Firefighter Shows His 5-Year-Old Adopted Daughter Ambulance Where She Was Born

- Marc and Gracie Hadden recently returned to the unusual place where their special daddy-daughter bond first took hold, the back of the ambulance where she was born. Their story began in November 2011 when Hadden, then a firefighter and EMT, was responding to a 911 call about a woman with severe abdominal pain. They arrived to find the woman was pregnant, and Hadden helped deliver a baby girl in the back of his ambulance. Within 48 hours, he adopted the baby girl, and the Haddens went from a family of four to a family of five. #InsideEdition

I think it’s a good thing to talk to a child about their adoption at a young age. 🙂
It is. It gives them perspective on it and helps them realize just how special it is when 1 parent doesn't want you but another desperately does want you.

What an amazing story. When the girl said "My daddy delivered me", what a heart melting moment. It takes a real man to take on the responsibility of bringing up somebody else's kid. A massive well done to him, thanks to him that cute little girl will be happy and grow up in a loving family. It's so refreshing to hear a story like this at a time when you hear of kids being hurt and abused by their adoptive parents. My faith in humanity restored.

I was a middle child growing up in a huge family, four by blood and six adopted. My mother has the biggest heart I've ever seen.
Sure life was hectic but no matter what she made us know we were all loved.
I was adopted when I was 9 years old and I have an adopted son that is now 8 and I have had him sense birth..it's a Beautiful thing to do, to give unselfishly to another human being...God Bless you and your Family..

Juniana Kravitz Nothing probably, it's likely that she just didn't want to keep her or couldn't take care of her.
Hmm, that's possible. But glad she got a great home.
Juniana Kravitz I think this is the same story where the mother had an unplanned pregnancy, and the EMT adopted the child. She just wasn't prepared and couldn't raise a child, so she just gave her up for adoption.
It said on the 911 call that the mother had some type of pain
Just shows one that God can have you in the right place at the right time for all the right reasons.... this is such a wonderful, heart-touching story:)
If she grow up with them of course, she loves them AND if they raise her since newborn of course they love her as their own daughter and and their son sibling sister. Nothing most important moments and the most memorable memories could be. God bless these family

I was born when my dad stopped at the middle of the road when my mom was in labor and a 2 men cops helped her . Till today I thank these two cops for who I am today
