elaine. (and even a rival that being Trace) As for the new gyms it's a tossup between Bug, Flying & Normal because those are the only types that are not represented by a Trainer in Gen 1.

I would’ve loved to see a planet/earth based legendary to fit the trio of the sun, moon, and earth. However I would’ve replaced the dark star with something like the beyond matter as a reference to dark matter.
I also would’ve loved to see the legendaries who sent out Solgaleo and Lunala as they are considered emissaries, or messengers, of the sun and moon. Perhaps in a future gen we could see them as box art legendaries and it could be called Pokemon Star and Pokemon Satellite and link alola with them. Or the true sun and moon legendaries will be revealed in a legends alola game and the star and satellite legendaries would be its own thing with an ellipse legendary that acts opposite to necrozma, though with references.
While your idea for the first DLC was very well done and original, I think it would have been cool to have some event related to Zeraora or Marshadow since they did not get any special treatment which kinda made them forgettable.
I think the reason USUM didn't work as "third version" is for how the story in SM plays out
Previous generations had the legendary Pokémon being a creature summoned toward the end of the game, you have no connection to it and thus the third version can afford to have 2 of them and then hard a third member of the bunch
Just look at Emerald
On the contrary in Sun and Moon for the very first time you meet the box art legendary even before meeting your starter. Nebby is a character of its own, it will evolve into Solgaleo or Lunala based on which version you're playing, thus it's hard to have him in the plot and at the same time have a random Solgaleo/Lunala appear in the endgame with Necrozma.
A realistic way to make the USUM content integral to SM is to have it be a continuation of the post game quest where you catch ultra beasts for Looker, with Necrozma in ten carats hill being the point of divergence from which you met the Ultra Recon Squad etc
I won't delve into that, not because I have no ideas (I do in fact have them) but I don't want to go out of topic

I’m sure those DLC exist in one alternative universe with Pokémon anime, where Ash Ketchum’s story was ended on XYZ.

Liking how you made the 3 ultra beasts at the start the ones you can get across all versions. In this hypothetical would the ultra beast side quest be the same or altered in anyway. Will you include the 3 new mythical’s magearna, zeraora, marshadow at all in the dlc or will they be relegated to separate things
Overall loving the concept and the detail of the extra details like the name so I can’t wait to see the dark star
Also for swsh you could technically count the galarian star tournament as an epilogue
That’s exactly why I picked those 3! I think the quests would be the same? I didn’t think about that too much haha. For the mythicals they only got distribution events so i figured that would stay the same as well

