Thanks for watching-let me know how you do this winter. I catch more fish on this rig than any other in the winter months. It's not sexy, but it's cheep-easy and it works for me.
Great video Steve. I enjoy finesse fishing the most, so I'll be adding this technique to my arsenal. Especially, here in the wintertime. Merry Christmas!
Try this Coop.. A white Twist tail Grub the bigger ones and the smaller ones too. Light line 10 or 8 pound test and split shot long cast. I promote white day and night and chartreuse with flakes. Or the biggest purple worm you have with a twist tail…slow and is so hard to do. I may have to try Slowing down on the Striper..I can’t get them to commit to a lure. I did land a 24 inch on live bait minnow. Thanks For the Show Steve Cooper. Maybe You Could Have your Friends Call up again during your show for a live reports. I was into your conversation the other day. Well Played.
Thanks for watching Tony. Absolutey use this technique in all bass waters. I love the split shot in rocky bottom lakes. I drag bottom and if you loose a rig it quick and inexpensive to replace. Kind of like a carolina rig but you don't have to replace a T-rig weight-swivel and leader when you get hung up. Let me know how you do.
Hey Steve Thank you for the video I was trying to see where the section on what type worms what color etc I don’t see that posted any where in the comments. Thanks again
Hi Robn-thanks for watching. I like robo worms as a standard worm. The regular colors are all good The Green pumpkins-craw colors-MM3 are a great place to start. It's more important to keep the baits on the bottom in the weeds and fish slow. You can also try some of the z-man worms for the floating style worms. Let me know if you have any more questions.
It's been a gring but the split shot worm has been my most consistant technique-give it a try.
Great video sir!! Your a hammer 🔨!!