Omg i love this video so much, it's so cool. I really like how this is excellent food for thought, in fact there are some things that are little unplausible in my opinion and that i would change.
First of all the premise is a little off. There's this land far away that is in trouble, and they send a distress signal to... Alola? And in the whole region professor Kukui of all people picks this distress signal and send you off. It sounds a little too far stretched imo, so i think that instead, the plot of the first dlc should be tied to the Ultra Beasts. After the events of the main story of Sun and Moon where Lusamine uses Nebby to open wormholes left and right, the same starts happening in the land of Karawu, knowing what happened in Alola tho, the professor of the land of Karawu calls Kukui, asking him for help since he was tied to that whole thing that happened in Alola (or one wild idea that i like even if it doesn't make sense, instead of them being friends they're actually siblings, idk why i like this idea but it sounds fun to me lol).
I'm cutting off the whole "Village Elder" thing because to me it opens so many questions that are left unanswered: "Why have these guys come to our universe?", "Why do they need the help of a random kid from Alola?", "Why haven't they experienced the memory loss problems that everyone who travels between universes without the right equipment goes through?", and so on. Instead, it could be tied to the lore, and i'll explain how in a second.
After getting this call, Kukui asks you to go to there because you already won against ultra beasts more than once. After arriving there, the professor of the land of Karawu (that from now on i'll call Alder, which is a tree that grows in Alaska because repeating "the professor of the land of Karawu" every time is going to give me a headache) explains to you that they need urgent help because the UBs are making it hard for the people of Karawu to go on with yearly rite for the awakening of Yeiterre.
In fact, in this alternate version of your alternate version, Yeiterre has a whole rite associated to it, a yearly occurrence in reference to the time the hearth takes to make a full lap which would sediment Yeiterre in the story a lot more than having it be the partner pokemon of some old guy from another universe, which i'll take the right to turn from story to lore. In fact i think it would make much more sense having the people of Karawu originally come from another universe but waaaay before the events of the games, but they lost all their memories due to the effect that all the other characters experience in the base game, and how have they travelled you may ask? Well, i think that it would be plausible to tie this back to Yeiterre.
In fact Yeiterre design is very cool, from an artist to another artist, it's really impressive for being your first try at designing a legendary, but i have to say that it's a little bit bland. It really just looks like the raven from the Alaskan myths "but Pokèmon", while instead legendaries usually develop on their base concept, but in order to not stretch too far from your idea, and given that we know that there are some species of pokémon born in the conduct between wormholes (cosmog, cosmoem, solgaloe, lunala and necrozma), Yeiterre could be just this, another creature originating from the conduct that like solgaleo and lunala can open wormholes. To develop its design a little further i would give it the same golden details of Solgaleo and Lunala, like you did in its shiny form, but i would switch out the central sun thing on its chest for the same galaxy orb thing that Solgaleo and Lunala have on their heads, or even hollowing that part out and putting a literal orb with that galaxy motif floating in that hollowed out part, all of this while of course mantaining it's general theme. This would also explain why the UBs are showing themselves in Karawu.
Of course, the player wouldn't get this info dump as soon as they arrive in the land, Professor Alder would simply say that the people of Kuruwa worship Yeiterre as their protector (this isn't a plot hole since even if the original Karawuian coming from another universe lost their memories, they still felt like they were in debt with Yeiterre, given that it's canon that some general memories stick like we see with Lilie's dad), the full thing could be left to the player to piece together by reading some books in some library somewhere in the land of Kuruwa
Alder would explain that in order to go on with the rite they need to complete the trials of the totem pokemons, in fact in Pokèmon's DLCs, the main gameplay loop is maintained from the base game, so imo this could work as another island from the base game, and like you said, it would still need to maintain its route-based exploration system, so i propose that instead of going on random hikes to find the Totems, you have 3 other cities, which would be a break between the wild routes and in which the trial SHOULD take place, to retrive some sort of emblem or token that is then used in Yeiterre's rite, but they're having troubles due to the UBs.
Professor Aldrerwould then give you a particularly friendly UB he has been studying to help you defeat the other UBs, poipole, and would then send you off to one of the cities.
Now i'm also not very convinced with the Totems, since all Totems in Alola are new Pokèmons introduced in the 7th gen, but ofc you didn't choose Beartic, Honchcrow and Wailord at random, and it's actually very smart tying them to the traditions of the places, so, given that every DLC has also reused a mechanic from generation seven, I think that it would make sense to have an Alolan Beartic, Honchcrow and Wailord (even if technically they're Karawuian froms, but Galarian Slowpoke is called Galarian so idk). The reason for their evolution could be that since these Pokemons were venerated by the locals, they evolved to make use of the "emblems" that the people of Karawu would bestow upon them as offerings, which could maybe resemble the patterns on Yeiterre's body.
Alolan Wailords could become Water/Ice, the locals kept giving these offering (imaging them as some sort of carved stone plate) to the Wailords, but due to the cold waters of Karawu, they would usually freeze. The wailords tho found them more useful as pieces of ice they could use to attack and so the people complied. Alolan Beartics could become Ice/Rock given they could use these emblems to fight, maybe turning them into fists made out of rock of use them in conjunction of their ice ranged attacks. And lastly, Honchcrow would need to lose one of it's typings and i would say that the best idea would be making it Dark/Steel. Honchcrows are said in the pokedex to like shiny things, so the locals could have kept giving them the shinier emblems, eventually turning to metals and jewels, and the Honchcrows gladly accepted these offerings, but given that they kept adorning themselves in these heavy metals and jewels, flying became harder and harder, to the point where they lost their ability to fly. This would also play well into the dark type, which would now represent the vanity of the Alolan Honchcrows instead of the Mafia theme they had going on.
So basically, the scheme would be: arrive to new city, defeat the UB that's causing troubles, this makes the trial captain think you're worthy of taking on the Trial itself, do that, defeat the Totem, off to the next city.
The UBs you have to fight imo could be the ones that aren't shown in the cutscenes of Sun and Moon, with the difference that Kartana and Celesteela wouldn't be version exclusive, this leaves Guzzlord left out, but this will make sense in a moment.
After obtaining the 3 emblems and returning to professor Alder, the rite would go on, in this DLC, Alder could fill the role of the Kahuna, challenging you before the rite as an offering to Yeiterre, which would then be awakened, and after assisting to your battle would do all the bazazas of going to the highest mountain and challenging you to catch him. After you do, Guzzlord would emerge, starting to devour everything (Or if you want to keep Kartana and Celesteela version exclusive, another Naganadel that starts destroying stuff), you win, the Professor informs you that the things stabilized and that no more UBs will be showing up, end.
Now thrown in some other rival, make the professor hot, some other side activity and here is a cool DLC for you.

It wouldn't happen after becoming champion. Both SV and SWSH have there first DLC obtained early.

DLC was an awful step 'forward'. Third versions might cost you more, but they fixed core issues with the base games AND added new content. Sword/Shield and Scarlet/Violet will never have these problems remedied, just the new content tacked on.

I wish Sun and Moon had gotten DLC instead of an enhanced version, or if it did get an enhanced version in an alternate reality, a sequel like black and white 2. I always felt like Ultra really ruined the story of Sun and Moon, any I know people who played ultra and have no interest in playing the OGs. Very unfortunate considering ultra SUCKED
